Tropes used by this author include:
- Alternate Universe Fic: Most of SeerKing's fics, with a hefty dose of Rational Fic.
- Author Appeal: Headpats, as it's difficult to find any female in their story that doesn't like being petted.
- Competence Porn: It's quite obvious that one of SeerKing's pet peeves is any trope from the Ball Index, thus characters have a more realist bent to them.
- Dead Fic: Played with. SeerKing adheres to a "writing schedule" on what they will write next, but they will occassionally write or update fics outside of the schedule if they so desire. This can cause fics outside of the schedule to go years without updates. While only fics without personalized covers are ever outright declared dead, several fics with covers yet not part of the schedule are effectively dead in all but name, such as "Code Geass: Numbers Reshuffled" and "Ranma Saotome, Chi Master".
- Insistent Terminology: While its more accurately a "To Do List" for which fic to focus on writing next, SeerKing consistently refers to it as a "writing schedule".

- Downplayed. Many fics of theirs often include elements of personal headcanons and bias for or against certain characters, such as making characters with annoying behavior dumber, more evil, less likable, etc.
