The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave is a 2000 comedy film spin-off of the Super Dave sketches from the eponymous series as well as the earlier sketch show Bizarre. Directed by Peter MacDonald, the film stars Bob Einstein, Art Irizawa, Don Lake, and Mike Walden as their characters Super Dave Osborne, Fuji Hakayito, Donald Glantz, and Mike Walden, along with Gia Carides, Dan Hedaya, and Steve Van Wormer.

Following a disastrous stunt failure during New Year’s Eve of 1999, Super Dave decides to retire. Things get worse when he finds out that his manager has fled the country with his savings, aggravating his financial problems that has led to him selling off parts of the legendary Super Dave Compound. He soon meets Sandy and her son Timmy, whose heart condition leads him to accept an offer from his arch-nemeses, sleazy promoter Gil Ruston and Dave’s turncoat protege DJ, to come out of retirement for one last stunt that will raise enough money for Timmy’s heart operation, despite his legendary klutziness working against him.

The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave contains examples of:

  • Amusing Injuries: A guarantee when the world’s klutziest daredevil is involved.
  • Brick Joke: Throughout the film after the fireworks mishap, the fire engine can constantly be seen riding past the compound to put out the fire. At the end, it turns out that Super had Ruston and DJ assigned to it as punishment instead of jail.
  • The Cameo: Michael Buffer, Evander Holyfield, John Elway, and Ray Charles appear as themselves, game show host Peter Tomarken appears unbilled as the host of the Slammy Whammy informercial, Mike Connors is Grandpa Osborne, and Billy Barty is the eulogist at his funeral at the beginning of the film.
  • Fartillery: After eating a highly filling (and heavy in fiber) meal made by Sandy, Super excuses himself to the hospital restroom to decide whether to do the stunt or not, where he unleashes what can only be described as the Fat Man or Little Boy of farts, leaving parts of the hospital in ruins.
  • Gassy Gastronomy: Sandy (Super Dave Osborn's girlfriend) gives him a lunch that she made herself, extremely healthy... and composed of about half a ton of Brussels sprouts. A few minutes later in the same scene, Super Dave is indisposed and goes to the bathroom and cuts with a massive fart that wrecks the whole floor like it had been hit by a hurricane and tosses people dozens of feet backwards.
  • Groin Attack: The unfortunate outcome of Super endorsing the Slammy Whammy Golf Club and having to do the “Super Dave Ball-in-the-Mouth Shot.”
