• In the third episode of series 1 whilst discussing the helpless feeling one experiences when exposed to all the abundant fiction and non-fiction horrors on TV today (while bloodied and tied to a chair, to boot), a man in a crime scene suit wielding a bat and wearing a rather large strap-on approaches Charlie from behind. He begins waggling the thing in Charlie's face, the screen then cuts to black, then back to Charlie; now alone and with the dildo driven through one cheek and out the other side.◊ He continues presenting like normal.
• The segment on Aspirational TV has several outstanding moments:
  • The Atomic F-Bomb:
    Charlie: [In the face of a random socialite] FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFF!
    Random Socialite: [unflinching] No.
  • Charlie's comment on programs promoting plastic surgery as a way of life improvement:
    Charlie: Surely it's a rum state of affairs when TV actively encourages you to hack yourself apart in the name of "self-worth". I mean, hacking up a stranger, okay, that I can understand; but this is just sick!
  • At end, where Charlie talks about how satisfying it is sometimes to just sit back and sneer at it all, he does so by joshing the tramp he has been hanging out with for the segment, causing the actor playing said tramp to openly corpse.
• The Britannia High segment in its entirety. We have "I'm the man/No, you're a c***", as well as the "Where's the Paper" skit and lines like "piss-weasel" and "bum-balloon".
• The third episode of the first season has Charlie saying that the world isn't as scary as TV makes it seem.
  Charlie: What am I saying exactly, well, be not afraid I suppose. Yeah, the world's a nasty place at times but, hey we can change it, together. Maybe if we look inside and learn to love a bit more and fear a bit less then together we ca- JESUS CHRIST IT'S A MOUSE! IT'S A F***ING MOUSE! IT'S A F***ING MOUSE!
• In the first episode of the fourth season Charlie talks about the newspapers hypocrisy in criticizing TV for manipulative editing.
  Charlie: It's not like the papers might pay some scum sack to stand outside a night club, firing of three hundred photos of whichever celebrity they got it in for that week just so they can select a shot of them mid blink where it looks like they're a bit drunk and run it alongside some quasi fictional article filled with quotes from imaginary sources, IS IT?! Oh, it's not like the papers frequently run stories bearing so little resemblance to reality they might as well be accompanied Roger Hargreaves illustrations and a Lewis Carrol bi-line! OH, NO! IT'S NOT LIKE THE PAPERS MISLEAD EVERYONE (room starts shaking) ON A DAILY F***ING BASIS, IS IT?! NO, HEAVEN FORFEND!^note Archaic word for "forbid"
• Meeting a insider from the advertising industry:
  Charlie: So, you're in advertising?
  "Insider"^note "For legal reasons, we should point out this is actually an actor, in a wig.": Yeah.
  Charlie: (punches him in the face) Sorry, that was a reflex action.
  Insider: That's alright.
  Charlie: Well, in that case... (punches him in the face again)
