- During Hypno's songs, Girlfriend remains her Brainless Beauty self and has some rather amusing-looking poses, alternating between swaying back and forth and knuckle-walking, giving birth to the fan theory she's so used to sitting on her speakers that she has trouble standing and walking on her own. Canonically, however, this strange stance is a result of her feeling disoriented and lightheaded from Hypno's Mind Rape, making this into Fridge Horror.
- Why does Hypno transform into a Body Horror Eldritch Abomination in "Left Unchecked"? According to Word of God, it's because Girlfriend is so stupid, he had to overexert his psychic energy into his pendulum in order to affect her.
- If you lose against Hypno and choose to retry, Girlfriend's expression can be summed up as one of confused indignance towards Hypno.
- Before "Monochrome", a mysterious stranger wearing a trench coat offers you a free video game. If you don't select anything, they'll start awkwardly saying various things as they wait for you to decide, ranging from Passive Aggressive Combat to Breaking the Fourth Wall to just calling you ugly for no reason. And if you select "No", they just leave, skipping "Monochrome".
- He's back at it again in his shop in V2. If you take a while to hit buy or sell, he has nothing positive to say about you, your intellect or your looks.
- The Lost Silver cartridge he tried to give you is still free, but he's clearly frustrated that people turned him down before.
Shopkeeper: Oh now you want it? Make up your mind, you freak. - Most of the Unown messages seen in "Monochrome" are quite eerie or direct references to Lost Silver, such as "IM DEAD", "HOPELESS", and "NIGHTMARE"...and then there's a 1% chance of getting things like "NICE COCK", "SUS AF", and "WANNA WORK ON MY FNF MOD?" (the last of which is one of the hardest ones!).
- Hell Mode adds some new ones, including "SKILL ISSUE", "HES BRI ISH GET HIM" and "MAYBE TRY PUSSY MODE". Getting a game over from one of these is equal parts frustrating and hilarious.
- Speaking of "Monochrome", there's also the fact that Gold simply fades into the shadows after you lose. He doesn't Jump Scare you or show you a horrific image of what he does to Boyfriend... he just decides that he has had enough of your sub-par rapping and books it.
- Either that or BF had an offscreen Blueball and Gold just left BF to deal with… what happens to BF after a Blueball.
- Phantom Arcade, the creator of the base game, stated that, when BF gets a Blueball, GF gives him head.
- Either that or BF had an offscreen Blueball and Gold just left BF to deal with… what happens to BF after a Blueball.
- There exists an image drawn by Banbuds of Gold falling out of a wheelchair.◊ Poor guy.
- "Brimstone" is a straightforward battle between Boyfriend, Buried Alive and their respective Pokemon (Gengar, Muk and a White Hand for Buried Alive, Missingno for Boyfriend), but upon closer inspection, one of the tombstones in the background appears to have "Quandale Dingle" engraved on it.
- Pasta Night is a song in which Hypno... plays Uno with Lord X and MX. It has to be seen to be believed. The version shown in the released build has a ton of other Creepypasta characters messing around in the background, implying that this is a regular thing for them.
- On the topic of the new version, while Lord X and MX are actually playing Uno normally, Hypno is using Pokémon Cards instead. His poses during the song also show him being confused. For a Psychic-type Pokémon, he's the only one of the three to have no idea what he's doing in playing Uno.
- Before V2 was cancelled, there were supposed to be other characters that walked past in the background during the song. As one Twitter user discovered, one of these was going to be Gold floating past with balloons attached to his arm stumps. Even better, if you look closely on Gold's balloons (and know which Unown represents which letter), they say HI, despite his bloody state, he's just passing by for a quick greeting. Thankfully, the finished build reimplemented this.
- Losing in "Shinto" results in her pointing at Grey and laughing before running away very quickly complete with table slapping sounds.
- The item that unlocks the Shinto songs is a broken looking disc. Buying it results in a short cutscene where said disc is shoved into a Game Boy Color, complete with a "SUBALUWA!" when doing so with more force. And it works.
- The shopkeeper doesn't even want said disc, but finds it funny to make you pay for it regardless.
- Grey’s description in the Pokédex reveals that the developers of the character couldn’t be bothered to code him, so they trapped a dead kid’s soul in him and called it a day.
- The Freeplay icons are fifty fifty on taking things seriously or flat out making light of the songs.
- "Safety Lullaby" has Hypno staring into the screen, with a cheeky ":)" smile painted onto the silhouette of his face.
- "Lost Cause" features Hypno's final form staring down at you with the most un-terrifying, annoyed expression he can muster for being a mostly-severed head attached to a giant wad of organs.
- "Frostbite" has Red standing there stoically while giving Freakachu a piggyback ride, which it seems absolutely psyched for due to its permanent Slasher Smile.
- "Amusia" has DISABLED trying to practice while the Ponyta tries to stick with her like a supportive but realistically cynical friend.
- "Brimstone" has Buried Alive trying to pull himself loose from the rubble of the Pokemon Tower floor with a frustrated grimace as opposed to his Venom-esque gaping jaw and writhing tongue.
- "Monochrome" has the Unown being oddly cordial, simply spelling out "HELLO".
- "Shinto" features the titular lady busting a move, rotoscoped from a popular gif of Spongebob dancing.
- "Shitno" has Grey desperately trying not to make eye contact with Shinto as she wildly flails around behind him.
- If you turn on Botplay, you get a song exclusive message underneath the normal BOTPLAY message, a large majority of which are rather snarky towards the player:Safety Lullaby: you took the safety part too seriously
Left Unchecked: the pendulums not tweened anymore please
Lost Cause: youre the lost cause
Frostbite: these psych ports go crazy
Insomnia: did you fall asleep on your keyboard?
Monochrome: did you need more time to type?
Missingno: mew was under the truck
Brimstone: ge-ge-ge-get your hands back on the keyboard
Amusia: i am unamused
Dissension: why should I play fair?
Purin: do NOT stick your dick in those holes / hyperrealistic?
Death Toll: lmao are you scared of an old dude?
Isotope: we forgot to scrap it
Bygone Purpose: you should jump like alexis
Pasta Night (MX or Hypno): guess you got counterpicked
Pasta Night (Lord X): maybe the kiddie table is for you
Shinto: It's a her you fucking idiot
Shitno: you got cold feet - Amongst the concept art for Hypno's head in "Lost Cause", of all things, the head of Spamton G. Spamton is present there.
- The leaked build punishments, which starts with a very unpleased Glitchy Red giving you a "The Reason You Suck" Speech for playing the leaks and ruining the fun... before immediately switching into one of several joke songs meant to bully any poor sap who decided to play a leaked version of the mod. Special mention goes to "Googar", featuring Buried Alive attempting to tend to his Gengar (who's in a diaper for some reason). The end of the song has Buried Alive compare the player's forehead to a Wailord (even though his planned poses very much over-exaggerated his) before trying to shoo them out akin to a grumpy old man shooing people away from his property.Buried Alive: "Grr, shut up! This fuckin' diapered bastard is the ANTICHRIST!"
