    Main Story
Introduction Arc
  • Green Arrow's reaction to Nora absorbing electricity from a nearby power line.
  • Upon being teleported to Smallville, the first thing that both teams RWBY and JNPR do is to puke their guts out due to teleportation sickness, something that Superman neglected to warn them about ahead of time.
    • To make it funnier, Yang describes the whole experience as the weirdest thing that's ever happened to her and that she kind of wants to do it again to Blake's incredulous surprise.
  • Blake meeting Krypto the Superdog. What's worse to a cat Faunus than a dog? An alien dog who can fly and has super speed.
  • Jaune and Pyrrha accidentally confess their feelings towards one another after messing around with the Lasso of Truth. With the Lasso forcing them to speak their minds, neither of them could stop the words from spewing out, and afterward were left blushing messes that were unable to look the other in the eye. Diana thought it was beautiful.
  • When Batman asks RWBY and JNPR who let them come to Gotham, they answer someone covered for them. Cut to Booster Gold at the Watchtower realizing he was played and that the eight of them did not go to the restroom.
  • Ruby trying and failing to act formally around Queen Hippolyta of the Amazons, specifically messing up a bow/curtsy combo.

Titans Arc

  • Nora and Beast Boy get into a halfhearted argument over whether or not pancakes are superior to waffles. RWBY and JPR are firmly on Nora's side while the Titans agree with Beast Boy. Halfway through, Cyborg even joins in by giving an actual presentation.
  • Control Freak's entire motivation was about how his favorite show was canceled and set to be replaced with a Flash-animated spin-off. To fans of the original Teen Titans TV show, this not only makes sense but is also hysterical.
    • And this is even funnier to fans of Teen Titans Go! because in that show Control Freak was the one responsible for canceling the original Teen Titans and creating the Teen Titans Go universe in the first place!
  • Beast Boy cutting off Control Freak mid-rant about how he isn't their archenemy. This actually stops the villain cold and derails the rest of the conversation.
Control Freak: You think you can stop me, Control Freak, archenemy to the Titans?! They have tried many times before, and they-!
Beast Boy: Uh, dude? We've been over this. You aren't our archenemy.
Control Freak: Well then, how can you hope to stop the Titans' second greatest-!
Cyborg: You aren't that either, man.
    Control Freak: Third!
    Cyborg: Nope.
    Control Freak: Top five!
Beast Boy: Dude, you're starting to make this awkward.
    • Immediately afterward, Control Freak actually appears to be sulking after that exchange. Nora comments that she thinks the Titans hurt his feelings. The Titans actually seem somewhat shamed after Nora's comment.
  • One of the movies Control Freak uses against the Titans is King Kong, who immediately takes a liking to Yang. The others immediately resolve to tease her for becoming a damsel in distress.
Jaune: Oh, we are so giving her grief about this afterward.
Ruby: I already called dibs on that, Vomit Boy.
    • Even Weiss gets in on the teasing.
Weiss: By the way, Yang? How did you enjoy your time as a damsel in distress?
      Yang: Oh, screw you, Schnee!
  • Weiss defeats Mumbo by stealing his spotlight. She does this by challenging him to a sing-off.
  • Ruby's excitement that the inside of Raven's head is like Inside Out.

Gotham Arc

  • Weiss meets Bat-Cow for the first time and immediately gets into an argument with Damian about the bovine.
    • What's even funnier is that when Batcow starts chewing on a sleeping Weiss's hair, she at first thinks it's Ruby doing it and tells her to stop, only for Ruby to respond "Not me this time."
    • Apparently Bat-Cow sometimes escapes from her enclosure and wanders through Wayne Manor.
  • Pyrrha acts all 'gangsta' when she tries to infiltrate a Black Mask recruitment with Jaune, Red Hood, and Batgirl. She overacts so hard that the recruiter thinks she is a girl from a nice part of Gotham who wants some excitement in her life and is in way over her head.
    • She even ends up getting kicked out along with Jaune because they were just too nice to be gangster material in said recruiter's eyes.
  • Jason, on the other hand, ends up doing things a little too well, and he nearly ends up joining. The others waste no time mocking him for it.
  • Condiment King trying to attack a gathering - emphasis on trying. It ends up with Nora splattered with mustard, the would-be villain sobbing about his sucky life, and the police not even bothering to arrest him because he's just too pathetic.
  • The awkwardness the Batfamily shows when it turns out Batman and Catwoman spent a night together. Yang, on the other hand, finds it hilarious.
    • Weiss, however, is absolutely scandalized, and makes no secret of the fact.
      Weiss: Have...have you no shame?
Damian: No, no he does not.
  • Batman trying to teach Ruby to drive. This results in Ruby inching the Batmobile forward, bit by bit, gripping the steering wheel hard enough to make her hands white.
  • When Batman announces to the rest of the League that he's assigning The Question to find the origin of recent Grimm attacks, everyone else gives a Collective Groan. Hawkgirl doesn't even want to remember the last time she heard one of his rants.
    • And when Batman tells them they don't have to partner up with The Question, everyone agrees.
  • After Ruby says that she knows that she and Damian are going to be friends one day, Yang says that she's probably right, given what happened with Weiss, who gets a haunted look as she thinks about her and Ruby going from "besties" to wearing matching outfits and spending the whole day together...
  • After Ruby finishes showing off all the bullets and functions from the newly rebuilt Crescent Rose, Jason tears up a bit. He pretends he just got some dust in his eye. Not to mention Bruce's reaction to the upgraded Crescent Rose's largest caliber setting.note
    Bruce: A twenty-what?
  • Team RWBY discussing their favorite Pokémon, which happen to be the same as their Boldores and Boomsticks starters.
  • Black Canary is more than a bit worried that Team RWBY has a name for their "landing strategies", meaning that they apparently do it on a regular basis.
  • After JNPR returns from their double date at Bat-Burgers, they call Nightwing to ask if he knows about the business. Turns out he knew but didn't want anyone to find out, especially not the Titans. Beast Boy finds it hilarious.
  • RWBYJNPR's reactions to their Earth-2 counterparts are hilarious, as their personalities are reversed.

Metropolis Arc

  • Nora's goodbye to Bat-Cow, while sweet, also comes with the promise that the bovine will get a chance to nom on more of Weiss' hair (thankfully while the heiress is out of hearing range).
  • Jaune getting three casseroles from single moms.
  • Black Orchid still hasn't picked up the concept of using the door.
  • Nora going all Leeroy Jenkins during the tests at the House of Mystery.
  • Jaune considers Pyrrha his best friend, but he's fully prepared to slap her if she suggests splitting up the party to search the House of Mystery.
    • Then when the first door he opens has a pair of Creepy Twins singing, he promptly slams the door shut and walks away.
Jaune: Nope, not dealing with that.
    • He tries to do the same thing with a room full of Creepy Dolls, only to get into an argument with Yang because the only other way forward is a room with a tentacle monster, and they can't agree on which is worse.
  • The "Freaky Friday" Flip situation between Yang and Weiss, as well as Jaune and Pyrrha, provides plenty of laughs:
    • Yang learns the hard way that her usual fighting style doesn't really work well with Weiss's body, as her attempt to punch out Etrigon does absolutely nothing. She later declares that she's going to make Weiss work out once this is all over.
    • Ruby only needs to see "Yang" and "Weiss" speaking weirdly to figure out what's going on, to the others' befuddlement. She just says that she's come to expect weird stuff like this happening to them.
    • Black Orchid apparently conspired with Etrigan to cause the flip as payback for them bringing a Grimm into the House to help train Ruby's Silver Eyes.
    • Just as the group is leaving, Jaune (in Pyrrha's body) suddenly gets really nervous, just as Pyrrha herself remembers that she drank a lot of water that morning.
  • Nora insults Livewire to get her to attack her, then reveals her ability to absorb electricity. Livewire barely has time for an Oh, Crap! moment before she gets pummeled into unconsciousness. And why did just Nora intervene? She was mad that Livewire was causing trouble on her birthday.
  • There's a "Ren and Nora, butter together" In-Universe joke.
    • Plus Ren's "Please Do Nothing to the Cook" apron makes a triumphant return.
  • As it turns out, Clark tries to be critical of himself whenever he's forced to write an article about Superman, which leads to Lex Luthor frequently citing them. He's well aware of the Irony.
  • How does Superman discover that Blake knows his Secret Identity? He recommends a restaurant with milkshakes so thick you need a spoon, and she reflexively makes a comment on how they must be really thick if the Man of Steel needs a spoon. Without thinking, he agrees with a laugh, then it dawns on both of them what was just said.
  • Chapter 35 features none other than Mr. Mxyzptlk, who is eager to have fun with his new playmates. Hilarity is abound but here are a few highlights.
    • When Mr. Mxyzptlk drags the rest of RWBYJNPR to where Blake and Superman are, Weiss was in a meeting with Lucius Fox and other Wayne Industries board members about the project to revitalize Dust, leaving behind a plushie of her in her canon outfit holding a sign that says "out to pasture". One woman suggests waiting for her to come back, then continue the meeting and never speaking of the incident again, and everyone agrees.
    • Mr. Mxyzptlk's first act is to create a giant version of Zwei (whether or not this was a giant identical copy made by Mxyzptlk or the real Zwei plucked from the bottled city of Vale is unknown). Blake is understandably terrified by this, even more so when Mxy draws the dog's attention to her. It ends with her covered in drool and cowering underneath a billboard.
    • As Mxyzptlk is looking at a list of possible things to try, he nearly says his name backwards before catching himself.
Mxyzptlk: Let's see, maybe Kltp…Hey, wait a minute! Who edited my list?!
Ruby: Darn it! Mr. Mixingspit caught onto us!
Weiss: I told you it wouldn't work!
    • Thanks to Mxyzptlk, Yang loses control of her own arm which proceeds to start beating her up, leading to the bizarre sight of Yang trying to subdue her own limb.
    • Crescent Rose starts spinning like a helicopter, which causes it to go airborne and take Ruby along with it, who is adamantly refusing to let go of her baby.
    • Mr. Mxyzptlk offhandedly mentions that he visited Remnant in the past and apparently annoyed Ozma and Salem so much that they briefly had an Enemy Mine just to get rid of him.
    • Throughout the chapter, there's a Running Gag of Ruby mispronouncing Mr. Mxyzptlk's name. The first two attempts were genuine fumbles, but then she did it deliberately so she could trick him into saying "Kltpzyxm" later on, giving him a smug grin along with Superman when he realized what she did. Even better, she never did learn how to pronounce his name properly.

Fables Arc

  • The Queen of Fables mistakes the members of Team RWBY for their respective Fairytale Motifs.
  • When Weiss ends up in the house of the Seven Dwarves, who all look like Klein Sieben's personalities and she tries to tell them she's not the real Snow White, they all answer "Yes, Princess Snow White!" causing Weiss to Face Palm.
  • Bigby Wolf tells Ruby that he's going to fulfill his role as the Big Bad Wolf by eating Grandma. When she tries to object he tells her that other than the two of them, none of the characters in the story are really alive. Ruby still objects that it's not nice to eat people, even if they're fictional, and Bigby answers that then she should sue him.
    • Ruby's reenactment of the Red Riding Hood and Wolf-Dressed-as-Grandma is pretty funny as well.
  • Unlike Ruby, Weiss doesn't even try to act seriously as Snow White, going full-blown Bad "Bad Acting" and accepting the poisoned apple reluctantly.
    • She also forces the dwarves to clean up their own house instead of doing it herself, much to their displeasure.
    • When the Queen of Fables leaves and Ruby and Bigby go to wake up Weiss, they notice Weiss managed to give the middle finger to the Queen before falling unconscious.
  • Ruby awakens Weiss from the apple-induced coma with a kiss of platonic love. Naturally, Yang teases Weiss about it as soon as she learns about the incident, and even Ruby herself joins in.
  • When Weiss wonders how Ruby can know so much about Earth's fairy tales yet still have trouble with her homework, she says that it's her hobby, and since it's helping them right now she has no room to judge her, which Weiss begrudgingly agrees with.
  • As Yang says she hopes JNPR isn't dealing with something as crazy as this, the scene cuts to JNPR on their weirdest fight to date between the Doom Patrol, Grimm, False Men and the infamous horde of man-eating butts.
Jaune: "...I was not ready for today."
    Ren: "None of us were."
  • Ruby tricks the Queen of Fables into a book by hamming it up about how powerful the information inside is, allowing Doctor Fate to seal her inside. The book in question? The U.S. Tax Code.

Shazam Arc

  • Billy posted his videos of testing out his powers online. RWBYJNPR finds them hilarious.
  • When Luke dubs the amnesiac girl that they find in a mass grave "Violet" due to the color of her powers, Brixson shoots him an incredibly unimpressed look.
  • Once again, Ruby meets someone important via a Crash-Into Hello.
  • Nora volunteers to be the guinea pig for testing what getting hit with Billy's lightning does because of her Semblance, against Jaune, Pyrrha, and Mary's protests because Nora's having Billy hold her so she intercepts one of the bolts that transforms him. When Ren asks why Weiss and Blake are going along with it, Weiss points out that she's curious and that Nora's the safest option (she also wanted Billy to just zap Nora with his hands, but Nora called him a coward for considering it, as Blake points out), and that at worst, she gets knocked out for a few hours, at best(?) she becomes God, and that's it best to find out in a moderately controlled environment.
    • The result is that Nora gets a temporary mini-Shazam boost, and once Yang tosses her Magnhild, punts Billy several hundred feet away.
  • Billy still hasn't decided on a hero name for himself, and while he likes Ruby's suggestion of "Shazam", the fact that it turns his powers on and off means that it's not an option.
  • Billy is excited upon discovering the intellectual skills the Wisdom of Solomon gives him... until Mary forbids him from using them for schoolwork.
  • Billy was late to meeting RWBYJNPR because he was having trouble getting the Rock of Eternity's Portal Door function to go to the right location, then gave a Defensive "What?" at their stares. Yang then decides that the cavern's appearance qualifies as "magical bullshit".
  • Mary spills the beans on Billy sending the kids to the strip club when running from Sivanna to RWBYJNPR, causing Yang to double over laughing. They then learn about how he bought him and Freddy beer, and Billy says that Mary doesn't have to worry about it happening again because beer tastes like actual vomit.
  • As they're leaving the Rock, the Sins try to tempt Ruby. Her deadpan refusal is hilarious.
Ruby: "Eh, no thanks creepy voices."
  • Ruby and Darla bond while having a tea party on top of a water tower in their superhero outfits, talking about how Ruby's Semblance works. The tea also has candy bars in it to add flavor, which Ruby thinks is a great idea.
  • Yang spills the beans to Billy and Freddy about Jaune's "Vomit Boy" nickname.
  • Yang, Jaune, Billy, and Freddy laugh at the tiny Mr. Mind, only to get their asses kicked by the psychic caterpillar. Embarrassed, they spend a minute coming up with a much scarier description of Mr. Mind.
  • While Mr. Mind is extremely dangerous, hearing a small caterpillar telling everyone to tremble before him is incredibly funny.
  • Mr. Mind gets ticked off when RWBYJNPR and the Marvels largely ignore him to chide Yang, Billy, Freddy, and Jaune for lying.
  • Nora wondered how anything still exists if there used to be a whole planet of beings like Mr. Mind that could grow up into entities capable of eating entire universes.
  • Black Adam making a dig at Jaune when he looks at him and notes that some of RWBYJNPR are clearly more skilled than the rest.
  • Freddy is fully into Squee mode about him and the rest of the Marvel Family being on the Watchtower. Then, after Batman shows up and signs his scrapbook when Freddy asks (all while maintaining his serious attitude), and then does his Stealth Hi/Bye schtick before RWBYJNPR arrives in the room, Freddy geeks out so hard that he actually hurts Blake's ears.
  • The Marvel Family is rather surprised to realize that RWBYJNPR found out their identities because Ruby literally ran into Billy and Freddy at the mall. Mary even gets a bit embarrassed because she thought that it was because of more dedicated surveillance.
  • Due to water rationing, none of Team SSSN has bathed in quite some time. Neptune smells his armpits after waking up and promptly gags because of how bad it reeks. And then the rest of the team follows suit. Scarlet even tears up a little at his own odor.
  • Ruby and Blake trade barbs over their respective collections of guns and books. Blake claims that a gun collection does nothing but make people nervous, while Ruby retorts that most of Blake's "novels" don't even count as literature.
  • Colonel Flagg introduces Luke and Violet to Katana with the infamous speech from Suicide Squad (2016), and Violet awkwardly points out how silly it sounds. Katana quietly admits that she's felt the same way for years, but never said anything because Flagg seemed so attached to his speech, much to his embarrassment.

Green Lanterns Assault Arc

  • Immediately after escaping his cell and taking out a few of Brainiac's drones in the process, Qrow decides to rub it in by Flipping the Bird towards one of Brainiac's security cameras and following up with flourish and bow before running off.
  • During the Green Lanterns assault on Brainiac's ship, the Lanterns use a variety of hard-light constructs of weapons against Brainiac's defenses such as missiles, guns, fighter jets, and AA turrets. What does Guy Gardner use to take out some of the laser batteries? A giant baseball bat.
  • How does Guy Gardner fight off a never-ending horde of Brainiac's drones? An equally unending horde of Baltimore Ravens linebackers used as human missiles.
  • Hal breaks up the fight between Qrow and Raven by backhanding her with a giant green hand, then incapacitating her with a hard light Anvil on Head.
  • Qrow meets Hal Jordan and comments on how "Earth" is a stupid name for a planet. Hal's response?
  • Qrow's reaction to being on a sentient planet while being treated at a hospital full of aliens can be summed up as I Need a Freaking Drink.
    • What's even funnier is that Mogo obliges and produces a cup of beer for him. Qrow just decides to go with it.
      Qrow: Thank you, Mogo.
      Mogo: You're welcome.

After the Rescue Arc

  • Everything to do with Hogzilla.
    • How the Justice League finds out about it: They had been trying to reach RWBY, JNPR, and the Titans for almost a week before Captain Atom was called in by the US military, and then three days later, Captain Atom called the Watchtower to tell them he found the teams, and that the incident he'd been called in for was a wild hog (that Ruby had shot) that had fallen into a nuclear waste dump site, mutated, and had been on a rampage for three days.
    • Ruby is first shown energizing a crowd of civilian hunters, trying to shift the blame away from herself and the others only for Blake to keep interrupting her, to her chagrin. One of said hunters assures her not to worry, as something like Hogzilla was bound to happen eventually. To RWBY's bafflement, the other hunters all agree.
      • Weiss immediately lampshades that this experience isn't how nuclear radiation works, only for that same hunter to shrug her off.
Hunter: Hey, I'm no scientist, take it up with him. (Hooks thumb at Hogzilla)
      • Ruby then collects herself and gives an epic speech evocative of Aragorn's at the Black Gate. Epic on its own. Until you remember that she's saying this to civilian hunters fighting a fifty-foot tall, bipedal, mutated pig.
    • The heroes' plan is to hold Hogzilla's mouth open, then drive a jeep of propane and gasoline into said mouth before blowing it up, which they execute flawlessly. An awesome moment... until chunks of meat and gore fall from the sky and the corpse spews gallons of blood.
Jaune: Oh, oh God... This is so much messier than when we do this to Grimm.
      • Ren then remembers that the Jeep they blew up was a rental. Weiss says she needs to file a claim. Ren points out that superhero insurance doesn't cover their own actions. Weiss knows.
    • After everything is over, the first thing the civilians want to know is if they can eat the now-dead Hogzilla. Wonder Girl protests, pointing out that the radiation would give them all cancer. Another civilian asks if Captain Atom can get rid of the radiation, and when he confirms he can, the civilians cheer while the heroes groan.
    • To cap it all off, the exhausted teams RWBY, JNPR, and the Titans are teleported to the Watchtower to meet with the rest of the League. When Superman makes an innocent comment about them having a productive week, that's the last straw for a frustrated Ruby. She then goes into a full-blown rant about how horrible the last three days were in front of the Man of Steel himself. Superman tries to calm her down; however, it only seems to make her angrier. It's not until he mentions the Green Lanterns' attack on Brainiac that her mood does a complete one-eighty.
Ruby: "Do not tell me to settle down! I am an emotionally charged young girl and if I want to rant, then I will rant! There is not a thing you can tell me that will make me—"
Superman: "We got word back from the Green Lanterns about their battle against Brainiac. It's why we were trying to contact you all week."
Ruby: "Oh, how did it go?"
  • In a bit of Black Comedy, Weiss, Whitley, and Willow casually talk about the idea of killing Jacques for his betrayal. They're not really serious about murdering him, but Ruby, who happens to be in the same room, is a bit unnerved by the whole thing.
Ruby: "Should, uh, I be worried about you…discussing a possible murder… and treating it like it's family bonding?"
  • Whitley, being the teenage boy that he is, gets noticeably flustered by Wonder Woman. He tries to avert his gaze, only to find himself staring at Black Canary. He then opts to just stare at the floor instead. Diana finds it rather amusing having gotten used to that sort of reaction.
  • While Yang is unleashing her rage in the holographic training room after learning the truth about her mother, Flash expresses concern and wonders if any of them should intervene before she hurts herself. Qrow waves it off and asks him if he wants to go in there himself and tell her to stop. Flash then looks inside to see Yang ripping the head off of an Ursa and leaves this little gem:
    • What makes it funnier, as noted by Word of God, is that Yang probably couldn't hurt Flash, even if she wanted to. Makes one wonder just how scary an extremely pissed-off Yang looks to make even the Flash keep his distance.
  • While Team RWBY is watching a sparring match between Qrow and Diana, Team JNPR and the Titans are busy renovating their apartment for Qrow, Willow, Whitley, and Penny's inclusion.
Jaune: Nora, put the hammer down!
Nora: But Jaune! We need more space!
Jaune: Not by breaking a wall!
  • When Willow decides to help Weiss master her summoning glyphs, she accompanies Shining Knight to get a weapon of her own. When she comes back, she is seen dragging a very large claymore much to Qrow, Yang, Flash, and Hawkgirl's amusement and everyone else's confusion. Predictably, she has a little trouble wielding it due to its size, but she manages to make short work of a Beowolf with the proper application of her glyphs.
  • Whitley, given what Brainiac did to him, understandably doesn't want to learn to use his Semblance any more than he already does. Then he changes his mind... solely because he wants to show Damian up.
  • The first thing that Penny does upon waking up is to immediately give Ruby one of her famous bone-crushing hugs much to the latter's horror and everyone else's amusement. Even BATMAN can't help but smile.
  • Cyborg made a bet with Mr. Terrific that Ruby would end up flash-stepping up to them when they give the news on Penny. He wins.
  • When Salem demonstrates her immortality to Lex, he merely mentions that he's seen a caveman (Vandal Savage) do the same thing.
  • When talking to Deathstroke about the risks involved with dealing with Salem, the mercenary points out that Salem would most likely know that Lex has already realized that she is inevitably going to betray him, which leads to this exchange.
Luthor: Quite possibly, but does she know that I know she knows I know she's going to betray me?
Deathstroke: Do you find amusement in this?
Luthor: In a morbid sort of way, yes.
  • After taking down the Spider that was attacking Oscar, Oscar worries that the Spiders might try to retaliate against her. Maria waves it off and remarks that they aren't going to admit to the others that they got their ass kicked by an old woman.

Wild West Arc

  • Jaune isn't very good at hiding that he's a superhero, and the kids he looks after can tell he's full of it.
  • Whitley isn't particularly enthusiastic about attending school, especially knowing Damian will be there.
  • David, out of all the kids and staff where Jaune works, is seemingly the only one who doesn't suspect him of being a superhero, even after he fights off a time-displaced dinosaur.
  • The fact that Ruby and Yang made a bet that if they ever time-traveled, it would be either on the Wild West or WWII. Ruby won 20 bucks.
    • When Yang laments the lost opportunity to punch out Nazis, Ruby tries to cheer her up by reminding her that there are still Nazis in their time period to beat up... a fact that suddenly makes her sad. Yang brushes it off, claiming that Neo-Nazis don't count.
    • Later, during the chaos in the present, we see Nora and Hawkgirl fighting Nazis, with the former noting that Yang would've loved it. When Yang gets back and learns about this, she's naturally jealous.
  • While in the Wild West era, Ruby excitedly tries to ride a horse like a cowboy and fails repeatedly. Eventually, a dejected Ruby is forced to ride with Weiss. Yang, on the other hand, is a natural at it much to Ruby's chagrin.
  • That it's Weiss who starts a Bar Brawl with a bunch of drunkards is funny on its own, but that Ruby was so busy at the gun shop that she missed all of the fight is quite hilarious as well. Funnier still, Ruby hits the Rage Breaking Point when she assumes that everyone else started the fight, but when she learns that Weiss did it, she's just disappointed, which Weiss finds even worse.
    • Later, Yang tells Weiss's mother Willow about what happened, much to her teammate's mortification.
  • Ruby panics that she's not sure what year it is back home anymore thanks to the time crash in progress.
  • As it turns out, while Yang can be pretty shameless when flirting with others, when she's the one being flirted at, it turns her into a blushing mess. Ruby finds it hilarious, and Blake gets jealous both times it happens, which flies over Ruby's head.
  • Ruby gets into an argument with Chronos about how his gun isn't period-accurate, which ends up causing Ruby to accidentally hit one of his robot Mooks into the train's furnace. Qrow even notes that she can't even blame it on his Semblance.
  • When Jonah tricks Chronos into agreeing to a duel, only to slug him and knock him out, Ruby gets bummed that she didn't get to see the duel.
  • During the chaos with the time-displaced prehistoric animals and warriors, Whitley and Willow see a man being chased by a T-Rex and another dinosaur, but no one tries to help him, with Nora just saying that it looks like Mayor Brown is having fun. As it turns out, the man wasn't the mayor, the T-Rex is (the man being his assistant), having been transported to the present and given intelligence and speech due to an accident at Star Labs. And he's surprisingly good at it too.
    • When talking about how said T-Rex beat Luthor in a mayoral election, Lois admits (with no small relish) that the article describing said event was one of her favorite ones to write.
  • When discussing the involvement of Talia Al Ghul in the Grimm Smuggling business, Luke responds to Violet's hypothesis that Talia might be going behind her father's backnote  by saying that "[he'd] sooner believe that Green Arrow is a closet brony than Talia Al Ghul is trying to help us from the shadows," prompting this exchange.
Peacemaker: While I do agree with you, Green Arrow is a Brony. He and Black Canary went to a brony convention in Chicago last year. He was the back half of Twilight Sparkle. Drilled a four-inch hole into it's butt so he could breathe.
Luke:[exasperated] Do you even hear yourself? You have an insane story for every Superhero.
Katana: No, no. I heard about that, too. Everything else he's said is complete bullshit, but Green Arrow is actually a brony.
    Luke: What?
    • He then looks to Flagg, who nods in agreement, only increasing Luke's exasperation. As Peacemaker smiles smugly at his little victory, Luke just throws his hands in the air and decides to change the subject.
  • Feeling awkward and confused by calling Raven by her superhero name, as it is the same as his traitorous sister's, Qrow tried calling her by her actual first name, Rachel. Everyone else is somewhat nonplussed by the act, as Beast Boy explains it as a little weird due to the fact that nobody uses it. Ruby even sheepishly admits that she thought Raven was her only name. Raven herself has no issue with it, preferring her superhero name but understanding why Qrow would prefer to use Rachel instead.
  • When Jaune meets Jessica Cruz, there's some awkward silence before he tries to break the ice with his signature "The name's Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue. The ladies love it," before immediately regretting the cringey line. It does work in a goofy sort of way, with Jessica laughing and responding with her own version of it, even including a "The boys love it," at the end.
    • The two further hit it off due to the fact that Jessica is a massive nerd, with her first Green Lantern Construct of the story being a Keyblade, and admitting to having summoned X-Wing Starfighters in the past. Word of God confirms that Jessica's arsenal of constructs is basically just one big Pop Culture Osmosis.
  • It's been revealed that Jaune has been trying to help Willow learn how to cook, but every time he's around her, Nora always comes up with some excuse to pull him away. When Jaune presses her about her reasoning, she expresses concern that Jaune's tendency to attract single mothers might end up unwittingly cause him to seduce Willow and cause friction between the teams. This leads to a Big "WHAT?!" from a very gobsmacked Jaune.
    • An eavesdropping Jessica can barely keep her laughter beneath notice until Team JNPR leave.

Scooby-Doo and JNPR arc

  • When Nora saw the extent of Scooby and Shaggy's appetites, she challenged them to an eat off. Needless to say, she lost.
  • At some point, Nora decided to try the Scooby Snacks that were offered to her earlier by Scooby. When Penny pointed out that they were a brand of dog treats, Nora froze in shock for a couple of seconds... And then, shrugging her shoulders, just continued to eat them.
  • When being chased by the Elder One, Nora, Shaggy and Scooby trick him by acting like they're a film crew and the Elder One is auditioning for the part, only to tell him they don't think he fits the role. Nora admits that was one of the most fun things she's done.
  • And when the typical Scooby-Dooby Doors chase happens, Nora points out how weird it was.

    Hunters of Justice Chibi!
Intervention
  • J'onn J'onnz is addicted to Chocos cookies, an Oreo Expy, and the Justice League holds an intervention for him.
  • Prior to the intervention, Jaune gets buried in an avalanche of double-stuffed Chocos. Ruby's solution was to eat him out.
    • When Weiss chastised her for doing this, Ruby and Jaune both chewed her out for allowing the cookies to go to waste.
  • When the League bars J'onn from buying any more Chocos, he turns to an unlikely source: Nora, who's gone full drug dealer for the Martian Manhunter in exchange for coffee.

How Ruby Saved Christmas

  • Ruby helps Santa Claus deliver the last of the Christmas presents by using her Silver Eye powers as a flashlight.
  • Santa Claus' last stop forced him to drop Ruby back off at her home. His last stop was Apokolips, just to deliver Darkseid a lump of coal.

A Rose for Valentine's

  • Ruby learns what Valentine's Day is while she's trying to get a person to play a new fighting game with her (one that is heavily implied to be Mortal Kombat). She ends up going all-in on the subject, complete with chocolates and a bouquet of flowers.
    • She goes to Damian Wayne and gives him the gifts. Before she could finish asking her question the poor boy ran away completely embarrassed. Alfred takes a lot of enjoyment in the entire situation.
    • She then goes to Dick Grayson, who's currently on a date with Koriand'r, a.k.a. Starfire. He lets her down gently while Kori remarks about how cute it is that Ruby appears to have a crush on him.
    • She then goes to M'gann, only for M'gann to cut her off before any question can be asked due to a prior family obligation. She's delivering some Chocos to her uncle J'onn, who's still banned from having them due to his addiction. The scene plays out like a person handing off illicit drugs.
    • Finally, Batman himself surprises Ruby by asking why Damian's currently red-faced. As it turns out, Ruby just wanted someone to play the game with her, and when Selina Kyle texts how Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are holding her up, Batman ends up playing the game with her. He ends up winning and proceeds to purposefully end the game without a Fatality. Even in video games, Batman doesn't kill.

Planetary Options

  • RWBY and JNPR imagine what it would be like if they had landed on another planet besides Earth, including Tamaran, Mogo the Living Planet, Thanagar, New Genesis, and Apokolips. Hilarity ensues.
    • Tamaran: No one can understand each other until a Tamaranean kisses Yang squarely on the lips. At least according to Nora's imagination. Ruby refuses to hear why that might be the case.
    • Mogo the Living Planet: Mogo's practically a paradise in that he can modify himself to best suit the needs of whoever lives on him. That being said, them freaking out when he first announces himself is a sight to behold.
    • Thanagar: Dark humor mostly, given how RWBY JNPR ended up being conscripted into the Thanagarian army and sent to conquer other planets.
    • New Genesis: Before it can get anywhere, Nora completely cuts off Pyrrha's imagination, reasoning that without any conflict there the place would be boring.
    • Apokolips: Ruby tries to stop the scene transition, only to bear witness to the most horrid sight in the universe; Granny Goodness serving all of them sugar-free oatmeal raisin cookies.

Meditation

  • Raven tries to meditate when outside arguments keep interrupting her, causing her to get increasingly frustrated before she finally snaps and yells at all of them to stop, which they do.

Batcomputer Archive

  • During a log of training mishaps suffered by team RWBY, Weiss accidentally sets a wall on fire while testing an experimental replacement for fire dust. Cue the following:
    Weiss: What-?! Fire-! But-! RUBY!
Ruby: Oh god, it's the cake all over again!
Fire suppressant is deployed, completely covering the wall and the girls
    Batman: ...cake?

How The Joker Stole Christmas

  • The very premise is that Joker decides to play the part of the Grinch and steal everyone's presents, solely because Harley complained about him being grumpy.
    • They actually manage to steal the presents of everyone in Gotham City in a single night. Harley privately wonders how the heck they actually did that, but is too scared to ask.
    • Joker's scheme is foiled when he finds a life-sized statue of Batman. Baffled, he sees that it's addressed to himself, and instantly realizes it's not a statue.

The Cupid Shuffle

  • Aphrodite and Eros get so into Valentine's Day that ALL the other gods vamoose from Olympus that time of year.
  • The premise of the story is that Aphrodite tries to get romance blossoming among RWBYJNPR with her son Eros's help, even using the names that the RWBY fandom uses for the various ships, only for the young Remnantians to look at the wrong people at the last second.
    • He fired at Blake right as Jaune somehow spilled his cereal over himself, turning her away from Yang.
    • The arrow meant for Jaune hits Ruby because he moved at the last second... and she was looking at Pyrrha.
  • By the time Eros gets Diana to intervene, Aphrodite has devolved to such a level of shipping that she's covered her whole room in charts linked by red string trying to see if the new pairings make sense.

Kitchen Nightmares: Titan's Tower

  • Nightwing managed to get Gordon Ramsey to come to Titan's Tower and critique the cooking of some of his fellow heroes as revenge for laughing about Bat-Burger.
    • When playing the recording, Nightwing uses the censored version, both because Yang would grind him into powder if he let Ruby hear Gordon swearing, but because exposing a "pure marshmallow soul" like hers to that kind of language would be a one-way ticket to Hell. Ruby letting out an indignant "Hey" while everyone else nods just makes it funnier.
    • Ren has a dish of his critique, and he's so nervous that he has to use his Semblance to stay calm. Then, when Gordon likes his dish, he's so overwhelmed by the positive emotions that he faints.
    • When Jaune wonders why he wasn't invited, Nightwing reveals that he's got plans for him...

The Amazing Zatanna

  • Ruby gets rather miffed that Jaune gets called up to the stage instead of her, which Zatanna does by poofing him out of his seat, and he gets a cross look when he points out that he in no way volunteered.
  • After being cut in half, Jaune collapses after getting back to his seat.
  • Zatanna trying to pull a rabbit out of her hat somehow results in her pulling Velvet out, who is understandably very confused about what's going on. Then, before RWBYJNPR can stop her, Zatanna sends her back.
    • Zatanna's subsequent attempts to bring Velvet back just bring more and more regular bunnies, until she ends up with a "no more bunnies" sign.

The Main Event

  • A battle between the Gods of Light and Darkness and the Spectre... framed as a wrestling match.

Movie Night

  • Weiss and Ruby, surprisingly, get very into John Wick.
  • Jaune suggests Independence Day, thinking that it's a historical fiction or war drama from an actual invasion. Even Pyrrha is giving him a harsh look afterwards.
  • Yang falls asleep before the ending of Titanic, and is wondering why everyone's crying when she wakes up.

Dinner Rush

  • RWBYJNPR's stopped cooking dinner because Jaune gets enough food from the single moms that he meets to feed all of them.

Flipped Perspectives

  • This segment continues the "Freaky Friday" Flip humor.
    • Yang in Weiss's body has to through a hassle to get her mug, only for Weiss to grab hers effortlessly. Then Weiss walks into a cabinet door someone had left open because she isn't used to Yang's height.
  • Pyrrha being in Jaune's body is giving her ideas for improving their workouts, filling him with dread. Then he realizes that she can push his body to its limits today, and he'd be the one who'd be sore afterward.

Kringle's Angels

  • RWBYJNPR debating on whether they should even celebrate Christmas or not.
  • The Remnantians accidentally shoot down Santa Claus with their security system, forcing RWBY to deliver the remaining presents while JNPR takes care of Santa. Hilarity Ensues.
    • While Yang and Ruby love the thrill of the ride, Blake and Weiss scream in terror.
    • Nora goes full-blown Battleaxe Nurse, terrifying Santa and locking the rest of her team in the closet.
    • Blake gets chased by a dog while Yang delivers presents to a party by pretending it's part of the show.
    • Ruby eats pot cookies, enough said.
    • When it's their turn to deliver coal to Darkseid, the New God actually accepts it because he's impressed a group of kids did what he never could, defeat Santa. RWBY doesn't know how to feel.
  • When they return, Nora has been tied up and muzzled, with a group of elves pointing candy cane rifles at her.

Out With A Yang

  • Yang goes to find Bane to avenge Batman having his back broken three different times and she ends up laughing at Bane's raspy voice.
Bane: "Shut Up! I Have a Cold!"
  • Every time Yang breaks Bane's arm, she shouts "Out with a Yang!" Prompting Bane or someone else to respond "Who's Yang!?"
  • Just when it seems that Yang is about to break Bane's arm a fourth time, she tells him she's not going to cite Rule of Three. All of a sudden, Nora busts onto the scene, breaks Bane's legs, and says "Nora Away!"
    Bane: WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE!?

Cursed Innocence

  • It's a peaceful day for Penny and Yang while they relax in Metropolis' Centennial Park. Ducks are swimming in a pond, birds are chirping, and families enjoying themselves with no supervillains attacking... and then Yang asks Penny if she's ever cursed before. Hilarity Ensues.
    • At first, Penny thinks what Yang means by "cursing" is the magical version, so the blonde brawler has to give her the bad word talk and think of something not too vile when she's asked for an example.
    • As it turns out, Pietro apparently considered his daughter cursing and nipped that possibility in the bud by installing a profanity filter in her systems. Every time Penny tries to say "crap," out comes "crud."
    • Penny seemingly deletes that line of code... but either Pietro took additional precautions or something went wrong because now the curses come out as bleeps!
    • Having all the more desire to curse freely now, Penny goes to great lengths to find a solution for this restriction. First, she visits Victor, then Raven who erases the bleep function, only now nothing at all comes out. One week later, she's talked to a wise, immortal sage on a mystic mountain, collected crystals both there and not there in another dimension, went to Mount Olympus, asked Loki and later Salem for help, the latter of whom happily acquiesced when it seemed the problem was due to divine nature; in short:
Penny: So now, I can finally say what I want to say, and that it was complete and utter crap!
    • Unfortunately, a being so sweet and innocent as Penny swearing causes all of reality to collapse.
    • Flash races to undo the damage by going back in time to the moment Yang asks Penny that fiendish question and carries Yang screaming off into the horizon.
