Agudo (阿古朵), the Child of the Mountain (山林之子)/Wildheart
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_aguduo_350x441.png
Faction: Three Kingdoms - Shu
Arena of Valor counterpart: N/A

Original Information: Aguduo is an original character to Honor of Kings

  • The Beastmaster: Her passive allows her to summon jungle creatures to assist her in battle.
  • Expy: She's based on Arena of Valor's Ishar, as the little girl with gigantic fluffy beast companion, although Aguduo is instead a jungler that converts jungle creatures and can just ride her pet so they count as one unit and increasing her own survivability like a tank.

Bai Qi (白起), the Final Weapon (最终兵器)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_baiqi_350x441.png
Faction: Qin
Arena of Valor counterpart: Mina

Cheng Yaojin (程咬金), the Hot Axe (热烈之斧)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_chengyaojin_350x441.png
Faction: Chang'an
Arena of Valor counterpart: Taara

Original Information: A great general that rose in prominence at the tail end of the Sui Dynasty and going through the Tang Dynasty, recorded to have participated in many battles and various plots in service of the Tang Emperors. However, his career was halted during the campaign against Western Turks by Emperor of Gaozhong (the husband of Empress Wu Zetian), where he recklessly committed a massacre to the city of Hengdu while the Western Turks slipped away from his grasp. Knowing that he has committed an atrocity, after he was stripped from military command, Cheng Yaojin declined the offer to become a prefect of the Qi Prefecture and instead requested his retirement, where he lived the rest of his life in seclusion. His ferocity has become a subject to several Chinese cultures, where he's portrayed as a reckless warrior that unwantedly charges in to screw off a plan and still saving the day or succeeding while using the same old trick.

  • Barbarian Hero: While he lacked the Barbarian Long Hair, Cheng Yaojin's design brings in mind in a barbarian style warrior. He's wearing a barbarian vest that showcases his upper body a lot which is also Covered with Scars.
  • Cast from Hit Points: He's using his HP to cast his skills which also increases his attack damage the more HP he lacked.
  • Covered with Scars: His body is full of scars, and considering that he's designed to jump in and take on a lot of damage like a masochist, it makes sense that he's got a lot.
  • Dual Wielding: He has two axes that he used in tandem for fighting man-to-man, close range.
  • Healing Factor: Cheng Yaojin steadily recovers HP faster when inactive thanks to his passive and can regenerate an absurd amount of HP when triggering his ultimate. Bringing him to low HP when he's at least Level 4? Be surprised that Cheng Yaojin just refused to stand down and start hacking you to pieces instead.
  • Macho Masochism: Macho man Cheng Yaojin prefers to play like a masochist, getting himself hurt a lot before striking back with massive damage. His body being Covered with Scars that he never cleans up also serve as a proof of his manliness and how many times he gets hurt to prove it.
  • Manly Man: For a Chinese and befitting his cultural legacy, Cheng Yaojin is a muscular dude whose style is jump straight to the enemy and manfight the hell out of his enemies, then walk away from their corpses like nothing happened. Even in his opening animation, he's flexing his muscles for you to see how manly he is.

Lian Po (廉颇), the Blast of Justice (正义爆轰)/Gandan Bastion
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_lianpo_350x441.png
Faction: Jixia Academy
Arena of Valor counterpart: Toro

Liu Bang (刘邦), the Double Monarch (双面君主)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_liubang_350x441.png
Faction: Han
Arena of Valor counterpart: Xeniel

Original Information: Formerly a police officer of the Qin Dynasty and a bit of a scoundrel. Liu Bang answered the call of rebellion by Xiang Yu to overthrow the stagnant Qin Dynasty. However, it eventually became clear that Liu Bang wanted to form his own power base and this brought him into conflict with Xiang Yu. While Xiang Yu was a powerful warrior, Liu Bang was much more political-savvy and a charismatic man who got the services of equally talented people like Han Xin and Zhang Liang. In the end, Liu Bang won the war against Xiang Yu and established his own Han Dynasty, a dynasty which ended up being so beloved by the people and lasted very long (and the warlord of Shu in Three Kingdoms era, Liu Bei, claimed to be his descendant). Yet, after the establishment, Liu Bang showed his own ruthlessness, an after-effect of his political-savviness, at the cost of even betraying his own friends, which was why his overall reputation in the end was actually lower than that of his rival Xiang Yu.

Su Lie (苏烈), the Unyielding Iron Wall (不屈铁壁)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_sulie_350x441.png
Faction: Great Wall
Arena of Valor counterpart: Wiro

  • Auto-Revive: His passive allows him to revive on the spot after losing all HP and charging a bit (and it doesn't have usage limits, only held back with cooldown timer). But, the enemy can keep hitting him while charging up to prevent him from reviving.
  • Caring Gardener: Loves his garden very much, and grows it religiously.
  • Cultured Warrior: Very cultured and a decorated general.
  • Gentle Giant: The Big Guy of the Great Wall guardians is also the calmest, nicest, and most protective amongst the guardians.
  • Mundane Utility: Uses his great wooden pole to shoo field mice out of his gardens
  • Real Menwear Pink: A Talented Pipa player who managed to calm down the tension the peace between the Great Wall and Chang'an.
  • Security Blanket: His garden, he breaks down in tears under a tree one day because the squad took all the fruits of his gardens for a week.
  • Stone Wall: As a tank it is natural he's to be this. It's part of his title after all.

Xiahou Dun (夏侯惇), the Unruly Wind (不羁之风)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_xiahoudun_350x441.png
Faction: Three Kingdoms - Wei
Arena of Valor counterpart: Arduin

Original Information: One of the generals of Wei. A distant family member of Cao Cao's clan, Xiahou Dun answered his call to arms during his formation of the coalition against Dong Zhuo and has been on his side ever since. During the battle against Lu Bu, Xiahou Dun got shot in the eye by a stray arrow. Claiming that he can't discard the essence of his father and mother, he instead ripped his shot eye right after and devoured it. Ever since then, he has been known as the One-Eyed General. While he didn't participate in much of Cao Cao's battles after, he continued to serve Cao Cao loyally and was a competent administrator.

Xiang Yu (项羽), the Overlord (霸王)/Hegemon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_xiangyu_350x441.png
Faction: Hegemon of Chu
Arena of Valor counterpart: Thane

Original Information: A main general of the late Qin dynasty. After seeing the Qin dynasty stagnate, Xiang Yu desired to restore the rule of the Empire back to the pre-Qin state. For that, he gathered many able men to stage a rebellion. The Qin Dynasty was overthrown and he founded the hegemon of Chu, but Xiang Yu was a man who was excelling in battle more than politics. This put him in a conflict against one of his former rebel allies, Liu Bang. Unfortunately, Liu Bang was a much more politically-savvy man with penchant to win over the hearts of the peasantfolk, which put him in a bigger advantage. Despite the odds, Xiang Yu fought against Liu Bang until he met his end. The figure of a tragic hero who fought until his last breaths, Xiang Yu is surprisingly a man more lionized than his rival.

  • Battle Cry: His default second skill is a war cry that not only damages enemies nearby but also scares them into lowering their attack values. Xiang Yu can devalue a damage dealer by getting close and shouting near them.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Xiang Yu hits hard in a wide area and he's also able to dash in a considerable distance as a gap closer or escape. He's also kind of tough on his own, but that will depend on whether he's bought a certain item or not (and even then, it's just a minor Glass Cannon transformation).
  • Official Couple: Much like in history, he's present along with his wife, Consort Yu Ji. To solidify, they have a pair of skins as a married couple.
  • One-Handed Zweihänder: Wields a Chinese great sword with a very long handle with mostly one hand. He can also swing it with two hands for extra might. It's also a personal buyable item only for Xiang Yu, doing that will modify his second skill from a battle roar to an attack-modifier buff where he swings his great sword HARD.
  • Screw Destiny: Not a big fan of fate and destiny, especially when in this continuity, his consort is fated to kill him and he just barely survived the attempt.
"If fate is unfair, I'll defy it!"

Zhu Bajie (猪八戒), the Carefree Warrior (无忧猛士)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hok_zhubajie_350x441.png
Faction: Celestials (Pilgrimage to the West)
Arena of Valor counterpart: Ata

Original Information: One of the chief characters of Journey to the West. He was once known as Marshall Tianpeng, who caught the glimpse of the moon deity Chang'e and flirted with her. This was marked as an offense by the Heavens and he's punished with reincarnation in Earth, but a mishap instead made him reborn as a Pig Man. He then admitted himself to a family as a strong husband, but his inhuman nature made his family wary against him and brought along both the monk Xuanzang and his disciple Sun Wukong. After a scuffle against the Monkey King, he was convinced to join the pilgrimage as an atonement for his crimes and was christened with the name Zhu Bajie. Despite his lecherous tendencies haunting him as his flaws that he continued to wrestle with, Bajie was able to escort Xuanzang to complete his journey and thus completing his atonement and gained the position 'Cleanser of Altars'.

  • Adapted Out: He's completely replaced by Ata in the global version.
  • Bash Brothers: Being in a rare case of Wukong not being the sole Journey to the West representative in a MOBA, this means that Bajie and Wukong tends to stick together like they were in the novel and had each others' backs (unless they're put on a different team), especially in cinematics. There's one more brother that hasn't made it in, however (Sha Wujing).
  • Belly Flop Crushing: His first skill had him deliver a bouncing, double belly flop.
  • Big Eater: Bajie likes to eat a lot. His passive also touches with this: Decreasing his HP will instead leave a meter that Bajie can use to recover quicker whenever he attacks, implying that being hurt makes him hungrier and he needs to 'eat' more to recover quicker.
  • Pig Man: The Pig Man of Chinese stories and myth.
  • Stout Strength: Being a fat pig doesn't stop Bajie to be rather agile, be it to deliver quick Belly Flop Crushing or moving himself quite fast enough when he manages to stick his rake to an obstacle. And he also can dish out continuous damage.
