The Imperial Saber by Marutectz552

  • Recommended by: Mr Terrorist
  • Status: Dormant; last updated June 2020
  • Summary: An alternative universe fanfic where Tatsumi is the leader of the Saber Legion, considered by many as the Token Good Teammate army of the Empire unlike most of their counterparts who are evil, corrupt or cruel. Tatsumi is very loyal to the Empire and the Emperor and wants to reform it back to it's good days before Honest and his corrupt cronies ruined the Empire. He also becomes the target of interest for both Esdeath and Night Raid, who each have their own plans for him.

Akame Ga Kiru: Alliance by Kenryo81

  • Recommended by: Mr Terrorist
  • Status: Dead (last updated December 2016)
  • Summary: A fanfic that's funny, heartwarming and full of action. The fanfic begins when Najenda tells the Revolutionary Army that Esdeath is in love with Tatsumi which they use by offering Tatsumi to Esdeath if she and her army defect to their side. To everyone's surprise it works where Esdeath and her army launch a Coup D'etat at the capital, kill Prime Minister Honest and open peace talks with the Revolutionary Army! With the civil war over and the Empire reformed, Night Raid and the Jaegers join forces to become an Anti-Teigu Task Force to hunt down those loyal to Honest where both teams develop friendships, romance and forgiveness with each other. However, an ancient evil has awoken which threatens the Empire's new peace which both Night Raid and the Jaegers must work together to stop.

Alternate Worlds by HemingwayisBOSS

  • Recommended by: Mr Terrorist
  • Status: Dormant (last updated March 2017)
  • Summary: A Deconstruction fanfic about the relationship between Esdeath and Tatsumi, showing how much of an abusive relationship it is to have with a partner who's a Blood Knight Social Darwinist. Another unique plotpoint for the story is the fact Sayo and Ieyasu are still alive and have joined Night Raid and the reunion between Tatsumi, Sayo and Ieyasu. Moreso, Mine is killed off by Seryu shortly after meeting Tatsumi, letting Sayo inherit Pumpkin.
    • You think that's unique? How 'bout this: Tatsumi and Esdeath are related in this story, being either cousins or half-siblings!

Killing Your Dark Future by JTZ29

  • Recommended by: Mr Terrorist
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Pairings: Tatsumi/Harem
  • Summary: A great fanfic to read with action and a Harem. Before his arrival to the capital, Tatsumi gets visions of the future where he witnesses the deaths of his Night Raid comrades including his own death from the anime. Unsure but aware something horrible will happen, Tatsumi vows to become stronger to prevent the visions from coming true. As a result of his actions, Sayo survives and Akame, Leone and Mine falls in love with him. Some chapters are NSFW as it features Tatsumi being intimate with his harem.

Kill the Second Chance by FireWolf674

  • Recommended by: Mr Terrorist
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Pairings: Tatsumi/Harem, Wave/Kurome, Lubbock/Najenda
  • Summary: Tatsumi dies, but meets a primordial being who gives him a chance to return to the past and Set Right What Once Went Wrong. With this, he trains and gets stronger, and receives an awesome Teigu for his troubles. As a result he manages to save Sayo, who later becomes part of his harem, along with Sheele. Even more surprising is that he saved Spear, who was revealed and promptly killed in one chapter/episode, and she became part of the harem as well. The author even showed a list of future harem mates for Tatsumi, and shows that Wave and Lubbock will be shipped with their love interests as well.

Crossover Fics

A Double Kills the Devil's Sins by Demon War God

  • Recommended by: Critica 7
  • Status: Active
  • Crossover with: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
  • Summary: Vinegar Doppio had died in Rome and now finds himself in a world full of corruption and depravity. But, this gives him a new purpose: to tear the Empire from the inside out the only way a gangster knows how. All in order to redeem himself of Diavolo's crimes and atrocities.
  • Comments: This fic has yet to reach the point of being great, but it has potential. Doppio is competent but not to a worrying degree, and the new Passione is just getting off the ground, so there's potential for some actual stakes here. Besides, we need more Doppio fics.

Metal Ga Kill Rising by trvn

  • Recommended by VictorioMWolff-Haddock
  • Status: Complete
  • Crossover with: Metal Gear
  • Summary: After a mission gone wrong Raiden has found himself at the Capital of the empire. it is there that Raiden has decided to dedicate his time and energy to fighting the corruption and protecting the weak. Will Raiden succeed or will the empire be too much the Raiden to handle? only time will tell.
  • Comments: Despite his overwhelming power level, Raiden is sufficiently challenged in this new world. Plus, Esdeat is more obviously, glaringly evil than canon.

Assassin - Number 47 by Tekihunter

  • Crossover with Hitman
  • Recommended by: VictorioMWolff-Haddock
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Synopsis: As far as Night Raid knows, Tatsumi is a blank slate. With little memories of his past, there's not much to get a good understanding of him. The only things they know are that he's often closed off and he possesses hyper-competent skills in silent assassinations. So competent that he can complete missions impossible to be done alone. Who is he? And how does he possess such skills?
  • Comments: Tatsumi as Agent 47 shook most of the Night Raid for his method & cold, calculating demeanor, including how she broke Seryu with just words.

  • Crossover with Warhammer 40,000
  • Recommended by: VictorioMWolff-Haddock
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Synopsis: The world is filled with corruption. Words runs as they descend. Some claim about salvation and justice from the heavens, yet others don't share such hope.
  • Comments: The Imperium of Man enters the story, and the world is forced to change, including Tatsumi who got "recruited" to the Charcarodons.

  • Recommended by: VictorioMWolff-Haddock
  • Crossover With: Ben 10
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Synopsis: Young Ben Tennyson finds himself falling into a universe that is overrun with corruption and evil. The laws of this land are to kill or be killed, Ben's morals will be put to the test as this corrupt world throws everything it has at him.
  • Comments: Akame Ga Kill fics always forcefully try to make the other half of the crossover join the Night Raid immediately. Not this time, baby! While Ben sees The Empire as corrupt, he's also sees the Night Raid as no better than them.
