  • Junior trying to tell Tulip to come down without using her jetpack.
Junior: It is still a personal victory if you use the bucket! (Cue bored looking flightless birds playing with their phones while crammed in a bucket.)
  • Tulip in general, but especially when she's alone in the letters department and argues with her different personas.
  • While trying to sneak the newly made baby out of the building, Junior and Tulip run into Pidgeon Toady in the elevator. They get in a long exchange about last night's game before Junior and Tulip reach their stop and make a run for it. Only then does it dawn on Pidgeon Toady that there was no game last night. Made all the funnier by the fact that he's the one who brought it up in the first place.
  • Junior warns Tulip not to look at the baby because even a brief glimpse of its cuteness could ruin your life.
    Junior: Remember Jasper?!
(Cue deadpan Tulip standing in front of wall of newspaper headlines about Jasper orphaning her.)
Tulip: Hm... I'm trying to put my finger on it.
Junior: You're being sarcastic because he changed the course of your life.
    Tulip: That's right.
  • Junior assumes that he can fly a plane because well, he's a bird. He immediately and vocally admits he's wrong as they fall out of the sky.
Junior: I WAS WRONG! I WAS IMMEDIATELY WRONG!
    • Then when he finally gets the aircraft under control...
      Tulip: Is your seat wet?
Junior: Yep. That's my urine. I peed on the seat when we were falling.
  • Pigeon Toady begins to suspect something's going on with Tulip and Junior. "Powder? (Tastes it) Baby Powdah!"
    • "HOMING PIGEON POWAHS ACTIVATE!"
  • The first "Why do you want to be boss?" conversation they have on the plane. Especially the way Tulip just keeps bugging and poking at Junior, much like a playful spouse or little sister would. We all know someone like this.
  • Tulip's Mama Bear instinct kicking in, cutting away to scenes of various mothers across history protecting their children to the tune of Keep On Loving You.
  • When Junior first encounters the wolves.
Junior: Oh, great! Now I'm surrounded by wolves! What're you gonna do, knock me unconscious? (*CLANG!*) Perfect! (blacks out)
  • As soon as the wolves lick the baby, they instantly fall in love with her and adopt her as one of them. "Okay; this tiny thing is now a wolf, everybody!!!" Even before the licking, they're temporarily distracted from their fight to coo incessantly over her when she giggles.
  • The Wolf Pack's Forms, which are repeatedly called out for being something that isn't natural by Junior and Tulip:
    • From the initial chase, we have the Wolf Bridge, then the Wolf Boat, and finally the Wolf Submarine - the last requiring all of them surfacing for a moment to take a breath, and the "sonar" being a wolf saying "ping ping ping" repeatedly.
    • The first chase then ends with the Wolf Plane...which falls apart the moment they're off a cliff. Hilariously, this is the only form which fails to work.
    • Later in the film they transform into a minivan. Complete with wolf booster seat.
      • And the wolves acting as the tires say "Ow ow ow" repeatedly.
    • After that, they turn into a broken heart. It's just as hilarious as it is kinda sad.
    • Junior and Tulip's reactions to these are pretty funny as well, particularly the first one:
      Junior: What is happening?
Tulip: The wolves are forming a suspension bridge.
      Junior: How is that possible?
      Tulip: I don't know.
    • The Alpha and Beta wolves themselves, doubly so if you're already a fan of Key & Peele's work.
      (after licking Diamond Destiny)
      Beta: Are you in love?
Alpha: (wide eyed) I am in love, are you in love?
Beta: (becoming wide eyed) I am in love, too.
Alpha: (nodding intently) I agree I agree I agree I agree.
  • Nate manipulating his workaholic parents to help him under the excuse of building precious memories before he grows up.
You'll blink and I'll be in college...
Don't worry, you'll still be my idol for the next two years.
I'm not a jerky teen yet!
  • Nate's mom grabbing a hammer and smashing her chimney with one hit, then commenting that it wasn't very well built to be broken by a small woman like her.
  • Tulip rapping to the baby to make her stop crying.
Tulip: You are a baby! You are a baby! Little hands, little feet, look at you, you're so sweet!
  • Junior summoning a very large knife out of literally thin air to stab the raft and avoid the fact that he's starting to get attached to the baby. It's never explained even slightly, which therefore makes it ten times funnier.
  • The baby antics that make up the middle of the film have an added level of amusement, given the species barrier of the "parents".
  • Toady's fantasy of singing "How You Like Me Now?" by The Heavy and started to speak gibberish and eventually the subtitles were in gibberish with a question mark at the end.
  • After Toady Pigeon tells Hunter about Junior and Tulip delivering a baby, they were in a sauna, that turns out to double as an elevator that lead them to a helicopter launch pad. When the helicopter takes of, it blows away Toady's towel and his entire body from the neck down is pixelated! What makes this funnier is that Toady, as well as most Birds in the company just wear a neck tie!
Pigeon Toady: My towel blew away.
  • Tulip and Junior trying to deal with the baby when it refuses to go to sleep at night. Like with many first-time parents, they get crankier than the baby.
Tulip: You go to bed and I'll take care of it.
    (beat)
Junior: Alright! I'll go to bed.
Tulip: I can't believe you went to bed!
Junior: You just said it was ok for me to go to bed!
    Next morning:
    Tulip: Junior, I’m tired too!
Junior: (sleeping) Hmm, you made it, you get it.
    Tulip: *pissed*
  • Alpha: "First, we are going to take this baby and we are going to raise her to become a strong, independent woman! And then....we're gonna eat you!"
  • How Junior gets captured by Hunter.
    Junior: Hunter?
    Hunter: You're fired.
    Junior: But-but-but...
Hunter: "But-but-but..." You are so idiotic! How were you not suspicious?
(camera zooms out to show only the front wall of a house between two dilapidated factory buildings.)
Junior: ...I thought it was a gentrifying neighborhood!
    • Then when Tulip rescues Junior—but not before also calling him out for falling for such an obvious trap.
Tulip: Why would you think this was her house?! It's surrounded by a bunch of scary warehouses!
      Junior: (irritably) Gentrification!
  • The penguins get a cutaway gag when Hunter assures Junior that penguins are such good parents that there are entire documentaries about it. Cue a penguin huddling over baby penguin, who's then promptly and unceremoniously eaten in front of the baby.
  • Junior, Tulip, and the Penguins having to fight in near-silence so as not to wake the baby. Junior and Tulip muffle their cries of pain by biting each other (which doesn't exactly help) and when the lead penguin gets stabbed with a fork, he screams into a pillow.
    • In the trailer, it was accompanied by a faint lullaby, while in the movie itself, there's no background music set to the fight at all. Just footsteps and muffled screams, made funnier by the complete lack of score.
  • Hunter is seemingly aware of the Running Gag bombshell effect that plays whenever he says "BOOOOOOOSSSSS". He says it at the end to Junior to try and persuade him to stop... but the effect doesn't play. Hunter even says, "Hmm - didn't work that time." and tries it again.
  • "THIS IS MY MOMENT!!!" Cue Pigeon Toady Epic Failing to shut down the Baby Factory with his drone.
    • He later shows up to make a Heel–Face Turn... while clearly heavily concussed as a result of the above.
Pigeon Toady: I agree! Baby delivery is what we're born to do! [He stares gormlessly into space for a few moments; a tooth falls out]
Tulip: ... Should we doing anything about him?
      Junior: [Uncertainly] It... it's fine.
  • Near the climax of the film, Hunter uses one of the large robots to smash into the Baby Factory. What sells it is the incredibly casual way he greets everyone.
    Hunter: Oh, hi.
  • Nate's parents awkwardly realize that the storks now deliver to front doors, and thus their demolishing their house to build a landing pad was, while fun, completely unnecessary.
  • Nate shouting that his request was for a brother, and looking badly disappointed until the baby shows off the ninja skills he tacked on in the letter.
  • In the family group hug at the end, Tulip's hugged by her parents, siblings, aunt, uncle, grandparents, but in the group hug is also the family cat who is not happy in the hug, but keeps an Aside Glance to the audience the whole time.
    • Everyone in Tulip's family, including the cat, is a ginger.
  • Pigeon Toady’s Guide to Your New Baby mini-movie set after the film features Pigeon Toady explaining how to take care of a baby. Highlights include:
    • Tulip wondering out loud if Pigeon Toady knows anything about babies in the background.
    • Pigeon Toady being handed the largest baby to feed.
    • The wolves take the form of a baby crib and a baby swing.
    • Pigeon Toady trying to sing a lullaby to get the baby to sleep, only to fall asleep himself.
    • The wolves complain that he's a "regular Kubrick", with "all the talent" because of his many takes.
