Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation: Mo Dao Zu Shi will make you feel like drinking at some point, either because the main character loves to drink or because a character or story arc is so depressing that you need to take a swig to make yourself feel better.
Take a sip whenever:
- Wei Wuxian calls Lan Wangji by his birth name. Take two if he calls him by his title. Take a whole shot when he calls him by his courtesy name.
- Lan Wangji says "Wei Ying". Take a shot if he says "Wei Wuxian" instead.
- Jiang Cheng says Wei Wuxian's name.
- Jiang Cheng loses his temper. Take two if it has something to do with Wei Wuxian.
- Jin Guangyao either says "Er-ge" (Second Older Brother) or "Da-ge" (Eldest Brother).
- Lan Xichen says "A-Yao".
- Either Jiang Yanli or Jiang Fengmian says "A-Xian" or "A-Cheng".
- Wei Wuxian offends someone.
- Wei Wuxian reacts to a dog.
- Lan Jingyi sasses someone.
- Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji have a misunderstanding about their feelings for each other.
- The cultivation world is acting like hypocritical idiots.
- Nie Huaisang says "I don't know." If he says it three times in a row, take a shot instead.
- Anyone calls Wei Wuxian by his title.
- Lan Qiren is about to have an embolism over Wei Wuxian.
- Yu Ziyuan gets her undergarments in a wad over Wei Wuxian or the rest of her family.
- Jiang Fengmian fails to engage in proper communication with his family.
- Lan Xichen becomes defensive of Jin Guangyao.
- Wen Ning stutters in his sentences, but take a shot instead for the times when he doesn't stutter.
- Nie Mingjue gets hot-headed over Jin Guangyao.
Take a shot whenever:
- A named character dies. Yes, Wei Wuxian counts. And yes, as long as they're introduced with only either a family name or a birth name, they count too.
- Lan Wangji has a drink with Wei Wuxian.
- Lan Wangji uses the Silencing Spell on someone.
- Lan Wangji throws the shade. Two if it's at Wei Wuxian's expense.
Take a tall glass when:
- Either Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji, Jiang Cheng, or Jin Ling starts to cry.
Other
- Pour the entire glass or bottle's contents into your mouth whenever Wei Wuxian does that with a jar of Emperor's Smile.
