• In ending B of "Abnormal Arms," you encounter a freak human-centipede monster, the further mutated form of the perverted caretaker from the apartment. Now consider that in ending A, the dead pervert has centipedes crawling all over him. What if you had found him later?
  • Along those lines, the key can get from him belongs to the school. Why exactly would he have this key?
• Ending A of "Beckoning Bulletin" has your character manage to convince the Voice of Humanity to back down on its Assimilation Plot by pointing out that if you died it would be impossible for it to claim everyone in the world in time before the Old God shows up—a BBS was hardly a common thing in the Eighties when the game takes place. However, it promises to come back for the player character later. Now, we live in a world where the BBS has given way to a much more thorough network of humanity—the Internet as we know it. What if the Voice of Humanity decided to come back, now that its job is so much easier?
• The soft drinks you can get become weirder the higher Doom gets, while the normal ones eventually disappear. One can only wonder who's doing that, and if the rest of the vending machines are also being tampered with.
• One event has you dine with a friend who has just returned from Africa, who offers you either a bottle of wine or a long pork steak. The wine is normal, but the pork inflicts the Hunger curse on you when you consume it - and considering what "long pork" is often slang for, it's all but stated that you just ate human flesh. And the dinner at your uncle's funeral in "Vicious Verses of a Violent Vigil" serves it too. Where in the hell is all this human meat coming from?
