Overseers
The big kahunas of the Realmwalkers, who run the whole place and hand out assignments. Zerase
Zerase
Series: Suikoden V
A mysterious woman from the Suikoden universe who watches over the Realmwalkers.- The Archmage: Much like her original counterpart, she's one of the best magic users in her universe. If not, she may be the most powerful of her counterparts that she becomes an Overseer.
- Big Good: Seems to be shaped into this.
- Good Is Not Nice: She's very rough toward Makoto, but means well.
Palutena
Palutena
Series: Kid Icarus: Uprising
The Goddess of Light from a Kid Icarus universe. As the benevolent Ruler of Skyworld, Palutena goes to great length to protect her people and those who dwell on the surface lands below. She becomes involved with the Realmwalkers as an Overseer.- Foil: To Zerase. Both are Overseers, but the two are quite opposite in terms of personality and motif.
- Goddess of Good: She is the Goddess of Light, after all.
- Hot Goddess: Oh, yes. Thanks to her redesign.
Madam Webb
Madam Webb
Series: Spider-Man
- Blind Seer: Still blind, still just as competent as her regular version.
Field Agents
The main enforcers of the Realmwalkers. They do most of the field works, recruiting potential new Realmwalkers, training cadets, closing off rifts, and fighting outside forces. Ascheritt
Ascheritt
Series: Übel Blatt
The Hero of his universe. Unlike his primary counterpart, he does not use his false name, Köinzell.- The Ace: One of the veteran Realmwalkers and highly respected by his peers. His level is a whooping 75 when he joins as a Guest-Star Party Member.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: He's pretty chill and forgiving when Makoto keeps getting involved in Realmwalker business.
Mario
Mario
Series: Super Mario Bros.
The mascot of Nintendo. In this game, there are two of him running around: one based on the games and the other from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!.
- Heroic Mime: Played with. One version talks like in the Mario & Luigi series, where he only communicates in Italian-sounding gibberish that everyone else translates back for the player. Averted with his cartoon counterpart, who speaks like the other characters.
- In a Single Bound: Duh, it's Mario. His unique class is even called "Jumpman".
- One-Steve Limit: Averted with there being two Marios. It makes Makoto confused at first.
Luigi
Luigi
Series: Super Mario Bros.
- Whatever Happened to the Mouse?: After playing a minor role in the opening of the game, Luigi doesn't even reappear as an NPC.
Donald Duck
Donald Duck
Series: Mickey and Friends
Who's got the sweet disposition? One guess, that's who! A version of Disney's most famous duck is part of the Realmwalkers!- Adaptational Badass: Much like his Kingdom Hearts incarnation, Donald takes a level in badass here. Rather than a Black Mage, he's a powerhouse who could take out an enemy with just one hit.
- The Berserker: Donald's natural trait. Should the players activate his "Goin' Quakers," Donald goes on a Berserk mode and will not stop until the enemies are defeated.
- Born Unlucky: Much like his other incarnations, Donald is still prone to bad luck.
- Catchphrase: It ain't Donald Duck if he doesn't say, "Aw, phooey!"
- Making a Splash: Donald's default element. Also goes well with his sailor motif.
- Pintsized Powerhouse: Contrast to his Kingdom Hearts incarnation, Donald is all brawns here.
- Those Two Guys: with Daffy. They are always paired together after the prologue.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: Donald's dynamic with Daffy. While Donald argues with Daffy's ludicrous ideas, he often joins him in his plans such as distracting the guards.
Daffy Duck
Daffy Duck
Series: Looney Tunes
The Realmwalkers' resident screwball.- Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: His signature white collar.
- Composite Character: There are traces of his wacky nature and his big ego. He's ultimately the Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
- The Lancer: Usually when put in a group, he is this to the leader. Specifically in Chapter 3, to Mario.
- Large Ham: This is Daffy we're talking about. He'll definitely chew the scenery in an over-the-top fashion.
- Lovable Rogue: Combines with Trickster.
- Those Two Guys: with Donald. They are always paired together after the prologue.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: with Donald.
Hekapoo
Hekapoo
Series: Star vs. the Forces of Evil
Willard
Willard
Series: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Chun-li
Chun-li
Series: Street Fighter
An alternate counterpart of Street Fighter's famous Action Girl. She becomes a Realmwalker and works as an instructor to the younger Realmwalkers. She is ultimately assigned to be the instructor to Naegi's team.
- Amazonian Beauty: Much like her original counterpart, she is quite muscular especially her legs.
- Anime Chinese Girl: The classic.
- By-the-Book Cop: Well, she is a cop, after all. Fortunately, she is one of the nicer cops in fiction.
- Lady of War: She moves gracefully and fluidly in each of her kicks. Helps that she is a Reamwalker.
Chris Redfield
Chris Redfield
Series: Resident Evil
- The Cameo: A non-speaking cameo at the Realmwalkers academy's ceremony.
Rena
Cynthia Takenaka
Cynthia Takenaka
A kunoichi from the Unseen School. She's Deviant Art Damsels In Distress artist K a r y u's main OC.- Alternate Self: This is Fantasy Cynthia, a version of her from a fantasy setting unlike "classic" Cynthia who is a british ninja in the modern day.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Cynthia may be sweet, gentle, and prone being a Damsel in Distress, she IS a Realmwalker. She is one of the fastest next to Raiga (befitting a Ninja) and has the potential to become a powerhouse in battle.
- Bound and Gagged: She's captured, bound and gagged in her quest.
- Damsel in Distress: A lot of times falls into this, not that she doesn't mind. It is implied that she does enjoy getting captured.
- Fragile Speedster: She's very fast which makes sense since she's a ninja.
- Guest-Star Party Member: She assists Naegi's team in one of the sidequests.
- Ninja: Her occupation and class.
Others
Realmwalkers whose occupations and roles are either unknown or versatile. Gandalf
Gandalf
Series: The Lord of the Rings
"What do you mean? Do you mean to wish me a good morning or do you mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not?"
The modern wizard archetype from an alternate Lord of the Rings universe. He is one of the oldest Realmwalkers and acts as one of Naegi's mentors.
- Composite Character: His appearance is based on his animated film, but his overall personality is based on the live-action films, specifically Ian McKellen's intepretation.
- Eccentric Mentor: Much like his original counterpart, he is this to Naegi. He teaches the young lad how to form contracts with supernatural beings and call them as his Summons.
- Establishing Character Moment: His entire debut is a homage to his debut in The Hobbit.
- Robe and Wizard Hat: Part and parcel for his "Gandalf the White" look.
Medic
Medic
Series: Team Fortress 2
- Establishing Character Moment: If you've never heard of Medic before, the opening scene of him competently treating Makoto's wounds while telling the story of how he lost his medical license pretty much sets the scene.
Emiline Brooks
Emiline Brooks
Series: Original
- Brutal Honesty: The lady ain't holding nothing back when it comes to her opinions.
- Hate Sink: There's nothing to like about this woman. An obnoxious know-it-all jerk who looks down on those she thinks are beneath her. The way she scolds Makoto comes off as mean-spirited especially when she starts comparing him to his friends and other successful heroes like Kirito and Mikasa. She even blurts out that Makoto should've been a background character. Makes you wonder how the Realmwalkers let her join in the first place.
- Horrible Judge of Character: Her ability to pick Realmwalker recruits is somewhat lacking, given the last two completely bombed the exams.
- Jerkass: Her bluntness makes her somewhat unpopular.
