The story is that Lincoln decides to audition for the new reality TV show in Canada known as Total Drama Island and much to his surprise, he gets the only spot for an American. He ends up making new friends, gaining the interest of a of the girls there but there is one contestant who is scheming…
- Adaptational Badass: Ezekiel who in canon always got eliminated first; manages to stick on and gets to show more of his own skills. It’s to the point where he actually manages to win Total Drama Island!
- Adaptational Jerkass: LINDSAY who turns out to be a schemer.
- Age Lift: As in its inspiration; Lincoln has grown older to 16 and the Revenge of the Island cast in the fic are thus aged along with the characters who were first generation contestants.
- Beware the Nice Ones: As soon as Zoey starts to torment Lindsay and Lindsay is voted off, Gwen, Dawn, Lincoln and Ezekiel are frightened at her new attitude to the point they form an alliance just to snap her back to normal.
- Big Bad: Lindsay. Even after being eliminated; her actions still have effects as the campers have to contend with Commando Zoey was only like that thanks to Lindsay..
- Big Bad Wannabe: Heather goes for her scheming from the show but ends up eliminated first thanks to Lindsay the true Big Bad telling everyone what she had said about the other contestants on the cruise ship there.
- Crossover Couple: Lincoln with Gwen & Dawn.
- Disc-One Final Boss: Lindsay ends up having her true colours revealed after the merger and eliminated in the next challenge, to be replaced by Commando Zoey.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Lindsay turns out to be one in this verse.
- Dumbass Has a Point: Ezekiel's idea of an alliance to help Zoey. Plus all of them gulp as he realise that had Lindsay stayed longer, Zoey could’ve ended up killed her.
- Forgotten First Meeting: It turns out Lincoln and Dawn had both met eachother when they were 9; Lincoln was on a road trip and Dawn visiting the US with her family. They were actually each other’s first kiss.
- Mythology Gag: There are references to the original pitch for Total Drama Island called Camp TV from the title to Lindsay (albeit named Heather in the pitch) being the Big Bad.
- Oh, Crap!: Gwen, Dawn, Lincoln and Ezekiel gulp as they realise that Lindsay staying longer would be an early grave for her.
- Shipper on Deck: Cody, Ronnie Anne & Lucy for Lincoln/Gwen while Lori, Rosa (despite still wishing that Ronnie Anne could have gotten with him before), Lily, CJ & Carlitos supports Lincoln/Dawn.
- Villainous Breakdown: Chapter 23 has Lindsay ending up ranting after losing the race and the Humiliation Conga that she had suffered through the entire chapter. This ends up biting her in the ass as she ends up revealing her plans and her real self.
