These are recommendations made by Tropers for Critical Role fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found here.
You can also add to the current recommendations if you want. Refrain from posting Conversation in the Main Page though; that goes in the discussion page. No-name recommendations will be zapped. Nobody would back up the rec. Discussion of the recommendation is welcome on the discussion page. As such discussion is important, do remember to add the discussion page to the watchlist, if need be.
Do warn when a fanfic may head into non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is Serious Business.

- His CR fic is mostly Molly/Caleb, one really excellent Beau/Jester one-shot, and a currently in-progress Caduceus/Caleb one that's honestly one of the best things I've ever read. He really does an amazing job of capturing the characters' voices and personalities, and the general settings and moods of his stories are just fantastic.

- Synopsis: The Xhorhasian infiltration of Felderwin fails, but Yeza's still missing. All signs point to Rexxentrum - there, the Mighty Nein are captured and made unwilling students of the Soltryce Academy. The scattered Nein scramble to find each other, find Yeza, and find a way to get them all out of Rexxentrum alive. A slow-burn thriller diverging from canon episode 49 onwards, with great political worldbuilding and a suspenseful plot.

- Synopsis: Caduceus is chosen for the 68th Hunger Games. Miraculously, he survives.
- Notes: This is a Hunger Games AU, but one of the best I've ever read. Even if you're not a fan of AU's I'd recommend you give this one a shot.

- Synopsis: Caleb is considered one of the odd teachers at the Soltryce Academy. He tells fantastical tales that have no chance of ever being true. He's way too interested in theoretical transmutation to actually do any of the things he talked about.
- Notes: A story of a group of students in the Soltryce Academy who have Caleb as their teacher. Sweet, post canon.
Sojourn (the house that caleb built) by Mikkeneko

- Synopsis: When the Mighty Nein find themselves stranded in the middle of a journey, Caleb tries out a new spell for his friends – Mordenkainen’s Magnificent Mansion. All seems well at first, until Caduceus wakes up in the middle of the night with the Wildmother’s warning ringing in his ears to find the mansion hideously changed and Caleb… gone. The Mighty Nein must race the clock as they delve deeper into the shattered, warped mansion to find their friend and bring him home.
- Notes: Written before Caleb's canon Mansion and looking forward at that point, but focusing on team-as-family trying to get themselves out of danger.

- Synopsis: In which the voice(s) in Percy's head couldn't be more different, but the more things change, the more they stay the same. An AU retelling of the Briarwoods arc, where instead of having made an accidental deal with a demon, Percy has had the burden of being an aasimar thrust upon him.
- Notes: Light body horror and angst warning. An interesting race change AU, where Percy is a late-blooming Scourge Aasimar instead of possessed by Orthax (though the demon does make an appearance...). Diverges from canon during the first encounter with the Briarwoods. Fascinating lore and power descriptions, supportive Vox Machina, particularly Vex.

- Notes: A very, very long (currently just shy of 1 million words) Everybody Lives canon-divergence AU of campaign 2. The plot is strongly character-driven, with attention paid to D&D mechanics as the characters level up - if you finished campaign 2 and want to start it over like an RPG to play a different route, this is that fic. It incorporates characters and settings from campaign 1 and other Exandria-based one-shots.
