Due to the incredibly diverse cast of characters (especially regarding the world it's based in), the character page has been split up into three separate categories, each one in their own settlement/family/kingdom or otherwise. The characters can be found in the links below.

     Humans

Humans are the most common humanoid species in Ardonia, being the dominant species in the kingdoms of Conchord, Cydonia, Hydraphel, and Northwind. They are constantly at the forefront of any major battles that will happen on the supercontinent, just behind the Ardoni species.

  • Humans Are Average: From what we've seen so far, they are dwarfed (in one way or another) by the other species in Ardonia.
  • Humans Are Divided: Being the most widespread and common beings in Ardonia, there are always differences between humans on this supercontinent.
  • Humans Are Flawed: Humans, being the most numerous of the intelligent species in Ardonia, display the greatest range of emotions and motives throughout the series.
  • Humans Are Not the Dominant Species: Subverted, while there are humans seen in Felden, Ataraxia and Crown Peak, where they aren't the most common or powerful beings, they are rarely treated with malice. This trope is however, played straight in the kingdom of K'arthen, ruled by the mostly-aggressive Magnorites.
  • Humans Are White: Most of the humans seen in the series are Caucasian, though there exceptions (mostly in the kingdom of Felden).
  • Interspecies Friendship: It's very common for humans to have non-human friends in Ardonia, most commonly between them, and the Felinas in the kingdom of Felden.

     Felinas

Felinas are one of the most widespread species in Ardonia, second only to humans, and are the dominant species in the kingdom of Felden. Despite looking very similar to humans, they have many abilities and features that distinguish themselves from said humans.

  • All in the Eyes: They have much better eyesight than humans, and if their status as cat-like people is anything to go by, they can see in the dark.
  • Bizarre Sexual Dimorphism: The females are technicolour, the males have greyscale fur.
  • Cat Folk: They have many cat-like physical features, such as ears, claws, and better agility and eyesight. The females are said to look more cat-like than the males are.
  • Cats Hate Water: Felinas can't swim, and as a result, they are fearful of going into large bodies of water.
  • In a Single Bound: They have the ability to leap quite a distance if they want.
  • Interspecies Friendship: They commonly have this with the humans in Felden.
  • Not Quite Human: They may look like humans, but they are a completely different species.
  • One Head Taller: Zig-zagged. Males tend to be slightly taller than full-grown humans, but females tend to be slightly shorter.
  • Super-Reflexes: Their reflexes are far superior to that of any other species in Ardonia.
  • Unusual Ears: They have cat/wolf ears that stick out on the top of their heads.
  • Wolf Man: A downplayed example. The male Felinas are said to resemble wolves slightly more than cats, such as having greyscale hair.

     Magnorites

Magnorites are among the most reclusive species in the whole of Ardonia, largely keeping to each other, or confining themselves to their own kingdom of K'arthen, where they are the dominant species. While they have no need to eat or sleep, they rarely live past 30 years of age. They are among the strongest species in Ardonia.

  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Since they are based on different rock types, Magnorites can be coloured in browns, greys, blacks, and even some dark blues.
  • Creepy Souvenir: The mob heads that Magnorite diasporas have on their huts (such as in Oakendale) are a display of how many mobs a certain Magnorite has killed. The more heads they have, the more dangerous the Magnorite.
  • Dumb Muscle: A common negative stereotype of Magnorites is that they are strong physically, but not mentally, partly due to their often brutish nature and Rock Monster physiology.
  • Eating Optional: They have absolutely no need to eat anything, which they find very convenient. They do however, require lava as a means of sustenance.
  • Hot-Blooded: Most Magnorites tend to be aggressive, which results in many people of the other species avoiding them where possible.
  • Interspecies Friendship: Unlike the other species, it is rare for a Magnorite to forge one of these.
  • One Head Taller: They are among the tallest humanoid species in Ardonia, their size rivalling that of Netharans.
  • Logical Weakness: Being made of rock, not only are they too heavy to ride animals, but they are also unable to swim (at least in water). It should also be noted that lava to Magnorites is what water is to Humans, being an essential component for them to live, but something that they can drown in.
  • Magma Man: They are beings of lava/magma, and require drinking lava for sustenance.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Inverted, they may seem old due to the nature of rocks, but they rarely live past 30 years of age, making them possibly the shortest-living humanoid species in Ardonia.
  • Rock Monster: They are made up of rock and lava/magma, which gives them Super-Toughness.
  • The Sleepless: They have no need to sleep, making them very active.
  • Super-Strength: They are among the strongest beings in Ardonia, which is one of the reasons why people don't want to mess with them.
  • Tron Lines: They have lava "veins" running along them, showing their physical nature as lava-based humanoids.

     Other Species

Ardonia is a vast land full of diverse people, so there are plenty of lesser humanoid species that tend to escape the reach of the kingdoms and settlements, such as the Glacians, Scails, and many others.

  • All There in the Manual: Any of the named humanoids in this section (barring the Scails, and by extension "Green Thing") are only named from the Season 1 asset pack released after its conclusion.
  • Ambiguously Human: The robed figures in Oakendale in Episode 4 don't seem to be human.
  • Beast Man: The "Goat-man" seen in Episode 4.
  • Creator Cameo: The blue-eyed and red-eyed robed figures seen in Episode 4, are of two Obsidian Patrons; the red-eyed one being "Lone Wolf", and the blue-eyed one being "Arkcrai".
  • Fish People: The Scail (first seen as "Green Thing" in Episode 8), are a water-dwelling species from Hydraphel. They need a constant amount of liquids in order to survive on land.
  • The Ghost: The Glacians have yet to officially appear in the series, though they are said to be one of the oldest species in Ardonia.
  • Golem: The "Arcaniax" seen sharpening its diamond sword in Episode 8 in the Biggerton tavern, is described as being an Iron Golem-like species.
  • Horned Humanoid: The "Goat-man" seen in Episode 4, has curled horns on the side of its head.
  • In the Hood: A red-eyed figure and a blue-eyed figure in Oakendale (as seen in Episode 4) wear hooded robes, which conceals their identity.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: The "Evil Wizard" seen in the sewer at the beginning of Episode 1 invokes this, as does the Necrolord's species. The red-eyed robed figure in Episode 4, less so.
  • Silly Walk: The "Green Thing" seen in Season 1 Episode 8 walks in a strange way, which comes from its semi-aquatic physiology.
