Funny / Tucker

• Tucker going to stay with his father and the new girlfriend. In his narration he refers to Debbie as "that man-stealing she-beast". The door swings open, Debbie in nothing but a dressing gown. She squeals "Tucker!" and flings her arms around him. Tucker gets a blissfully pleased look on his face and his narration goes "what was I saying?"
• In the pilot, Leon randomly shouts out at Claire "Mom, will you get your head out of your ass!" - Tucker reacts by bursting out laughing. He laughs so hard, a piece of chicken flies out of his mouth (and down Claire's top) and the chair rocks back and falls.
• Claire thinks Tucker was being a Peeping Tom.
  Claire: He was watching me change!
  Tucker: Ew! I wouldn't do that. She's all old.
  He runs off.
  Claire: I'm only 38!
  • She's later on the phone to Grandma about it. Jeannie's tactic...
  Jeannie: Mom, hi. What happened was that Tucker went to the bathroom to...relieve himself. And Claire just misunderstood. Hey, how about you come for a visit? You and Dad can stay on the couch. With me.
  Grandma: Claire! You're making her sleep on the couch!?
• Tucker exploits Claire's fear of her mother by suggesting she clean the living room...
  Claire: I've already vaccuumed twice. (beat) I suppose it does take a third time to get all the little dirt.
• More like Fridge Funny but Claire's choice during charades is Mommie Dearest. Given who her mother is and that she uses her as the symbol for "mommy", it seems Claire does have a sense of humour.
