is a The Owl House fanfic in which Luz finds her way to the Demon Realm seven years early, and ends up developing a brotherly relationship with Hunter. Eventually, she ends up kidnapping him for his own safety.
The work contain examples of:
- Covered with Scars: What prompts Luz to abduct Hunter is seeing the mess of scars left on his body when he removes his shirt.
- The Kindnapper: Luz basically kidnaps Hunter in the name of helping him, having seen the consequences of Belos raising him. She's nonetheless aware that it's an horrendous betrayal of his trust.
- Like Brother and Sister: In this story Luz and Hunter have a sibling-like relationship.
- Loophole Abuse: Hunter justifies his friendship with Luz by claiming she's not a wild witch yet — if you keep refusing to join a coven at your eighteenth birthday, that's when you deserve the label, and Luz is only fifteen.
- Point of Divergence: The story's main divergence from canon is that Luz gains access to the Demon Realm seven years earlier than in canon, and Hunter gains Flapjack six years sooner as a result.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Hunter is fully aware of Eda's dislike for the Golden Guard and reciprocates, but insists them being at each other's throats will only turn Luz miserable.
