• When the hospital goes berserk after Dr. Nookey accidentally rips the main electrical fuse out, complete with an exercise machine in the gym increasing speed, an oxygen pump blowing up a patient's belly, headphones connected to the radio short circuiting and a hoover dragging a cleaner around the wards.
• Dr. Nookey's little squeal when Goldie's revealed to be naked with hearts covering her intimate parts. And Matron's impatient look throughout the scene, coupled with her yelling through his stethoscope:
  Matron: Will you be wanting an X-ray, Doctor?
  Dr. Nookey: Pardon?
  Matron: DO YOU WISH AN X-RAY?!
• The reveal of Gladstone's sixth wife being Carver's secretary, Miss Fosdick.
• Long Hampton Hospital. Seeing as "Hampton Wick" is Cockney Rhyming Slang for a certain part of the male anatomy.
• Playing "Spot Diagnosis" on a patient walking into the waiting room leads to this:
  Shuffling Patient: Ah, let me see now... ah, you thought it was a slipped disc?
  Henry: Yeah, that's right.
  Shuffling Patient: I'm afraid you were wrong.
  Dr. Nookey: Ah!
  Shuffling Patient: And you thought it was haemorrhoids?
  Dr. Nookey: That's right.
  Shuffling Patient: I'm afraid you were wrong.
  Dr. Nookey: Well, what then?
  Shuffling Patient: As a matter of fact, I thought I was goin' to break wind... I'm afraid I was wrong.
• Dr. Nookey's drunken behaviour around the hospital.
• Dr. Stoppidge's disguise as Lady Puddleton, especially this exchange:
  Dr. Stoppidge: Wait! I can't share a room with a woman! What about undressing?
  Dr. Carver: Good heavens man, you're a doctor! She'll have nothing to surprise you!
