Anne Celeste Heche (May 25, 1969 – August 12, 2022) was an American actress, director, and writer.
She was best known for her roles in Another World, Donnie Brasco, Six Days, Seven Nights and Psycho (the 1998 remake).
Heche was bisexual, having been in relationships with Ellen DeGeneres and James Tupper and a marriage to Coley Laffon, with two sons, one in 2002 by Tupper and another in 2009 by Laffon. She was also open in detailing her longtime issues with mental illness.
On August 5, 2022, Heche was involved in a car crash in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles that left her in a coma with no chance of survival. She was declared legally dead under California law on August 12 and taken off life support two days later.

- Deleted Role: She had a main cast role in The Idol, which would have been her last completed television production before her death, but like most of the original cast, she was replaced when almost the entire series was re-shot under new management.
