Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

- Synopsis: After a mishap involving a heist to refill Hammy's cookie stash, RJ and Hammy are captured by scientists and taken to an animal testing lab. The story revolves around their attempts to escape, as well as the other Hedgies' attempt to rescue them. Pairings are the two canon ones (Penny/Lou and Tiger/Stella), Ozzie/OC, OC/OC, past Tiger/OC, and RJ/Hammy in the sequel.
- Comments: The fic also has a sequel, Only a Dream, which is also completed. The fics are darker than the original movie, containing, in the story synopsis's words, action violence, mild torture and some language for the first story and heavy violence, angst, and nightmare scenarios (including character death) for the sequel. However, neither oversteps a T rating. Both fics contain OCs, although the story still mainly focuses on RJ and Hammy, with some exceptions.

Who will finally be able to know what Spuddies taste like? Will the can stay behind the Hedge? Find out here! T for some slightly adult themes.
- Comments: A little adventure featuring the characters trying to figure out what Spuddies taste out. It's quite funny, matching much of the snarky humor involved.
