• Using the Down Thrust as Octavo. Unlike the Magic Music he normally attacks with, this attack has Octavo drop Lute-first onto the enemy.
• When you come across Trill as Octavo, they react with horror and accidentally gives you a tutorial on how to use the magic lute by describing its use.
• The brief internal monologues some characters have at the start of "Single-Character Mode". Yves, Impa, and Octavo are simply them saying that it's now up to them to save Hyrule. The others are more amusing though. Aria immediately blames her granddaughter for the situation and complains that she's getting too old for this, while Fredrick just wants to make money. Meanwhile, Shadow Link and Shadow Zelda don't even speak, with Trill instead shrieking in fear before realizing they want to help.
• Yves is incapable of using most of the items in the game. Because of this, if you take him to the Temple of Brainstorms, a dungeon that requires use of many items to solve the puzzles in it, the "dungeon" consists of three rooms: the entrance, the room with the staircase to the boss, and the room with the boss.
