Men in Trees is an American romantic comedy-drama television series, which premiered on September 12, 2006, on ABC.
The series concerns Marin Frist (Anne Heche), a relationship coach from New York who moves into the fictional town of Elmo, Alaska, as it concerns in her misadventures in relationships while there.
The series was cancelled on May 4, 2008, after two seasons.
This series features examples of:
- The Cobbler's Children Have No Shoes: Marin is a relationship coach who suffers misadventures in her own relationships. In fact, the plot gets kickstarted when she discovers that her fiancé has been cheating on her.
- Modesty Towel: When Marin, a Fish out of Water who moves from New York to Alaska, is seen wearing nothing but a towel, she's asked earnestly if that's the current style in New York.
- Perma-Stubble: Several of the men on the show are seen with some peach fuzz.
