John Randolph (born Emanuel Hirsch Cohen, June 1, 1915 - February 24, 2004) was an American actor best known for You've Got Mail (1998), Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971), and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989).
He was married to actress Sarah Cunningham and they had two children.
Randolph died in 2004 at the age of 88 from natural causes.
