Episode 1/Chapter 1-2

  • When Hikari seeks Takahashi out to help with an ill student, he says that he can judge a student's health with just one look at their face.
[Gilligan Cut to the student in question—a dullahan]
    Takahashi: SHE HAS NO FACE!
Hikari: Yeah, I can see that.
  • Takahashi is a little dazed when after years of trying to meet demi-humans, four just show up in his life all in one day.

Episode 2/Chapter 4-5

  • When Takahashi advised Machi to be willing to breach the subject of jokes about being a dullahan with her friends since that's what she wants in a friendship, he probably didn't expect her to start practicing so soon... or at his expense. When Hikari runs away shooting her mouth off after catching him hugging Machi, she comments that Takahashi must really be a dullahan, since his head's about to roll.
    • The setup for the scene is brilliant, too. After Takahashi hugs Machi at her request, he notes that it's probably not smart to do this very often, since he's a teacher and she's a student and people can get ideas. Then he amends his statement, saying they'd probably be fine as long as any hypothetical interlopers weren't like that loudmouth Hikari... who is revealed to be watching from the doorway after a short camera pan to the side. Then she gets a devious look on her face...
  • Every segment with Hikari and Machi's body.
    • Hikari comments on the effort that Machi put on picking the perfect set of clothes for her date with Takahashi. Then she adds that it won't make a difference since the body is staying at home with her. Cut to Machi yelling in surprise and her body slumping in defeat.
    • After Machi's body writes that she's "having a great time with Takahashi, thank you!", Hikari is delighted...and maybe a little jealous. She lays on the table in front of Machi's body and...jabs her fingers into her breasts. Hard. This has the obvious reaction. Even funnier is Machi's body angrily flailing her arms in order to try and punch Hikari for that.
Hikari: Ooh, she's mad! She's mad!
    • Himari walks in the door at home, only to meet Hikari slowly guiding a headless, pee-pee dancing body into their bathroom. Once Machi's body is safely inside, Himari demands to know what's going on, and Hikari cheerfully explains that that was just her dullahan friend. Beat. "WHERE DID YOU PUT HER HEAD?!"

Episode 3/Chapter 6, 16.5, 10

  • Takahashi secretly losing his cool after catching Satou, especially juxtaposed against Satou's monologue of her falling for Takahashi as well as his seeming calmness before the moment. The anime plays it up by the romantic music smashing to a stop the moment he gasps.
Takahashi: Who knew succubi were so sexy...?! Thank goodness I was able to keep my cool...
Tetsuo Takahashi, Biology Teacher, unwitting womanizer.
  • After Hikari barges in on Takahashi logging his interviews, he takes the opportunity to try and learn the romantic connotations that bloodsucking seems to have. Throughout it, Hikari is clearly BS-ing her way through to hide her embarrassment as well as her utter lack of romantic experience.
    • While Hikari is blown away by how flatly Takahashi can simply say "sex", the anime repeats the word in an increasingly, well, sexual tone.
    • To show the difference, Hikari kisses Takahashi on the cheek. Takahashi isn't even fazed.
Hikari: Heeheehee! Gotcha! Maybe kissing is easier than sucking blood!
*Cuts back and forth between Takahashi and Hikari*
Takahashi: I see, I see. "Kissing is easier than sucking blood."
Hikari: Guh-hah! Don't write that down!
  • As Machi is confiding to Satou about her crush on Takahashi, Satou's repeatedly losing her cool over him herself.
    • Machi first confesses she's in love with Takahashi, cue a Scary Flashlight Face as she mentally says "I do, too!"
    • And as Machi admits to enjoying Takahashi physique, Satou painfully concurring with her. The anime takes this up a notch with a quick Imagine Spot of Takahashi flexing his arm with a very sexual grunt, in contrast to the manga's simple image of his arms.
    • And when Machi finally talks of how Takahashi liked that they have the same hairstyle, Satou finally loses it and starts whining about how Machi's already beating her out while flailing her legs in a childlike tantrum.
Takahashi: We sort of match. Isn't that cool?
(In an increasingly handsome tone) Isn't that cool? Isn't that cool?

Episode 4/Chapter 7-9, 11

  • As Satou is offering to help Takahashi with understanding demihumans, she become more pushy with it, leaning towards Takahashi (and soon completely on the table) without realizing he has an eyeful of her swaying breasts. The gag ends with a close-up on her lower face as she pants erotically while Takahashi is completely pulverizing a juice box to fight off the arousal.
  • Takahashi gather the demi-girls to start a support group, but it quickly devolves into a Takahashi-hugging session.
    • Satou wants to hug Takahashi too, and even takes off her glasses to up her charm a tiny bit. Takahashi flat out refuses. This is played up further in the anime, where she also gets a slight blur filter and an enticing smile before suddenly going bug-eyed as she advances on Takahashi.
Satou: While you're at it, can I-
Takahashi: No, I can't do that.
      Satou: I thought so.
    • Doubly funny since all the demi-humans gets all cuddly with the sensei while a succubus gets none.
    • And when Hikari has Machi personally hug Takahashi, he freaks out because her breasts pressed against him. Cue Hikari and Kusakabe's confusion, Machi's embarrassment, and Satou's jealousy. The anime makes the moment even funnier by showing it through a series of Evangelion-esque diagrams, like if something incredibly dangerous was going on.
    • And for cherry on top, the after-chapter omake shows an Imagine Spot from Satou where she seduces Takahashi. Her dialogue sounds straight outta a porn doujinshi.
  • Takahashi is finally alone with Himari and tries to ask her about what it's like living with a demihuman. Meanwhile, Himari is mentally suspecting him of wanting to do various unethical things and each time on cue, Takahashi says something that causes her to falsely confirm her suspicions.
    • In the anime, while Takahashi is discussing how Hikari's behavior is almost the complete opposite of vampires, especially concerning garlic, the Imagine Spot shows her partying in a sea of garlic bulbs with a high-pitched squeaky voice.
    • The segment ends when Hikari texts Himari about kissing (manga)/hugging (anime) Takahashi, which panics Takahashi and infuriates Himari.
      Himari: You... RATIONALIZING, DEMI-LOVING TEACHER!!!

Episode 5/Chapter 12-15

  • While Kusakabe's bonding with the other girls, she allows Hikari to nibble on her so that she can sate her vampiric biting urges. Hikari goes completely squirrel-faced as she noms away on Kusakabe. The anime makes it even more hilarious with the sound she makes as she nibbling.
    • Later, Hikari explains that she usually asks Himari to let her nibble. Cut to a scene with her popping up behind a couch doing so, and then Smash Cutting to her on the couch nibbling away.
  • While the girls talk to Takahashi over why he calls Hikari by her first name, the two go beady-eyed, look at each other, and say it's because of Himari.
    • Kusakabe then points out that Takahashi calls Himari "Himari-chan". This lead to him giving a demonstration of why he doesn't do so with Hikari.
    Takahashi: Good morning, Takanashi.
    Hikari: *stiffly* G-Good morning, Sensei.
    Takahashi: Hikari-chan!
Hikari: Hi~~~! *idol pose and winky face*
    Takahashi: Hikari.
    Hikari: What's up?
Kusakabe: O-Okay, I kind of get the idea.
    • Takahashi finally realizes that out of the teachers, Hikari calls him just "Sensei", which makes him annoyed.

Episode 6/Chapter 3, 24, 23

  • Himari lists off the nutty shenanigans Hikari uses her personal fridgenote  for:
    • Hiding desserts
    • Sticking her feet in while reading manga
    • Sticking her head in when she goes to sleep, sometimes getting a cold as a result.
  • Throughout this spat, Hikari is making nonstop blood puns, which only serves to annoy Himari more.
Hikari: Prepare yourself for a bloodbath!
Himari: You've been using an awful lot of blood-related sayings just now.
Hikari: Hehehe... I thought I should show sensei some of my vampiric intellect-
Himari: (*Grabs Hikari's Odango Hair*) YOU ARE ALWAYS TRYING WAY TOO HARD TO SHOW OFF!
Hikari: OW OW OW OW OW!
  • Himari's reaction to discovering that Hikari can easily see her own reflection, after Takahashi brings up how vamps in fiction don't have reflections. She looks like she just wants to die on the spot out of embarrassment.
  • Machi headpatting a sleeping Takahashi and calling him a good boy...as he lies there completely awake unsure what to do or make of it.

Episode 7/Chapter 16-18

Episode 8/Chapter 19, 20, 27

  • As everyone's exam rankings are up, Hikari boasts about the number 2 on the rankings, revealing it to be none other than Takanashi Himari. The anime plays it up by zooming in on Kusakabe's eye with a reflection of "Takanashi Hi-" before the reveal.
    • Then they discover that Machi got number 5 on the list. Cue a stunned Hikari.
    • Once Takahashi shows up, he's clearly tired of Hikari's nonsense as he scolds her, even turning the blood puns from before on her.
Takahashi: Just because you're a vampire doesn't mean all your exams should be red, too.
      * Hikari winces while Kusakabe stifles a laugh*
    • Hikari makes a last ditch attempt to appeal to Takahashi with her cuteness and ask for a hug. Takahashi simply walks away as Hikari cries in vain. The manga in particular makes it even funnier by showing Takahashi walk into the light dramatically like a scene from, well, a manga.
      Kusakabe: It's like some skit.
    • The anime closes on this segment with Kusakabe walking away to take care of her own business while dragging along a latched-on Hikari begging for studying help..
  • Satou discovers Yuki enjoys sneaking in gag-manga to read, but throughout the segment, Yuki is trying to hide that she freakin' loves manga.
  • The previous segment concludes on Satou remembering a time in middle school when a boy named Takkun attempted to pick on her... and learned the hard way that she also studied some Judo during that time as well, as he's literally thrown head over heels over her before being put in an arm lock.
    • Being a succubus, her aphrodisiac effect even changes his screams of pain into screams of absolute joy and ecstasy. Needless to say, he's so thoroughly humiliated that a guy actually almost feels sorry for him. Almost.
Takkun: Ow ow ow! Stop stop stop stopDON'T STOOOOOP!! It hurts... It hurts... Don't stop... Don't stop! Make it hurt more! More... More... MAKE IT HURT MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRREEE!!!!!!!
    • Cut back to the present, and we see that Kusakabe is no longer able to hide her laughter, which causes her to look like she's Laughing Mad.
  • Takahashi talks to Hikari about the difference between her urge to consume blood and the urge to bite, and asks if she has any particular preferences when it comes to nibbling. Cue Hikari declaring an impromptu contest between the demi-girls of who tastes best with gusto of a cooking show, but none of the flair.
  • At this point, if the reader haven't noticed: this is also the episode when Yuki's Covert Pervert and Silent Snarker nature blossoms.

Episode 12

  • At one point, one of the girls asks Saki why she submerged up to her head. She explains it's because she's still embarrassed to be seen in a swimsublooblubblooblubloob
