Gertan Klauber, born George Gertan Klauber, (5 March 1932 — 1 August 2008), was a Czechoslovakia-born British character actor.
After being born in Czechoslovakia he eventually made his way to England, where he trained at the Birmingham Theatre School. During this time, he appeared on stage with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre.
Klauber played minor roles in a few Carry On films, with his biggest part being Bidet, one of King Francis' soldiers in Carry On Henry. On TV, he often played one-off villains in episodes of series such as The Avengers (1960s), Danger Man, Doctor Who, The Professionals, The Saint, and Blackadder The Third.
He was married to fellow actor Gwendolyn Watts until her death in 2000, while he died at the age of 76.
