Stephen Furst, born Stephen Nelson Feuerstein (May 8, 1954 – June 16, 2017), was an American actor and director best known for portraying Kent "Flounder" Dorfman in Animal House and Vir Cotto in Babylon 5.
His wife since 1976, Lorraine Wright, was an entertainment lawyer. Their two sons, Nathan and Griff, are a composer and an actor, respectively.
Furst died in 2017 at age 63 due to complications related to diabetes.
