For much of the awesomeness and drama that defines Money Heist, there's also plenty of Funny Moments throughout the series.

Season 1:

    Episode 1
  • When Tokyo has her first wary meeting with the Professor, she holds him at gunpoint with a pistol at his groin, complete with Tokyo's narration emphasizing that part in tone, as if she admits that it was quite amusing.

    Episode 5
  • Tokyo narrates how she first got interested about knowing Nairobi during a first-aid surgery class from the Professor, who uses both Rio and Nairobi on a table to demonstrate where the human body's essential organs are located. When Tokyo gets her turn while Nairobi is on the table, she pulls up the latter's bra a bit as she notices a cesarean scar just below her chest. Nairobi immediately gets defensive against her, thinking Tokyo wanted to see her breasts, as Tokyo casually teases her about the scar and behaves with no worries towards her at all.
  • Midway during his early treatment for the bullet wound he received at the end of the previous episode, Arturo is offered a phone by Berlin to talk with his wife Laura, who came to the police tent to try and communicate with him out of fear about his safety. Arturo confesses how much he'd have liked to spend more time with her for all the past years of their marriage if he had been able to... only to slip into saying Mónica's name and then correct himself with Laura clearly noticing it. Berlin's amused reaction and subsequent comment to Arturo about how his worried mind can mess up with the lovers he wants to speak to is the cherry on the cake.
  • During the flashback wherein Tokyo first tries to know Nairobi in the latter's bedroom, Nairobi's explanation of her tragic history with her son (which takes for a while) is followed by Tokyo asking Nairobi for an alcoholic drink in case she wants to relief herself. What's supposed to be a dramatic and/or heartwarming moment quickly whiplashes into Tokyo and Nairobi getting into a drunk party (for a lack of a more exact term) while trying on random clothes, blaring Reggaeton music loudly, and trying to dance like said genre with goofy results. Even after the Professor hears the noise they're making and comes to tell them to go to sleep, the two still insist on "partying" some further.

    Episode 9
  • Nairobi's method of interrupting and intimidating Pablo and other seven Brighton College students picking up on Alison at the bathroom (grabbing Pablo's balls forcibly and making him imitate a rooster's crow) is both awesome and hilarious.

    Episode 11
  • At the beginning of the episode, the first time when "Bella Ciao" plays in the series with Moscow singing, the other robbers in the mint except Oslo and Rio progressively join him with dances and wild cheering. While doubly heartwarming, there's something inherently amusing about the fact that Berlin, who had shown himself as calm and sophisticated even when he was pretty positive or being theatrical, taking dust from the dirt Moscow reached, and dancing with no problem at all with the other robbers, including getting into a ring arrangement that Tokyo doesn't take part of.
  • When Raquel tells the cops and officials who currently aren't doing any work at the tent to take a break for the rest of the day, she adds that they should all shower because the tent is starting to have a "deep cop" scent.
  • This exchange between the Professor and Raquel while they're on their date, invoking a "Basic Instinct" Legs-Crossing Parody (even though it eventually whiplashes into Raquel holding the Professor at gunpoint and threatening him):
The Professor: Since when will we stop calling each other "you"?note
Raquel: Once you look at me from below the table. (the Professor appears clearly hesitant to do so during a pause) Come on, look down! Look at me from below the table!
The Professor: (getting more nervous and shaking) I- I warn you that if you're going to turn on a basic instinct to me, I might as well need something stronger because I'm a bit classy-
Raquel: Salva! Do it for me. (the Professor goes ahead and sees Raquel's pistol)

    Episode 13
  • In the flashback where the Professor teaches the team on how to act towards the hostages if they begin to defy them, he asks what unites people the most. This leads to a pretty funny discussion.
    • Denver answers with football, at which the Professor says there's a thing that unites people even more than that, so Tokyo gives her own answer by mentioning sex. As the Professor tries to correct his reference of sexuality being exclusively a two-in-two thing by explaining polygamous relationships, the robbers get increasingly amused until they laugh at the Professor firmly saying that sex has nothing to do with the plan. Moscow ends it by saying that if they ended up starting an orgy, Helsinki would be behind him.
    • Then, when the Professor asks Nairobi what "unites us more than sex", the robbers get rather interested (since Nairobi had teased him into having a relationship with him earlier that day), until he clarifies himself by saying "everyone" and Nairobi replies with "money", allowing the Professor's lesson to continue normally.

Season 2:

    Episode 2
  • In the flashback to Rio setting up the Professor's communication system, we're shown a scene of him choosing a digitally-altered voice tone for the Professor after he's finished with the building part. Rio's first choice is a woman's voice, which the Professor finds awkward (much to Rio's enjoyment) and asks him to change... to which Rio shows him a chibi-like voice saying various curse words while laughing; the Professor's not amused by this, and tells Rio to be serious before the latter gives him the voice tone he uses during the actual Mint heist.

Season 3:

    "We're Back"
  • As the Professor is gathering all of the first heist's surviving robbers on a ship, the robbers come one by one on vehicles. It culminates in Helsinki and Nairobi dropping themselves into the water while riding on a moped, then swimming all the way to the ship with excitement, just as the Professor believed they wouldn't come and thus ordered the ship's pilot to depart.
  • On the first class about the Bank heist scheme, the Professor decides to repeat the team's three rules in order for the new members to learn them. It leads to some of the older members amusingly calling him out on how all the rules had already been broken by them in one way or another.
