The Hosts

Azelf

"Thank god! I don't want to find any gross smut of me with these two. I'm clearly too good for that kind of shit."

The primary host of the show, and the one responsible for creating all of the challenges.

• Attention Whore: Loves being the center of attention among his siblings, and will go out of his way to actually be so.
• Arch-Enemy: To his brother, Uxie, who he can't seem to get along with no matter how hard he tries.
• Drama Queen: Makes a big deal out of literally everything.
• Jerkass: He's pretty big prick to his siblings and at least half of the contestants.
• Large Ham: Purposefully plays up everything he does in order to appeal to the cameras.
• Mr. Exposition: More so than his siblings, since he actually insists they recap the previous episodes every time.
• Narcissist: He's pretty full of himself, and seems to believe that he was destined to be on TV.
• Noodle Incident: He used to go out with a Caterpie...It's implied that they also had some kind of sexual intercourse...They don't go into detail thankfully.
• Perpetual Smiler: Played with, but he does try and put on a smile whenever the cameras start rolling.
• Psychopathic Man Child: Seems to be just on the edge of this at all times.
• Vitriolic Best Buds: With Uxie, though it seems to be more vitriolic than anything actually friendly.

Mesprit

"Hopefully there won't be some sort of misunderstanding where only the viewers and us know the truth. It'd be tragic seeing good people turning bad."

The secondary host of the show, and the head chef and medic for the cast.

• Actual Pacifist: Is strongly against violence and the contestants hurting one another.
• All-Loving Hero: Especially when compared to her brothers, Mesprit comes across as friendly and good-natured overall, while only encouraging positive habits and people.
• Camp Cook: Is responsible for feeding the contestants on the island.
• Genki Girl: She's the only host who treats all the contestants with respect while acting consistently kind and energetic.
• The Medic: Seems to also serve this role on the island to some degree.
• Nice Girl: The kindest of the three hosts and seems to act as a recurring positive influence for the two.
• Odd Friendship: She actually gets along very well with resident weirdo, Quagsire.
• Only Sane Woman: She acts as the peacekeeper and middle ground to her brother's constant arguing, usually leading to her having to take on this role in order to stop the fights from escalating.
• Ship Tease: Oddly, with Cloud Cuckoo Lander Quagsire.
• Team Mom: For everyone on the show, including her two brothers. She's the most mature person of everyone on the island, and thus takes care of the contestants in a lot of ways, and also acts as the mediator of violence between her brothers.
• Token Good Teammate: The only one of the siblings to be firmly on the good side, acting maturely and kindly to everyone on the island.

Uxie

"Please, she was a menace and you know it. At least now she's gone and we won't have to ever deal with her again."

The tertiary host of the show, and the main editor responsible for each episode.

• Arch-Enemy: To his brother, Azelf, who he can't seem to get along with no matter how hard he tries.
• Deadpan Snarker: The snarkiest person on the show, with literally every word that comes out of his mouth being loaded with snark and wit.
• Even Evil Has Loved Ones: While he may be The Sociopath of the show, he still is shown to at least have some care for his siblings...Or at least his sister.
• Hated by All: Nobody likes Uxie or approves of how he views people or handles challenges. Not even his own brother and sister seem to like him very much, and his brother might just be his biggest detractor overall.
• Jerkass: Snarky and rude to everyone around him, including his siblings.
• Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: In episode 2, he actually seemed at least a little sympathetic towards Granbull after her beat down...Until it's revealed he doesn't actually care much at all, belittles her, and says the incident will attract the show ratings.
• Kick the Dog:
  • Him actually berating Granbull after her very serious beat down by Drifblim. He even states her surprise elimination will at least be good for ratings.
  • Berating his sister for never finding love.
• Lack of Empathy: Towards Granbull after her serious physical beat down courtesy of Drifblim, showing her no pity and actually belittling her.
• The Sociopath: Has been confirmed as one via Word of God. He's a rather emotionless jerk compared to his siblings, and along with that lacks any of their sympathetic qualities.
• Token Evil Teammate: The only one of the siblings to be unambiguously evil.
• Vitriolic Best Buds: With Azelf, though it seems to be more vitriolic than anything actually friendly.

You know that quiet kid in the back of the class who nobody ever actually remembers after high school is over and you’ve all moved on? Yeah, this is that kid. Living a life full of pop culture references, obsessing over continuity issues in comic books, getting high in his friend’s basement for seemingly little reason besides depression, and really lacking anything resembling being cool, he’s probably the biggest loser you could ever meet. But hey, maybe being a loser will just help him get further and not have to worry about people swarming him for alliances and other junk he doesn’t care for. After all, really, what could go wrong when nobody notices you?

• Ambiguous Disorder: He displays several symptoms of potentially social anxiety disorder. It seems like at even the hint of speaking to others, he becomes easily flustered and hard to have an actual conversation with, and doesn't seem to understand how to actually talk to them anyways.
• Butt-Monkey: Or at least he is back home, constantly being mocked and harassed for his anxiety.
• Casanova Wannabe: He apparently asked out every girl in his college...And they all rejected him.
• Closet Geek: While it's mostly overshadowed by his awkward personality, Araquanid is a huge fan of sci-fi movies, and is in love with the Star Wars franchise. He's also implied to be a Trekkie.
• Dogged Nice Guy: Revealed to be this in episode two, having been rejected by every girl he's ever asked out, no matter how kind he treats them. It's actually caused him to fall into somewhat of an early depression.
• Geek Physiques: He is actually rather skinny and frail looking for his species, and basically looks easy enough to break with minimal effort.
• Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places: One of his goals on the show is to find a girlfriend, after every previous attempt of his on the show failed. He's deducted that since all the girls back home were immature and spoiled party animals, that maybe he'll have an easier time on a show full of older women who have matured as people.
• Lovable Coward: He's the first person to get out of fighting Granbull, but is still a good guy who isn't afraid to stand up for himself if pushed too far.
• Never Accepted in His Hometown: Apparently has been rejected by every girl in his college, and if his awkwardness is anything to go by, he doesn't have many friends or close family members either.
• Nice Guy: A sweet guy who just suffers from being extremely socially awkward.
• No Social Skills: Due to just how awkward and hard to talk to he is.
• Not Good with Rejection: It's less so that he can't take someone not accepting his feelings, and more so that he has been rejected by every girl at his college.
• Odd Friendship: With Alpha Bitch Octillery.
• Only Sane Man: For the Amazing Azelf, being by far the most normal guy of the team overall, and is actually pretty friendly to boot.
• Precocious Crush: Has a thing for older women in their 20s to around early 40s, while he's still just a teenager. He seems to realize how weird this is, but none the less prefers the older types to those his age, since he thinks that an adult breaking his heart wouldn't hurt as much.
• The Stoner: Reveals that he does drugs in order to calm himself down and push his anxiety back.

Drifblim

To put it simply, Drifblim is like your girlfriend’s really intimidating father. You know the type, they’re the assholes who seem to spend their free times chewing on glass, saying you don’t deserve her, and also for some reason have a shotgun antique pointed at the door whenever you walk through the door. Well, Drifblim is that type of person, just know that he’s incredibly protective, determined once he’s set a goal for himself, and ready to kick the ass of anyone who questions his masculinity.

• Abusive Parents: It's implied that his father raised him under such strict and harsh conditions, that eventually he became The Stoic just to try and maintain some sanity.
• The Ace: When referring to the competition itself, he acts as a major challenge beast.
• Affably Evil: "Evil" is an exaggeration, but he is none the less extremely violent and dangerous. But if he respects you, he'll treat you very kindly.
• Ambiguous Disorder: Several moments of his hint at a potential anti-social personality disorder.
• Arch-Enemy: To Granbull, being the only person who could actually stand up to her, and is ultimately the cause of her elimination. He doesn't seem to see her as much though.
• Beware the Quiet Ones: Doesn't say much compared to the rest of the cast, but he's bar-none the most dangerous contestant in the game.
• The Big Guy: The largest and strongest contestant at the camp.
• Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: The brooding boy to Hydreigon's gentle girl.
• Brutal Honesty: Don't expect him to sugarcoat his feelings towards you or anyone else.
• Curb Stomp Battle: Basically every fight against him ends with him kicking your ass with minimal effort.
• Dark and Troubled Past: Was only raised by his father due to his mother dying upon his birth. It's implied that he was very harshly and strictly raised.
• The Dreaded: Everyone on the island is absolutely terrified of him.
• Everyone Has Standards: He's among the most violent and feared contestants, but he also has a strong morality complex, enough so that upon accidentally knocking Raichu out in episode 1, he takes care of him for the rest of the episode, putting his focus on the rat instead of the challenge. Later in the episode, he also brings back an exhausted Hydreigon back to camp.
• Freudian Trio: Acts as the Ego to Infernape's Superego and Yanmega's Id.
• Good Is Not Nice: He's among the most violent contestants, but only has good intentions, wanting to protect those incapable of protecting themselves.
• Hidden Depths: He's actually acting as a surprisingly good helper to Hydreigon, using various different types of meditation and concentration exercises to help her focus more.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's one of the most violent contestants who refuses to work with others unless they prove their worth, but he also has a strong morality complex, believes in defending those who are unable to defend themselves, and is always willing to take responsibility for his actions. He also has formed friendships with both Hydreigon and Raichu due to taking care of the two during episode 1.
• Loner-Turned-Friend: Becomes this to Hydreigon and Raichu.
• No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Delivers one to Granbull, beating her badly enough that the hosts admit that they would have medevaced her from the game if they could.
• No Social Skills: Not really his fault, but everyone's terrified of him to a point of having difficulties actually talking to him.
• Odd Friendship: With Hydreigon and Raichu, with the former being The Ditz who needs helping learning how to concentrate, while the latter's a Former Child Star who has fallen into depression.
• Red Eyes, Take Warning: The most dangerous contestant on the show, and have bright red, almost glowing eyes.
• Ship Tease: With Hydreigon.
• The Stoic: Barely shows any emotions other than indifference and silent anger.
• Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: With Infernape and Yanmega, both of which are gunning for his elimination.
• Tranquil Fury: Speaks very calmly by default, but he instantly goes into this mode upon Granbull messing up for a third time while he's around.
• Troubled, but Cute: Or at least Hydreigon seems to think so.
• Would Hit a Girl: More than willing to hurt anyone who tries to injure those he considers too weak to defend themselves.

There are plenty of people in the world who you could describe as...Scatterbrained. The type of person who you can’t rely on to do much of anything, not because they’re a bad person in any way, but more so because...They don’t really seem to know what they’re doing. That’s Hydreigon. For her, having three completely different trains of thought running through her head at all times has basically made it impossible for her to accurately figure out what she actually will do. Often her actions are random since her thoughts get so jumbled together it becomes impossible to properly concentrate on much of anything. A nice girl who sadly has very little ability to actually do anything of worth...How sad.

• All Girls Want Bad Boys: Implied to have feelings towards Drifblim, who's among the most violent and serious contestants on the island.
• Ambiguous Disorder: Displays the symptoms of possible ADHD.
• Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Her Fatal Flaw that has apparently made life a living hell for her.
• Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: The gentle girl to Drifblim's brooding boy.
• The Ditz: Justified due to her having three minds and all, but Hydreigon isn't very bright and can't concentrate on anything very well either. Just attempting to try and form coherent sentences is a struggle for her.
• Dumb Is Good: She's among the less intelligent contestants due to her mental difficulties, and she overall seems to have trouble knowing what's going on.
• Gamer Chick: Word of God has confirmed her as one, since playing a game is one of the few things all of heads are able to focus on, thus making playing them a rare experience of peace inside her otherwise usually busy mind.
• No Social Skills: Due to a lack of being able to concentrate on what she actually wants to say, leading to conversations with her feeling largely one-sided.
• Odd Friendship: With The Stoic Drifblim.
• Ship Tease: With Drifblim.
• Token Good Teammate: The only member of the Awesome Azelf who's firmly a good person both in and out of the game.

Infernape

War can be a terrible thing. Many people will die, and those that don't wish they had. This guy used to be those guys, but now came out as a badass. Serving the military for a long time, he’s well respected among his comrades. He had a hot-tempered personality that could’ve burn the entire campsite. It’s that which helped him survive throughout his whole life, and beat up those who annoy the hell out of him. He calmed down, but it’s still there. Picking up advice from his former wise teammate, he wants to spit out some advice of his own. If he can bring out the potential in himself, why not do the same with his future competitors?

• 10-Minute Retirement: Goes through one in episode 3.
• Anti-Villain: He's more than capable of being mean, and isn't hesitant to start playing competitively and cut-throat, but clearly is a good guy on some level and has an obvious moral compass.
• Beware the Quiet Ones: He was in the military after all.
• Big Guy, Little Guy: The big guy to Yanmega's little guy.
• Bungled Self-Elimination: After a violent outburst in episode 3, he attempts to get himself eliminated due to believing he's a danger to everyone here. It only fails because Xatu gets herself eliminated.
• Cool Old Guy: The oldest contestant on the show, but that doesn't stop him from keeping up with the others.
• The Dragon: Serves as Yanmega's right hand man and closest ally.
• Freudian Trio: Acts as the Superego to Drifblim's Ego and Yanmega's Id.
• Good Is Not Nice: He's a Cool Old Guy who served in the war in order to protect and defend his nation. He's still rude to most of the cast in his own right though.
• Hero of Another Story: Used to serve in the military.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He may be rude and be playing the game kinda cut-throat, but he quickly jumps to Vanilluxe's aid as Granbull attacks him, and has served in the war just to defend his nation.
• The Lancer: Acts as the second-in-command to Yanmega. Not like people will actually listen to him now.
• My God, What Have I Done?: After nearly getting several people killed in episode 3, he attempts to get himself voted off in a form of retribution and paying for his actions.
• Shell-Shocked Veteran: In episode 3, he suffers from this and nearly gets several people hurt. This leads to him attempting to get himself eliminated that episode.
• Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: With Drifblim, who refused to join his alliance due to not respecting Infernape. He takes this personally and starts gunning for his elimination.

You know that teacher who often gives students way more homework than usual, and gives them detentions for small reasons like sitting on a whoopee cushion? Yeah, she’s that teacher. She’s not rich, but she’s super strict, wanting to make sure everything is up her standard. And even if it is, she’s hard to please. The students hated her so much, they filmed her audition without permission and sent her to the show! She’s going to be one unhappy camper when she arrives.

• Academic Alpha Bitch: A strict educational teacher, who has a notably rude and perfectionist attitude towards just about everything.
• Ambiguous Disorder: Potentially has a minor case of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
• Arch-Enemy: To Octillery, who she believes is an immature child who can't seem to grow up or mature in any meaningful way.
• Berserk Button: Not using proper grammar is an easy way to piss her off.
• Insufferable Genius: Will chew people out just for not using proper grammar.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: May be a very strict and overall rude person, but she does have good intentions when she taught her students, and does seem to be capable of lightening up around those who show her actual respect back, even being capable of being friendly around them.
• Odd Friendship: With Xatu, an idealistic fortune teller who doesn't seem to exist on a consistent form of reality and logic.

''All she wants to do is to party non-stop. Screw school! Screw jobs! Party, alcohol, and hot boys are all she needs in her life. The word, "work", is never in her dictionary. That is if she even owns a dictionary. She prefers to let other do the hard work while she chills and parties. What did she expect to happen when she applied for the show? She’ll be totally disappointed when she arrives to the fact that she'll actually have to try in order to make it far in the game.

• Abusive Parents: Downplayed, but it's heavily implied that Octillery's parents don't care about her in any way.
• Alpha Bitch: For the Awesome Azelf; She's The Slacker of the team, and is very rude to every member of it, including Araquanid, who's the only player who actually tries to be her friend. However, as of her Jerkass Realization in episode 3, she's began developing into a Lovable Alpha Bitch.
• Arch-Enemy: To Leavanny, due to finding her an old and boring adult who sucks away all the fun things in life.
• The Atoner: After realizing how terribly she treated Araquanid, she decides to atone for this by helping him get a girlfriend.
• Dirty Coward: Quickly gets out of fighting Granbull due to her own fear.
• Drama Queen: Will make a big deal about anything that doesn't revolve around her lazy lifestyle.
• Jerkass Realization: Goes through one in episode 3, upon realizing how poorly she was treating Araquanid.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: A very immature and rude teenager who slacks off at every opportunity, but as shown through her interactions with Araquanid, she is capable of being friendly towards those who share similar interests or are at least around her age.
• The Lad-ette: All she wants to do all day is get drunk off her ass, relax in the Golden Inn hot tub, make fun of the others for being old, and making sexual references that most only find awkward.

  • With Xatu, the oldest female contestant. Octillery had previously spent the game constantly insulting those older than her.

Do you ever want to know what’s your future? Don’t bother receiving a blunt answer, because she’ll say “spoiler”. And even if she does tell you, it’d be in vague context that you'll most likely not understand no matter how hard you try. For most of her life, she discovered all of the pasts and futures of those surrounds her. That’s what made her a well-known fortune-teller back home. One vision later, and she’s sending herself into the game. What’s her vision about? She’ll tell you this - “Spoiler.”

• Ambiguously Brown: Implied to be of African American roots.
• Beware the Quiet Ones: Considering she knows absolutely everything that's going to happen in the future and everything that happened in the past, it's heavily implied that she's much more dangerous then she lets on.
• Catchphrase : "Spoiler."
• Heroic Self-Elimination: Causes her own elimination to keep Infernape in the game.
• Hidden Depths: She's surprisingly good with helping others see the perspective of another person without spoiling anything about their lives. That takes a serious amount of skill and dedication, considering she easily could have just gone down the route of explaining their why they act the way they do in detail.
• Odd Friendship: With Leavanny, a strict school teacher who has a very realistic outlook on life.
• The Quiet One: Speaks rarely compared to everyone else in the game.
• Weak, but Skilled: She may not be the most powerful contestant, but she can still see into the past and future.

Yanmega

He loves flying, always has been since he could. He would act out as superheroes and supervillains, and would even wear a cape on special occasions. And when he grew out of it, he became a great pilot, earning his nickname as “Captain Yanmega!” With his beautiful fiance and soon-to-be stepson on his tail, life is good for him. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to raise money for the wedding, so seeing the flier for the show, he came up with a plan.

• A House Divided: His Control Freak personality and campaign to eliminate Drifblim caused his team to completely split apart in terms of factions, and by the end of episode 3, it's pretty clear nobody's really on each other's side. Good job, Yanmega.
• Big Guy, Little Guy: The little guy to Infernape's big guy.
• Blind Obedience: While he doesn't suffer from this, he does expect this from everyone on his team, bringing up his position as team leader often due to believing that it automatically makes what he says matter more than the others and their ideas.
• Control Freak: His behavior as leader subtly implies he's this.
• Drunk with Power: As early as episode two, he has already become a Control Freak for his team, and seems to grow very irrational when that power is taken away from him, to a point of not being nearly as useful as a teammate.
• Freudian Trio: Acts as the Id to Infernape's Superego and Drifblim's Ego.
• Hero of Another Story: His entire life before the game could actually be it's own movie.
• The Leader: Won this position on the Awesome Azelf due to winning the first challenge.
• Lovable Jock: While certainly not perfect, he's still a good person, and is a thrill seeking former pilot who's in great physical condition.
• The Strategist: Quickly starts the first alliance of the game.
• Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: With Drifblim, who actually acts like more of a leader than Yanmega, so he starts to gun for his elimination in order to not feel threatened.

People often says stuff they don’t mean. This guy, on the other hand, doesn’t realize how his words affect others. Zebstrika will often say exactly what’s on his mind without thinking about it for even a moment longer than a single second, which expectedly, has led to him multiple times saying some really offensive stuff, especially about women. Now, he doesn’t do this intentionally obviously. In fact, he’s actually a pretty good guy to hang out with once you realize his mouth doesn’t have an off button. But in the end, controversy is to be expected when this guy is around.

• Brutal Honesty: It's actually his Fatal Flaw. He speaks his opinions without any kind of filler, leading to him saying rude or offensive things to people since he can't stop himself from speaking his mind.
• Innocent Bigot: Described as such, since while he says offensive things, he never means to and is actually a Nice Guy.
• Innocently Insensitive: He means well with everything he says, but he lacks a filter, and has a tendency to accidentally say demeaning or rude things to those around him.
• Jack of All Stats: He's a high school PE teacher, and thus very athletic, has an above average intelligence overall but seems to have difficulty showing it at times, and is very social. His biggest issue is his own lack of a censor.
• Lovable Jock: Teaches physical education, and while he does have a problem with speaking, he's still a good person.
• Nice Guy: A cool guy and tries to be as friendly to others as possible...He just sucks at keeping his mouth shut at times.
• No Indoor Voice: Among the loudest contestants, and doesn't seem capable of just speaking calmly and normally.
• No Social Skills: Can't seem to read a situation or stop himself from saying whatever's on his mind, leading to many awkward and tense moments with the other contestants.
• Raised by Dudes: His mom disappeared from his life only a few months after he was born. Due to this, he has been raised by his four older brothers and father.

In cast full of very disturbed, hateful, and outright insulting contestants, who seem like they have nothing redeeming about them, Granbull is the only one who truly doesn’t have a single redeeming thing about her. Instead, she comes across as the only truly evil being in the game, or at least the closest thing to one. In the end though, will these outright terrible deeds she plans to commit bite her in the ass, or will it just make her job of winning so much easier?

• Action Girl: Very hands-on in terms of getting into a fight, and gets into quite a few in the story.
• Alas, Poor Villain: Being a terrible person aside, you can't help but feel bad for her after getting savagely beaten down by Drifblim.
• Alpha Bitch: The Mysterious Mesprit; She's a psycho who constantly harasses and bullies everyone on the team while making herself the "undisputed" leader of the team.
• Arc Villain: Served as the Big Bad of episodes 1 and 2, until her elimination at the end of the latter episode.

• Jerkass: An absolute psychopath who spends her time harassing her teammates and physically bullying them for little reason.
• Kick the Dog: In episode 2, she ruthlessly beats Vanilluxe down, nearly shattering his cone in the process. It is known among the campers that had Drifblim not intervened, she most likely would have ended up murdering him!.
• Smug Snake: Is almost suicidally confident in her ability to easily defeat anyone around her.

In a world full of geniuses, people trying and being prepared to change the world for the better, and those who just know how to make things work...Quagsire is not one of them. In fact he’s the complete opposite. To put it simply, Quagsire was sadly a complete moron, seemingly never having grown past his childish personality he clearly had formed in his youth. He was immature in just about every way. And yet, he’s also one of the most determined people you could ever meet. Once he’s formed a goal in his mind, he not only will follow it through to the end, but he’ll do it while clapping obnoxiously.

• Abusive Parents: When you really listen to some of the stuff Quagsire says, his childish outlook on his mother slowly begins to sound more disturbing.
• All-Loving Hero: Either due to his own stupidity or his naturally friendly personality, he doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body or even seem capable of seeing anything other than the best in others.
• The Beast Master: Oddly seems to have some sort of power to control the wildlife of the island.

• Friend to All Living Things: He gets along with all of the wild Pokemon on the island and deeply cares for them, and also naturally thinks the highest of every person he meets.
• Gentle Giant: He's actually one of the tallest member of his team, and yet he's also by far the friendliest.
• The Heart: For the Unique Uxie, consistently acting as the friendliest and happiest member of it.
• Hidden Depths: Seems to have a natural connection with the wild Pokemon living on the island.
• In Harmony with Nature: Quagsire loves everything about the outdoors, from the wild Pokemon that live out there to it's natural beauty.
• Large Ham: Everything he does is just full of energy and personality.

• Manchild: His chipper attitude, naivete, and admiration for everyone around him firmly places him as this, especially considering it seems as if at times he never passed elementary school.

Do you have secrets? Of course you do, everyone does. And due to this, hide them away as best you can, because she will stop at nothing to spill all your secrets to the world. It’s why she hardly has any friends. But there’s no doubt she has the skills and determination to get what she wants. If she sniffs out even the tiniest whiff of a secret, not even an army of Fairy Pokemon could possibly hope to stop her. She’ll be someone’s worst enemy for those who want to make secret moves in the game.
