Doctor Octogonapus

DOCTOR OCTOGONAPUS BLAHH!!!

Appearances: All 6 Lazer Collections

A random creature who's only goals in life seem to be showing up at random, screaming his name, and blowing people up.

Breath Weapon: A laser, which going by the detectives in Lazer Collection 3, is made of Pure Energy.
Captain Ersatz: Of Dr. Otto Octavius as depicted in Spider-Man 2, as lampshade by Spider-Man.
Spidey: Oh my God, it's Alfred Molina!
Character Catchphrase: "DOCTOR OCTAGONAPUS BLAHHH!!". It's to the point where that's how most people even know his name, and his own son finds out they're related.
Cool Shades: Always sports a pair.
Even Evil Has Loved Ones: His son Randal, although he does meet him in strenuous circumstances. He is shown to be remorseful over his death.
Luke, I Am Your Father: To his son, Randal.
Morally Ambiguous Doctorate: If nothing else, we don't know how he got the moniker.
O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Gets so upset at the Aladdin expy interrupting him that when he finally does fire the lazer, he swears.
DOCTOR OCTO-MOTHERF-BEEP-ING-GONAPUS BBBLAHHH!!
Pokémon Speak: Averted. He is entirely capable of articulate sentences.
Villain Decay: This happens to him after Shoop Da Whoop fires him; he becomes a stagehand.

Detective Randal Octagonapus

I'm fine... but this case was just made personal!

Appearances: Lazer Collections 3 and 5

A rookie detective when we first meet him in Lazer Collection 3. However, he has some history with his pursued criminal..

Breath Weapon: Like father like son.
The Determinator: Randal leaps up a building to chase Dr. Octogonapus, and even when knocked off of it, brushes off the injury.
It's Personal: His continued reason to pursue the Dr. Octogonapus.
The Unpronouncable: Played for Drama in this case. If his last name were to be pronounced, it would reveal who his father is.

Randal's Superior

Chief's got your first case, rookie.

Appearances: Lazer Collection 3

Randal's boss at his detective job, who gives him his first case.

Fan Disservice: While never shown, thankfully, he mentions it's his dream to be a traveling naked contortionist, although even he admits it's odd.
Gross-Up Close-Up: "Just. Pure. ENERGY.". This might actually be one of the few justified cases, as the lasers are just made of light and heat.
No Name Given: He's never referred to by name. Even in his monologue, he uses 'he' instead of a name

Dirty Boy

I am a dirty boy.

The "Dirty Boy" who shows up occasionally, playing piano and taking a shower

Butt-Monkey: Gets Lazered in the shower, and his own piano insults his skills.
Mad Libs Catchphrase: It only gets altered twice, for the shower and piano scenes, but, "I am a dirty boy. It is time to x"

Aladdin

Appearances: Lazer Collection 3

The title character from the Aladdin film series, who shows up, but makes a mistake when he rubs the wrong lamp.
