Rehabilitation of Death by Bamsara-Recommended by; Achillea Ow O-Status:Ongoing-Synopsis: <p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.7999999999999998;background-color:#333333;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;padding:0pt 0pt 15pt 0pt;"><span id="docs-internal-guid-abafccf9-7fff-66fd-4415-9cdc077bcaa5" style="font-weight:normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; white-space-collapse: preserve;">Something goes wrong. The crown is split during Narinder's defeat, splitting the power between him and the Lamb.<p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.7999999999999998;background-color:#333333;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;padding:0pt 0pt 15pt 0pt;"><span id="docs-internal-guid-abafccf9-7fff-66fd-4415-9cdc077bcaa5" style="font-weight:normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; white-space-collapse: preserve;">Narinder keeps a portion of his godhood, and the Lamb finds that abilities they had access to before are no longer possible: Healing is cut short. Powers are halved. And there is a very real chance of perma-death, as the ability to resurrect is not possible without full power, and the God of Death is not cooperative.<span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; white-space-collapse: preserve;">Afterlife and Purgatory are not options either. Dying means erasure. Gone.<p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.7999999999999998;background-color:#333333;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;padding:0pt 0pt 15pt 0pt;"><span id="docs-internal-guid-abafccf9-7fff-66fd-4415-9cdc077bcaa5" style="font-weight:normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; white-space-collapse: preserve;">Lambert knows Narinder grows stronger by the day, crown or not, and yet keeps him spared as they try to figure out how to complete their own goals. Narinder vows vengeance on the lamb for usurping him. After a few unsuccessful murder attempts, he's in for the long haul. It is only a matter of time before the Lamb's guard is down before he can strike, and The One Who Waits is very patient. When a mystic being demands they save the bishops from purgatory, an alliance is in order.<p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.7999999999999998;background-color:#333333;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"><span id="docs-internal-guid-abafccf9-7fff-66fd-4415-9cdc077bcaa5" style="font-weight:normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; white-space-collapse: preserve;">Except...the lamb's actions and their presence begin to unlock abilities within the God of Death he didn't know he had prior to his imprisonment, among other fickle things, like emotions. The prophecy didn't warn him of that part.<div>

  • Synopsis: The Lamb makes a very important pilgrimage.
  • Comments: A short but wonderfully sad one shot that digs deeper into the Lamb's motivations in serving 'The One Who Waits', putting forth an interesting interpretation of the character themself.

A Lamb In Hell By That_Guy_Who_Writes

  • Recommended by: th3w1t3r
  • Status: ongoing
  • Crossover with: Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss
  • Trope Page: A Lamb In Hell
  • Synopsis: There is always a sense of wonder when one reaches theirs goals, especially if said goals seemed impossible. Getting revenge after a lifetime of wrong, standing at the top of a company after starting as a janitor. Accomplishing such things leaves one soaring high in their lives until a single question blindsides them. What now? That was the question that plagued the Lamb after his triumph over heretics and death alike. His cult thrived and expanded, his word second to none and his reign absolute over the land. Yet countless years spent nurturing and appeasing his flock has left him weary and eager for an opportunity to forego his responsibilities for the briefest of moments. The Lamb knew this was nigh impossible, for what cult could function without a leader? Despite knowing this, he still prayed for a break from his taxing work. Until one day, his prayers were answered in the form of a weathered grimoire.
  • Comments: This fic absolutely nails the dark comedy feel of the properties it's crossing over with, making the lamb's character and excellent balance of cute and psychotic befitting of his depiction in the game. Not to mention some great humor, cool action sequences, and tons and tons of potential. I look forward to seeing where this one goes.
