  • Indoor NPC interactions. Get a quest involving a king or queen, then go to the castle and the other about him or her. Often you'll get a response such as "I don't think we have any"... when the person you're asking about is their spouse, and RIGHT BESIDE THEM to boot. Also try talking to the King of Worms when he's not involved in a current quest: often he will greet you with, "Well met, stranger!"
    • Similarly, it's also possible to have someone not know where their own home is!
Player: Greetings to you. What is the best way to The Wicksly Residence?
Gondastyr Wicksly: I heard that name somewheres before, but I got no idea where.
  • While most of the responses to declining a quest range from Stealth Insult to full-on "The Reason You Suck" Speech, a few of them are oddly hilarious.
    • Merchants, innkeepers, and other miscellaneous town NPCs may ask you to clear up local rumors being spread about them. Decline, and they'll reply with:
I guess you heard the one about me not keeping my promises. Damn lies!
    • One of the mid-level quests for Knightly Orders has you slay a band of orc raiders. If you reject it, the quest-giver's response is hilariously (and uncharacteristically) terse.
      Wimp.
  • One quest has you fight in a duel on behalf of a cowardly suitor. If you meet the guy you're supposed to duel with, you'll find the other person has also hired someone to substitute for him.
