• Yuta clearly was not ready for ready for Rex's over-the-top personality, as he looks distinctly uncomfortable as the latter insists that he tell him his name and enthusiastically "That's a good name!" when he does.
• Yuta's second bath scene prepare us for another scare... Only for a naked Koyomi to show up instead. Thinking the other is invading their bathroom ^note  Yuta's house is actually Koyomi's house in his home universe , both males are so scared by each other they can't help but scream for their moms. Mind you, Koyomi is around 30 years old.
  • It's similar to Gauma joining Yomogi in the bathtub in Episode 2 of DYNɅZENON, but even more awkward.
• Similar to Episode 2 of DYNɅZENON, Yomogi can't get any sleep thanks to the loud snoring of his roommates.
• The moment where Yomogi and Yume show each other their drawings of Gridman, only to immediately claim that the other's sucks, can be chuckle-worthy.
• When Yuta is describing Rikka and Utsumi's stage play to Gridman, there's a Funny Background Event where Borr is trying to kick Utsumi in the shin like in the original show, but the latter keeps moving his leg to dodge.
• Chise's reactions to Yuta, the Neon Genesis Junior High Students, and Rex all performing the Access Flash. While she's merely startled and spooked when Yuta does it, she completely freaks out when the latter two do it.
  Yuta: Access Flash!
  Chise: Eh? He went into the computer! You saw it?
  Koyomi: I'm scared...
  [...]
  Neon Genesis Junior High Students: Access Code: Gridman Calibur!/Battle Tracto Max!/Buster Borr!/Sky Vitter!
  Chise: Ehh!? Those guys as well! [...] What's going on?
  Rex: Access Code: Dynarex!
  Chise: *screams* The captain too!?
• Though Alexis Kerib's Heroic Sacrifice in and of itself isn't funny, the fact that not a single character buys the idea of him truly being dead is worth a laugh, considering he was a Consummate Liar throughout all of SSSS.GRIDMAN.
• While returning to their world, Yume wishes good luck to Yuta and Rikka. Yomogi has to remind her they're not in a relationship... yet:
  Yume: Huh? But they must be!
• Yomogi asks Yume if she wants to eat the crab Rex gifted him together, but she notes that it's for his family. His immediate reply is that that's why they should eat it together. Cue a massive Luminescent Blush from Yume.
