  • Take a drink whenever a character exclaims "For real?!". Take another whenever Joker tells someone to "Calm down."
    • If you're feeling hardcore, also include the times when you hear that phrase in the background chatter.
    • Take two if it was Ryuji.
  • Take a drink whenever Morgana prevents you from doing any nighttime activities (besides feeding the plant), even though you didn't go to a Palace or Mementos that day. Vanilla P5 only.
  • Take a drink whenever the game cuts back to Sae's interrogation.
  • Take a drink whenever adults are mentioned in a negative context.
  • Take a drink every time you get caught in a Palace, causing the security meter to raise. Down the bottle if it gets to 100%, thus getting kicked out of the Palace for the day (Vanilla P5), or simply take a shot if it's the day of the heist (Royal).
  • Take a drink if you've run out of lockpicks and have to backtrack to a locked chest later.
  • Take a drink whenever a Treasure Shadow appears.
    • If you're forced to use Down Shot to commence the Hold Up, down a shot.
    • Take another drink if you're forced to give up a Persona so you can recruit the Treasure Shadow.
  • Take a drink every time you want to punch Sugimura in the face. Only do it when he's on screen and advance the dialogue after a drink, or else you might end up being so drunk you punch the screen next time you see him. Cognitive!Sugimura does not count.
  • Take a drink every time you do a Baton Pass.
    • Royal only: Count the number of consecutive Baton Passes you do in a turn rotation. If you get to a quadruple Baton Pass, you drink nothing since your skills are free. Otherwise, take drinks equal to the number of Baton Passes you've done.
  • Take a sip each time Harisen Recovery triggers.
    • Upgrade that to a drink if it cures Hunger during Okumura's boss battle. Drink again if this leads to a party member dying to Big Bang Challenge.
    • Down a shot instead if this removes a normally incurable ailment, like those inflicted by the Final Boss.
  • Take a drink whenever Futaba does Moral Support. Three drinks instead if she raises all your party's stats!
  • Take a drink if Futaba performs a Position Hack which gets you out of an enemy ambush.
  • Take a drink every time you confuse a Mementos target.
  • Negotiation:
    • Take a drink if you get one favored (yellow notes) and one neutral (blue sweat drops) response while talking to a Shadow, but it still doesn't join you.
    • When repeatedly extorting money or items (i.e. selecting "You can do better than that."), count the number of times you succeed in a row. If you anger the Shadow during extortion, drink that many shots. You don't drink anything if you cancel the negotiation yourself.
    • Take a drink if a Shadow gives you a Devil Fruit or Life Stone. Take two instead if the dialogue option was "Show me the goods."
    • Take a drink if a party member is taken hostage. Take another if you let that party member die.
    • Finish your drink if an angered Shadow ends up killing you.
    • Sip if a party member intervenes to let you retry a failed negotiation.
  • During Valentine's Day, take a drink for every girlfriend you anger.
    • Finish your drink if you angered all nine or ten of them.note 
    • Alternatively, if you aren't a cheater, enjoy a glass of wine as Joker enjoys a romantic evening with his beloved.
    • Double alternatively, down a shot in sympathy if you're still single by Valentines Day.
  • Royal only: Take a drink whenever anyone passes their turn in the Tycoon minigame in the Thieves' Den.
  • Royal only: Take a drink every time Kasumi apologizes.
    • Take a drink every time Kasumi becomes as red as a tomato.
      • Take two if it was because you picked a dialogue option with 'love' in it, or if it's happening during the romantic variant of her Rank 9 event.
  • Royal only: Take a drink anytime Akechi comments on how intriguing, interesting, or impressive you or something you did was.
    • Take another drink if it was an unwarranted compliment.
  • Royal: Take a drink if you failed to defeat one of Okumura's robots within two turns during his much harder boss fight.
    • Take another drink if you managed to go over the time limit in the battle forcing you to start the fight all over again.
  • Take a drink every time the Reaper shows up.
    • Take another if he catches you.
      • Take yet another if he kills you.
    • Pause the game, grab a bottle of whiskey, and down half of it to calm your nerves if he catches you, but you manage to escape. Finish the bottle if you make it to another floor of Mementos.
    • Take a drink of celebratory champagne if you kill him.
    • Pour one out for the Reaper if he dies from Despair during Flu Season. (This only works in vanilla P5.)
    • Quit the game and sober up if you exploit the instant revival function of Safe difficulty just to farm the Reaper, ya pansy!
  • Royal Only: Do the following whenever Mementos has the following scenarios happen.
    • Drink until you're blackout drunk whenever Mementos is pitch black.
    • Down a drink if Morgana, and by extension you and your teammates, falls into a pitfall.
    • Drink several shots in quick succession if the Reaper shows up early to calm your nerves.
