* DarkIsEvil: They're all comprised of black flames and yes, they are evil.
* GreaterScopeVillain: They've had a hand in pretty much anything. They [[spoiler:imprisoned the apparent BigGood of the setting, the High]], and appear to be controlling Nevada and the A.A.H.W. from behind the scenes. In particular though, Ra appears to be their leader.
* OmniscientCouncilOfVagueness: They control the A.A.H.W. from behind the scenes, but their goals remain unknown.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: All of them have red eyes.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: They appear to all be named after Egyptian gods.
* SatanicArchetype: [[spoiler:They were originally servants of the High until they betrayed it.]]
