Tropes from The Lion, The Witch, and The Fairy's Tail
  • Berserk Button:
    • Threatening their true companions is this for Fairy Tail wizards.
    • Lions, particular Aslan, are this for the White Witch. Lucy exploits this by summoning Loke, a lion Celestial Spirit
  • Call-Back:
    • The portal to Narnia is initially compared to an Anima from Edolas.
    • During the final battle, the White Witch reveals to Natsu that she came from another world that she destroyed. This is the same past she spoke of in The Magician's Nephew.
  • Compressed Adaptation: The events of The Horse and His Boy take place in a single chapter.
  • Crossover: A bonus chapter has the Narnias from the fanfiction and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe combine, with both protagonists working together to restore their worlds.
  • Decomposite Character: The different Christmas Gifts the Pevensie children got in the book are split among the protagonists.
    • Peter's sword is given to Erza while his shield goes to Gray.
    • Susan's bow is for Lucy while her horn is for Erza.
    • Lucy Pevensie's Healing Cordial goes to Lucy Heartfilia while her dagger is given to Happy.
  • Forced into Evil: Mr. Tumnus like in the books. The justice system set up by Gray revealed many Narnians were forced to work for the Witch.
  • Loophole Abuse:
    • The White Witch tries to invoke the Deep Magic to claim Happy as a traitor, since he revealed the Beavers' dam where the heroes were hiding and unwittingly caused the events that lead Lucy to be petrifiednote . However, the other Fairy Tail wizards point out that Happy believed that she and the White Witch were different people, and only came to her castle to warn her about the tyrant. Furthermore, he also told her about the others staying at the dam because he thought she was worried about his friends. By all accounts, the Witch is the true traitor for deceiving Happy in the first place. Flustered, she is forced to leave Aslan's camp while the heroes cheered in joy.
    • Before they leave, Aslan tells the heroes that they must depart with the gifts they recieved from Santa in Narnia, as they are of that world. However, because Natsu's chainmail was made in Earthland, it can return with him.
  • Manipulative Bitch: The White Witch takes advantage of Happy's naivety when he first arrives to Narnia, making herself look like a kind woman so he'd spill everything he knows about his teammates and his world.
  • Pals with Jesus: Loke has meet Santa Claus before, even calling him "North" casually. Santa has also met Igneel in the past and brought Natsu a chainmail armor made from the dragon's shed scales.
  • Point of Divergence: Since the Witch fails to claim Happy as a traitor, Aslan does not have to sacrifice his life like he did with Edmund. Instead, he heads straight into the Witch's castle to free all of her petrified victims, while the Fairy Tail wizards lead the army of Narnia against the White Witch's forces.
  • One-Steve Limit: Averted with Lucy Heartfilia and Lucy Pevensie during the crossover bonus chapter.
  • Right in Front of Me: Played for Drama. When Happy hears about the White Witch and how she arrested Mr. Tummus for helping Lucy, he flies off to warn the nice lady that helped him when he first came to Narnia. It's only after he is locked up that he realized the woman is the White Witch herself.
  • Storming the Castle: The heroes do this after learning that the woman Happy went to help was actually the White Witch. They end up destroying much of her home in the process.
  • Take a Third Option: Aslan tells the heroes that Narnia will not rest until a Child of Man is on the throne of Cair Paravel. However, they have responsibilities and live back in their own world. Knowing the people of Narnia still needs them, they decide to stay for three years to set up the foundation of a council to rule in their steed after they return.
  • Taken for Granite: Lucy is turned to stone by the White Witch while protecting Natsu. Thankfully she is turned back to normal by Aslan.

When they learn from Trumpkin how Telmar tricked the council of Narnia and then poisoned them centuries ago, the Fairy Tail wizards are shaken at the parallels to their own Council's death.
  • Mistaken for Romance: A Future Imperfect example where Narnia's history records Natsu and Lucy as married during their reign.
  • Point of Divergence: Since the Fairy Tail wizards reach Caspian and the other Narnians earlier, Nikabrik couldn't call his dark magic allies to resurrect the White Witch. Instead, he tricks a Telmarine soldier into using a cursed dagger to protect themselves against death by the Narnians. This leads the Telmarine that used it to turn into Ice Golems meant to destroy themselves.
