• In Chapter 9, Mariko falls off a ladder while trying to get a glass ornament to decorate the Christmas tree in Konata and Kagami's apartment. Luckily, as she explains to Chiyoko, her butt broke her fall.
  • In the same chapter, Tsukasa ends up getting herself tangled in a bunch of tinsel, and the poor girl ends up getting punched by Minami (not knowing who she hit until afterward), who was trying to protect Yutaka from the "tinsel monster". Yutaka is embarrassed and Minami is immediately remorseful, close to tears. Fortunately, Tsukasa, being the epitome of a Nice Girl, was very forgiving.
• In Chapter 18, after Kagami bumps into Tomoyo at the supermarket, this exchange occurs:
  Kagami: Tomoyo, is that you?
  Tomoyo: Either that or I'm wearing the wrong panties.
• The fight between Tomoyo and Hiroko in Chapter 22.
  Tomoyo: You are so immature, Hiroko!
  Hiroko: Well you're an idiot, Tomoyo!
  Tomoyo: You suck!
  Hiroko: No, ''you'' suck!
• Konata's strange food cravings during pregnancy.
