"My fondest memory is of playing Charles Hawtrey's pregnant wife. I had the baby - he had the labour pains!"

Gwendolyn Watts, (23 September 1937 — 5 February 2000), was a British actress best known for playing various glamour roles.

She began her acting career at the start of The '60s, with roles of various sizes in films such as Sons and Lovers, Billy Liar, My Fair Lady, and The Wrong Box. She also appeared in three Carry On films.

On TV, she appeared in roles that let her show off her beauty, such as two episodes of The Benny Hill Show and appearing as Iris, a clippie who Stan lusted over in the first series of On the Buses. She was Joan Booth in the Pilot of Love Thy Neighbour, but the role went to Kate Williams for the rest of the series.

She married fellow actor Gertan Klauber in 1959 and the two remained together until her death of a heart attack at the age of 62.
