Kelzad Oox

  • Badass Normal: He doesn't really have any powers so to say, yet he is capable of going toe to toe with the superpowered Yeelon Mekyr, among other supernatural threats. With the exception of his nano improbability drive, although he doesn't seem to be able to use it at will.
  • Cool Mask: Kelzad dons an Engineer mask as he's escaping the Science Tower.
  • Cyber Cyclops: Following his resurrection, Kelzad dons a green eye-piece in the center of his face.
  • The Hero: The primary person out to defeat the evil forces menacing Nevada.
  • Shock and Awe: The Charger batons Kelzad gains in "Fraternization" project bolts of Nexus energy.
  • Morph Weapon: His Chargers can be configured into three different weapons.
    • Cool Sword: A sword, by physically connecting the chargers together

August Huffman / Yeelon Mekyr

  • Arch-Enemy: Of Kelzad.
  • Big Bad: From episode 2 onwards, as both Kelzad and Zalmamdar recognize him as the greater threat.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: With Zalmamdar for most episode 2, as both provide obstacles for Kelzad. Also, in episode 4, the Employers make their presence known, setting up a possible ensemble between them and Zalmamder.
  • Big Bad Friend: Starts off as Kelzad's ally in episode 1, though he turns against him after getting overtaken by Sokar.
  • Dark Is Evil: After getting possessed by Sokar, his body turns black and he gains a dark aura around him.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: His color scheme grows darker over the course of episode 1, but he's still on Kelzad's side. For the most part...
  • Demonic Possession: Winds up getting possessed by Sokar at the end of episode 1.
  • Evil Cripple: Yeelon had his back and neck injured after a particularly nasty landing. As Sokar takes hold of him, it becomes further warped, giving him a permanent hunch and an almost sickle-like posture.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Starts off as Kelzad's ally in episode 1, but he turns against him at the end of the episode.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Gains red eyes after being possessed by Sokar.

Callisto Ferror / Zalmamdar Oox

  • Anti-Villain: Zalmamdar's goal all along was to defeat the Employers and free the High.
  • An Arm and a Leg: REALM: Deterioration reveals that he deliberately cut off his left hand so he could use it to create clones.
  • Archnemesis Dad: To Kelzad in the first episode, as Kelzad was created from his DNA.
  • Big Bad: Of episode 1, him and his soldiers are the one's standing in the way of Kelzad and Yeelon's escape.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: With Yeelon in episode 2. Though he ends up teaming up with Kelzad to oppose Yeelon at the end.
  • Cyborg: His left hand has been replaced by a cybernetic one.
  • Evil Genius: He's a scientist working for the Nexus, though he leans more towards Anti-Villain than straight up evil.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Teams up with Kelzad to stop Yeelon at the end of episode 2. While he's still a member of the Nexus, his goals don't appear to be evil at all at this point.
  • Truly Single Parent: Created Kelzad from his DNA.
  • Villainous Rescue: Saves Kelzad from the clutches of Sokar at the end of episode 2.
