Fridge Brilliance

  • Bordering on Fridge Horror, there's a reason the Bishop had Navarre and Isabeau cursed at different times, not just to keep them apart. Navarre is human by day because he's a wanted man in broad daylight. And Isabeau is only human at night because... well, you know. Otherwise, it would defeat the purpose of having her if she became a hawk every night.
  • When Imperius tells Navarre that there will be a solar eclipse ("day without a night, night without a day") in a few days, the latter thinks he's insane, with good reason. For one, solar eclipses were scientifically established and were predictable even then. In addition, there was a full moon the night before, making it impossible for there to be any sort of eclipse for at least two weeks (since solar eclipses only happen on a new moon.) It's also why the Bishop is completely unconcerned about Navarre and Isabeau showing up, since he also knew there couldn't possibly be a solar eclipse on that Sunday. However, Imperius stated it was a divine vision, and so it was God himself who shadowed the sun (whether with the moon or anything else).
