- Adaptational Badass: Chapter 81 of Gaiden gives him the ability to use other spells and abilities in Super Smash Bros fights such as Aerial Slam, Magnega, Aerial Recovery, Stopga, Curaga (outside of his taunts), Double Form, Ragnarok, Zanketusen, Airstepping, and Flowmotion.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Sora attempts to help Aqua and Ventus against Terranort. Unfortunately, Xemnas, Young Xehanort, and Ansem had other ideas and prevented anyone else from helping him. Ouch.
- Luckily, he got better after a run-in with Chirithy.
- Comically Missing the Point: When Sora is about to learn he's in Smash, Master Hand says he has an announcement to make for him. How does Sora respond?
- Sora: I knew it. Aerith is the flower girl for Cloud and Tifa's wedding!Tifa: *spit takes*Cloud: *blushing a deep red*Aerith: Say, there's an idea~!
- Marshmallow Hell: Pyra and Mythra happily smother him with their hugs. However, Sora requests that they let him breathe.
- Mistaken Identity: During Inside Story, Sora keeps getting mistaken for others due to similar hairstyles such as Pit and Cloud.
- No Sense of Direction: He tries to go to Remnant with the Star Shard that Mickey gives him. Unfortunately, he's never used it and winds up in different worlds, much to Donald's annoyance.
- Precision F-Strike: He utters this line when he sees Kurt Zisa again.
- Sora: ... Shit.Riku: Whoa! Where did you learn that?!
- As it turns out, he learned the word from Mythra, who kept uttering the line when her casserole went up in flames.
- Rage Breaking Point: After defeating Xehanort, the old man reveals he's too late and points to Kingdom Hearts glowing an ominous aura. Sora outright LOSES IT and pins him to a wall while even going into his Rage Form. Kairi immediately hugs him from behind to calm him down.
- Suggestive Collision: Sora is outright smothered between Pyra and Mythra, and he complains that he needs to breathe.

- Took a Level in Badass: When held hostage by Pride who had taken over Penny's body, Pride threatens to kill her if anyone makes a move. Kairi simply takes one of Penny's blades and impales her body, much to Pride's surprise. She then proceeds to clobber him with a brand new Keyblade.
- Kairi: Sorry, I don't do the kidnapping bit anymore!

- Dark Is Not Evil: He uses his darkness for good. He even explains to Aqua that he thought the same thing until he realized that the darkness isn't always that bad.

- Running Gag: No one can understand what Donald speaks at times, which annoys him a lot.
- Security Cling: He claims he's not scared, but one surprise howl from Wolf sends him jumping into Mythra's arms in fright.

- Big Damn Heroes: Aqua was quick on the draw and deflected a fatal attack from a Glavenus that was meant for Blake.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: She had no trouble taking on both the Glavenus and Adam Taurus.
- Only the Chosen May Wield: Only Aqua or other Keyblade users can wield her Keyblade. When Adam tries to use it against her, she quickly steals it back as the blade won't allow him to use it.
- Power-Up: After making peace with Anti-Aqua, Aqua gains the ability to use that form, and Darkness moves.

- Punny Name: When Terra complains that using the Spin Drill in Spin Dig Galaxy made him dizzy, Yang doesn't even hesitate to make a pun, much to his dismay.

- Robot Buddy: Baymax counts as this, being a robotic healthcare companion.

- The Speechless: Rémy cannot talk to humans. So anytime he's with one, he's rendered as speechless as any other rat as much as humans can only hear him squeaking whenever he talks.
- Supreme Chef: Despite being a small rat, he is an absolute master in the kitchen.

- The Bad Guy Wins: She was able to obtain the Keyblade of Heart thanks to manipulation and good planning despite the heroes' best efforts.
- Vile Villain, Laughable Lackey: She's the Vile Villain to Pete's Laughable Lackey and considering her introduction had her kill off the entire Branwen Tribe, it's not hard to see why.
