Her work contains examples of:
- Ascended Extra: The Quintesson Evil Sorcerer known as The Red Wizard from The Transformers Season 3 episode "Madman's Paradise" becomes a major antagonist in The Big Capture of 1999-2006.
- Ax-Crazy: Galvatron in the early part of The Big Capture of 1999-2006. He gets better. Also in Slimer in the Machine. He doesn't get better and it's not in Sheba's main fanficverse.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Megatron. Particularly evident in The Big Capture of 1999-2006 when we find out he's Sheba's adoptive father from prior to the Great War, and in the collaboration Shadow of the Guardian co-written by Conveyus-Prime.
- Expy: Elder Prime was based off the entity in the Matrix of Leadership that told Optimus Prime how to cure the Hate Plague in "The Return of Optimus Prime Part 2".
- Faking the Dead: In The Big Capture of 1999-2006 it is discovered that The Quintessons replaced a number of Autobots and Decepticons with identical clones, similar to the plot device in the Season 2 Episode "A Prime Problem", shortly prior to the events of The Transformers: The Movie.
- Mega Crossover: Several works have incorporated The Transformers with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983), She-Ra: Princess of Power and Final Fantasy.
- Multiform Balance: Sheba's magic is stronger in her organic form, but weaker in her robotic mode. However, in robotic form she can survive in space and has other advantages.
- My God, What Have I Done?:Megatron, when he realizes how many times he nearly destroyed the Earth, right along with Sheba, who he had promised to protect, before he knew she was on Earth, in The Big Capture of 1999-2006. Not only that, the only reason Sheba is still alive is because of Optimus Prime and the Autobots foiling his plans. Leads to a complete Heel–Face Turn.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Galvatron in The Big Capture of 1999-2006 causes damage to a Quintesson vessel in a violent berserk rage, which unknown to him, is holding Sheba. The severe damage to the ship's systems allows her to escape.
- One-Hit Kill: One of Sheba's Limit Breaks is an immediate K.O. that ignores resistance to Instant Death.
- Panthera Awesome: "Organic Transformers" like Sheba, Starfire, and Elder Prime in default mode are mountain lions with wings. Kinda like Quickswitch, oddly enough...
- Shout-Out: Sheba's character was named—before The Transformers was even a thing—after the female Colonial Viper Ace Pilot Sheba from Battlestar Galactica (1978).
- Status Effects: Sleep is a recurring one, as it is one of Sheba's major vulnerabilities. While in most instances it's caused by Tranquilizers such as Carfentanil or Ketamine, in Shadow of the Guardian and Galvatron's Tiny Problem it's magically induced. So are Confusion, Berserk, Blind, and Silence.
- Strapped to an Operating Table: particularly in Blitzwing Vs The Quintessons.
- The Chosen One: Not only Rodimus Prime, but Starscream as well, in The Big Capture of 1999-2006.
- Tyke Bomb: The Quintessons, under Unicron's orders attempted to do this to Sheba when they first captured her, as revealed in Prisoner of Destiny and The Big Capture of 1999-2006.
- Undying Loyalty: Even after Galvatron's defeat at the hands of Megatron, Cyclonus still refuses to swear allegiance to Megatron in The Big Capture of 1999-2006.
