• When a student randomly says that maybe Paul is late for class due to messing with the food in the cafeteria, one of the other kids takes that comment way more seriously than he has a right to.
• Hunham and Angus' screaming match in the car on the way to the hospital to deal with Angus' dislocated shoulder.
  Angus: You said you washed your hands of me!
  Hunham: No, I meant metaphorically!
  Angus: OF COURSE YOU MEANT METAPHORICALLY! What were you gonna do, actually go and wash your hands?!
  • Hunham frantically trying to scrape the ice from his car in order to drive Angus. Coastal winters are no joke!
• Hunham's escalating story of how how he ended up back at Barton from being accused of plagiarism at Harvard. It's a wild ride which ends with him attempting to run down his accuser with his car. The story is told in a liquor store and ends with the shopkeeper (Who had been listening in) handing over his change.
  Shopkeeper: Here you go, Killer.
• Hunham calling the headmaster "penis cancer in human form."
• For Christmas, Hunham gifts both Angus and Marie Meditations. Their reactions are funny enough (Angus' confusion, Mary asking if he gives this to everyone), but later, we see that Paul has a box full of copies, just laying in his office.
