Miscellaneous Villains

    Palpatine

Darth Sidious / Emperor Sheev Palpatine

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1258869548165.jpg
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter

The Dark Lord of the Sith and Galactic Emperor. He is the Villain Pub's owner and bartender.

  • Adaptation Personality Change: He's more friendly than in the films.
  • Bad Boss: He doesn’t care for the stormtroopers under his command too much just like his Imperial subordinates in Star Wars media, as in the Five Nights at Freddy’s episode, he leaves them with critically low and easily expendable power through the night guard shift and at the mercy of the animatronics - and simply feeds their fallen to Jaws.
  • The Bartender: He provides the other villains of the Pub their drinks.
  • Big Bad: He's at least the highest ranking villain in the Pub as he apparently owns it, as befitting one of the most iconic Big Bad's of all time. He's even got Thanos plunging the toilets! He also came closer than anyone, even the Joker, to defeating Batman, and managed to crack HISHE Batman's Smug Snake confidence.
  • Big "WHAT?!": When he's informed that the new Death Star has a new hole that is big enough for an entire ship to travel through.
  • Cabin Fever: Palpatine begin to suffer this during his self-quarantine from Coronavirus.
  • Contractual Genre Blindness: He's well aware of Bond Villain Stupidity, but knows he has to keep to code.
Palpatine: As standard villain practices go, we must now conveniently leave the room and assume that the killing device achieves its purpose. That, and also because it's closing time and I'm ready to go home.
  • Crazy-Prepared:
    • In the HISHE for Return of the Jedi, he makes sure that there is no exhaust port flaw on the new Death Star.
    • It turns out that he brought attractive female villains to the Pub to attack Batman's weakpoint (beautiful women) and then makes sure to take his utility belt away to make sure that he can't get out of the Bond Villain Stupidity moment on his own. He unfortunately did not account for Doctor Strange to lend a hand or portal
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He's pretty upset when Bowser starts to disintegrate after Thor's unintentional double-Snap.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • He may be the leader of the villains and in-canon the evilest Sith Lord there ever was, but even he takes the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic seriously and shoos the other villains away when they try to hang out in the pub.
    • He also finds using the Force to...."replace" toilet paper to be an ability even he finds to be unnatural.
  • Evil Mentor: Serves as this for Thanos, who he assigns on toilet duty, telling him to feed on his resentment and frustration to make him a better villain.
  • Godzilla Threshold: He has a device that can contact Deadpool but is loathe to use it. When all the villains are being disintegrated by Thor's double-Snap, he has no choice and activates it before he is turned to dust as well.
  • Mundane Utility: Uses bolts of Force Lightning to hand out drinks.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • During The Imposter (Among Us) episode, he shows Homelander the milk he desires, similar to him tempting Ezra with the chance to see his parents again in Rebels. note
    • The amount of power he leaves his Stormtrooper guards with is 66%, referencing Order 66, a Clone Protocol order to eliminate the Jedi.
  • Shock and Awe: Just like in his home series, his Force Lightning is usual bread and butter to drawing out his enemies' pain...or just hand out drinks.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Stop, or I Shoot Myself!: When he fails to convert Anakin to the Dark Side in the Revenge of the Sith episode, he electroshocks himself and blames it on the Jedi.
  • Strike Me Down with All of Your Hatred!: One of the "Subscribe" sequences had him ask the viewer to click to "destroy an entire planet with your hatred". In The Boss Battle, the phrase doesn't work on Batman any more than it worked on Luke, as Batman says that he's already on the Dark Side, because he's the Dark Knight.
  • Vocal Evolution: Starting in the Deadpool episode, his voice begins to emulate his original counterpart a bit more with a more wavering, frail-sounding inflection.
  • Waistcoat of Style: He wears a purple barkeep waistcoat over his Sith robes.

    Lord Voldemort

Tom Marvolo Riddle / Lord Voldemort

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1258869548165_6.jpg
"I hate you guys..."
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter

The mass-murdering Dark Wizard of Britain. He misses the old days.

  • Adaptation Personality Change: He's more petulant, whiny and childish than normal Voldemort, though if you take away the Ax-Crazy violence and intelligence of the latter, this is pretty much all that's left.
  • Affectionate Nickname: The Joker nicknames him "Voldy".
  • Back Stab: Is on the receiving end of one courtesy of the Joker in the Infinity War HISHE.
  • Butt-Monkey: Khan gives Voldemort quite a good roasting during the first official Villain Pub video. The kicker was Joker happily following along, which brings Voldemort's spirits down.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Upon realizing how often they get stiffed at the Oscars:
Voldemort: WTF, you guys! We made 8 movies!!!
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He might hate children, but he thinks that The High Evolutionary sucks.
  • Go-Karting with Bowser: He appears with Harry Potter, Dumbledore and Snape to complain about how Harry Potter movies keep being neglected by Oscars.
  • Gold Makes Everything Shiny: In the Harry Potter Oscar whine-fest, he ends the episode painting himself Gold. Which coupled with his bold pate and his wand stance makes him lok like a Giant-Size Oscar Statuette.
  • Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: His whiny personality and being picked on by other villains makes him oddly endearing and sympathetic.
  • Pet the Dog: In the Halloween special, he gives a group of kids the candy that Joker had stole all night due to them dressing up as monsters. He even enlarges the candy.
  • The Roast: As a counter against Khan's roasting, Voldemort calls him out on being forced into sleep for 300 years despite Khan's claim that he is superior in every way.
  • Say My Name: LOKIIIII!!!
  • Shout-Out:
    • His reaction to the Joker's Suicide Squad (2016) look is quite in tone with the film, since he pronounces the same words as Jared Leto in the movie's Comic-Con trailer.
      Joker: You don't like it?
Voldemort: I mean it's not killing me. It's just hurting me really, really bad.
    • His death in the Infinity War HISHE echoes Spider-Man's from the actual film, complete with Voldemort saying the same exact words before dying.
  • Villainous Friendship: With Joker, they are usually Those Two Guys.
  • Worthy Opponent: Like Harry, he thinks The Artist is a great movie and deserves to win the awards.
  • You Can Talk?: He expresses his surprise that Bowser is able to speak in How Super Mario Should Have Ended.
Voldemort: [To Bowser] I'm sorry but when did you start talking?

    Khan

Khan Noonien Singh

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1258869548165_3.jpg
"I am superior in every way."
Voiced by: Sam Johnson

One of Star Trek's most memorable and remastered, villains. He also happens to be the most popular visitor to the Villain Pub.

  • Deadpan Snarker: Routinely roasts the other patrons, and Voldemort in particular.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: An In-Universe example: Nobody can contain themselves whenever Khan visits the pub.
  • The Roast: After Voldemort claims that he prefers to utterly destroy his enemies, Khan calls him out that Voldemort failed to do so against a baby. He then roasts Voldemort once more saying that having Khan's "Superblood" may have saved the Dark Wizard from being killed a second time.
  • Say My Name: The people of the Villain Pub tend to loudly call out Khan's name when he enters the scene.
  • Smug Super:
Khan: You all seem like zombies to me.

    Bowser

Bowser

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/01_4.png
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter, Brock Baker (Super Mario Bros. Movie HISHE)

The King of the Koopas. He has become the bouncer of the Villain Pub.

  • Art Evolution: In How The Super Mario Bros. Movie Should Have Ended, his design more closely resembles his film version.
  • Bouncer: Expels whoever does not abide to the Pub's rules, be it not being a true villain (Trevor Slattery, the fake Mandarin from Iron Man 3; R the zombie protagonist from Warm Bodies) or not fighting "boss battles" (the ever-going fight between the Alien and the Predator).
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Bowser is too caught up looking at a picture of Peach when Thanos is telling him to get rid of Captain Marvel during the HISHE episode for The Marvels.
  • Girls Like Musicians: He actually gets Peach’s affections in How The Super Mario Bros. Movie Should Have Ended after singing to her.
  • In-Series Nickname: "Bownser".
  • Shout-Out: His death in the Infinity War HISHE echoes Groot's, what with both calling out their companion as their companion mutters a Rapid-Fire "No!".
  • Suddenly Voiced: How The Super Mario Bros. Movie Should Have Ended, he talks like his film counterpart, whereas he previously only communicated in growls. Lampshaded by Voldemort, who asks when did he start talking.
  • Token Nonhuman: Only recurring character of the Villain Pub that is not some form of human or Human Alien (the Alien and the Predator are merely Recurring Extras).
  • The Unintelligible: Inexplicably, he can talk in How Super Mario Should Have Ended but is only able to growl in the Villain pub shorts. He does talk in How The Super Mario Bros. Movie Should Have Ended, which doesn’t go uncommented.

    Jaws

Jaws

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hishejaws.png
"Almost there!"
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter

The great white shark from a famous 1970s movie. He inhabits a giant aquarium in the Villain Pub's cellar.

  • Always Someone Better: Feels this way about the Meg.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Despite helping Flounder get all of Ariel's stuff from the human surface into her collection room and later telling him that he'll eat him, he's genuinely uncomfortable with her man problems during The Little Mermaid HISHE.
  • Evil Gloating: Gleefully tells Batman how he intends to eat him in Villain Pub - The Boss Battle.
  • Fed to the Beast: Palpatine has Batman tied to a chain to be fed to Jaws. In the Five Nights at Freddy's Villain Pub episode, Bowser feeds the Stormtroopers who died from Freddy and his gang.
  • Shark Pool: The Villain Pub's Wine Cellar of Doom (as Palpatine calls it) is situated underwater, with a porthole to see Jaws swim around and a pool to feed him.
  • Slasher Smile: He smiles as he's eager to get Batman for dinner.
  • Talking Animal: Unlike his movie self, he can talk.
  • Vocal Dissonance: And unlike his appearance, his voice is high pitched.
  • Who's on First?: Gets into an argument with King Shark over who's the real King Shark.

    Pennywise

IT / Pennywise the Dancing Clown

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pennywise_5.png
"I don't understand what happened... I had all the kids scared and right where I wanted them... but then suddenly they were all brave and completely stronger than me..."
Voiced by:

The villain from the 2017 movie adaptation of Stephen King's classic horror novel It.

  • Borrowed Catchphrase: Says the Indominus rex's "Aw, nuts!" from "How Jurassic World Should Have Ended" when Georgie flees from him.
  • Halloween Episode: The Villain Pub episode starring him was uploaded on 31 October 2017 and features multiple horror movie villains, complete with a Jack-O-Lantern after the How It Should Have Ended logo.
  • I Know What You Fear: Takes on the form of Darth Vader coming back to the Light Side of the Force to scare Palpatine.
  • Not Afraid of You Anymore: He complains about children not being afraid of him anymore. Most of the Villain Pub patrons admit that his dance didn't look scary.
  • Retro Universe: When IT lands into the Pub, the pub is populated by villains from works set in or made in The '80s (mostly horror villains). Most notably, the Joker is in his Jack Nicholson form.
  • Story-Breaker Power: His Deadlights, which he uses to incapacitate the Losers. He then mutters to himself why he didn't use it earlier.

     The Imposter (SPOILERS)

    Freddy Fazbear’s crew

Freddy Fazbear’s crew

The eponymous Freddy Fazbear from the survival horror franchise and his companions Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Palpatine comes into possession of them and uses them as entertainment, but they become hostile during the night shift.

  • Always a Bigger Fish: Though they’re downright lethal to the rank and file stormtroopers, they’re no match for a whole Sith Lord. Springtrap jumps Palpatine but is quickly shoved away with the Force. This surely goes for every other villain who isn’t a normal human as well, explaining why none of the villains seem to feel too threatened by them even when they’re up late at night with them.
  • The Cameo: Springtrap briefly attacks Palpatine towards the end of the video, and Golden Freddy shows up at the very end as well.
  • Jumpscare: It wouldn’t be the Fazbear crew without them. Since HISHE isn’t a horror series, however, the jumpscares they commit are mercifully less loud and in-your-face (though that’s also because the episode is told in the third-person compared to the first-person perspective of the original game).
  • Knight of Cerebus: While their episode still has plenty of comedy, they’re played pretty seriously as threats to the hapless stormtroopers on guard duty. Most of the episode’s comedy is also of the black kind just like their source material.
  • No-Sell: Springtrap only manages to startle Palpatine but is easily tossed aside with the Force.
  • Super-Persistent Predator: Like in the games, their efforts to kill the stormtrooper guards ramp up considerably as the week advances.

Marvel Cinematic Universe Villains

    Loki

Loki

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/05_001_6.jpg
"I was going to fool everyone, take Odin's throne for my own..."
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter

Everyone's favorite MCU villain, the God of Mischief and Lies.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Zod nicknames him "Lok."
  • Alternate Self: "Into the Loki-Verse" introduces seven variants of him from his own show.
  • Art Evolution: He has a longer nose and longer hair than he had in How Thor Should Have Ended by the time of How the Avengers Should Have Ended. How Thor the Dark World Should Have Ended gave him his definitive look and a different voice as he became a regular of the Villain Pub.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: In the Thor: Ragnarok episode, Batman and Superman are extremely uneasy sitting next to Loki at the Super Café because of the latter's tendency to betray anyone at a moment's notice.
Loki: Yes, everyone is happy and good.
    Batman: Hmm.
    Superman: This is weird.
Batman: Yeah, I'm not comfortable with this.
Loki: What's wrong, Batman? Don't you trust that I'm a good guy now?
Batman: Nobody in their right mind should trust you.
  • Cool Helmet: Averted. The other Villain Pub patrons think it looks silly.
  • Curse Cut Short: He starts uttering "Son of a..." when Odin casts him out of Asgard.
  • Everyone Has Standards: He may enjoy trolling the villains and his half-brother Thor, but he calls Batman's method of putting a tracking device up Harley's nose, ala Total Recall, [[Squick gross]].
  • Evil Is Cool: invoked Other villains agree about this regarding Loki.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Because of his heroic actions in Thor: Ragnarok, Loki is permitted at the Super Café, but Batman and Superman still question if his redemption is sincere.
Loki: My dear Batman, do you think I'm going to get people's hopes up and ultimately let them down when the time comes?
    Batman: Yes.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: In The Boss Battle, he uses his decoy illusion trick against Batman... only to get "decoyed" himself by the Dark Knight, who then takes his scepter and shoots him with it.
  • I Warned You: Says this near verbatim when Kang and his Variants are everywhere in the Villain Pub during the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania episode.
  • Ironic Echo: During "Into the Loki-Verse", when Loki's actions during his show cause him not to be a member of the Villain Pub anymore, he leaves and says the same thing Malekith said to him to Joker, Zod, Voldemort, and Palpatine.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: He is very proud of his fashion sense and brags about his outfit being tasteful Asgardian leather... Except for the helmet.
  • The Smart Guy: Pretty good at poking holes and picking apart other bad guy plans.
  • The Roast: He points out to Malekith how he's an amateur villain, because the Dark Elf somehow had his plan foiled by four regular humans of Earth (two scientists and two interns) carrying nothing but tripods.
  • Sole Survivor: The only villain who isn't disintegrated by Thor at the end of Infinity War.
  • Sophisticated as Hell: "Sayeth whaaat?!"
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: Malekith whines about how his movie got overshadowed by Loki. Loki and Zod then basically tell him to get lost.
  • Troll: Especially towards Voldemort.

    Ultron

Ultron

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/00000_000001_0_13_copie2.jpg
"They never even stood a chance!"
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter

The A.I. gone rogue that was created by Tony Stark.

  • Achilles' Heel: Magneto shows up in How Avengers: Age of Ultron Should Have Ended – Part Two and curb-stomps him and his whole robot army in no time, as they're made of metal.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: He renders the Avengers powerless and carries out his mass extinction scheme without breaking a sweat in How Avengers: Age of Ultron Should Have Ended – Part One. Even the Villain Pub is destroyed after he casually gloated about his victory over the Avengers with the other villains. It takes Superman travelling in time to fix the mess.
  • Break Them by Talking: In How the Avengers: Age of Ultron Teaser Should Have Ended, he breaks the Avengers... by reciting several stanzas of songs from movies of the Disney Animated Canon in addition to the Pinocchio one used in the actual teaser. The Avengers just can't stand it.
  • Crazy-Prepared: He takes control of everything that is electronic, computerized or linked to the Internet and leaves absolutely no chance to counter-attack to the Avengers in How Avengers: Age of Ultron Should Have Ended – Part One.
  • Curse Cut Short: When in Part Two, Vision, Thor and Iron Man are shooting their beams on him, they stop like in the film itself, but unlike the film, they start shooting them again after realizing that they stopped for no reason. This prompts Ultron to say:
    Ultron: Son of a...
    Cap: Language!
    [Ultron explodes]
  • False Reassurance: He tells Shuri during the Wankanda Forever episode that A.I. will definitely not threaten humanity in the future.
  • I'm Melting!: Says this verbatim when hit with the Xenomorph's acid during the The Boss Battle.

    Thanos

Thanos

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/01_15.png
"Fine. I'll do it myself!"
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter (as an adult), Luke Baxter (as Baby Thanos)

The biggest threat the MCU has to face... currently plunging toilets for Palpatine.

  • Adaptational Attractiveness: Baby Thanos basically looked like his adult self in the comics. Here, he's absolutely adorable.
  • All for Nothing: In the Infinity War HISHE, Thor cuts off his arm and takes the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos. In the Deadpool 2 HISHE, Deadpool takes the Gauntlet and uses it to make chimichangas and erase Thanos's mouth. Regardless, he fails to get the Infinity Gauntlet that he spent 10 years trying to claim. Even the alternate Endgame HISHE does him no favors since the Avengers manage to travel back to the time before Thanos can get rid of the Infinity Stones on his farm.
  • An Arm and a Leg: In the Infinity War HISHE, as well as the Alternate Endgame HISHE, he has his arm cut off by Thor.
  • Berserk Button: Don't touch the Infinity Gauntlet or its Stones before his time. He was content to sit out Batman's raid on the Villain Pub, but once he got his hands on the Gauntlet, he immediately leapt into action.
  • Butt-Monkey: Throughout the series, he's made into a janitor at the pub, gets beaten up by Batman after he loses his gauntlet to him, destroyed by Ego's expansion, gets his arm chopped off by one of Dr. Strange's portals which leads to him falling to his death, gets turned into a baby by Dr. Strange, loses the Infinity Gauntlet to Nebula (who uses it to kill him), gets his arm chopped off by Thor's axe Stormbreaker, accidentally turned to dust by Thor, is forced to sacrifice his throne to obtain the Soul Stone, gets sent flying into space by Heimdall along with his minions, gets his mouth erased by Deadpool (who also steals his gauntlet), and finally gets killed on his farm by Thor before getting resurrected and forced to serve as Palpatine's janitor once more.
    • His 2014 self in Endgame gets pinned down by Thor and brutally beaten by Cap and Tony before getting decapitated by Thor, gets decapitated by Wong (who also sucks his army into the Mirror Dimension), gets crumpled up by Scarlet Witch, and then gets somehow snapped out of existence by Batman.
  • Character Catchphrase: "It's not my time."
  • Cheerful Child: As baby Thanos.
  • Companion Cube: His throne, which he's almost always sitting on prior to the Infinity War HISHE. In the alternate Infinity War HISHE, he's forced to sacrifice it obtain the Soul Stone.
  • Disney Villain Death / Funny Background Event: In the first possible outcome where the heroes defeat him in How Avengers Infinity War Should Have Ended, after getting his arm chopped off by one of Dr. Strange's portals, you can see him fall to his death in the background.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Batman beats him up with the Infinity Gauntlet in Villain Pub - The Boss Battle. Then in the Infinity War HISHE, he gets sucker-punched into oblivion by his adoptive daughter Nebula with said Gauntlet.
  • I Need to Iron My Dog: His answer when Ronan asks him why he doesn't move from his chair.
Thanos: I can't get out of this chair. It's not my time. Plus, my legs are asleep.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: In the Ragnarok episode, he finally gets up off the toilet, grabs the Space Stone, and is ready for the Infinity War.
  • Misblamed: In-universe. At the end of How Deadpool 2 Should Have Ended, he blames Deadpool of wrecking his time, even though it was Thor who chopped off his arm.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: In The Marvels HISHE, he still harbors resentment towards Captain Marvel for beating him up and having to sacrifice the Power Stone just to properly fight back, leaving him open for Iron Man to steal all the Infinity Stones and snap him and his army out of existence. The Mad Titan even orders Bowser to take Carol out of the Pub since she's still a Hero and thus doesn't abide by the rules, though Bowser's too busy looking at a picture of Peach to notice.
  • Orcus on His Throne: In How Guardians of the Galaxy Should Have Ended, Ronan calls him out on the fact that he's permanently sitting on his chair. By the time of The Boss Battle, he's found a new throne. Ragnarok shows, however, that he's finally ready to get the party started.
    • Parodied in the Spider-Man: Homecoming HISHE, as he shows up and declares himself to be the only "guy in the chair."
  • Running Gag: As seen in the The Boss Battle episode, it's still not his time.
  • Stand-Up Comedy: He makes a joke at the expense of Dormammu using a microphone like a stand-up comedian (and he's still sitting on his throne) in How Doctor Strange Should Have Ended.
"Dormammu is so fat, everywhere he goes becomes the dark dimension."
  • There Can Only Be One: Used verbatim in the Spider-Man: Homecoming HISHE, where he responds to Ned requesting to be Peter's "guy in the chair" with this line.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: This is his reaction to Nebula using his Infinity Gauntlet to punch him into oblivion.
  • Villain Decay:
    • In the Avengers: Age of Ultron episode, he is last seen equipping the Infinity Gauntlet... then Palpatine orders him to clean a toilet with a plunger. By the Boss Battle short, he is still sitting on this "throne", and Batman easily steals him the Infinity Gauntlet and beats the shit out of him before taking on the Joker. In the Infinity War HISHE, he gets the Gauntlet cut off by Doctor Strange, gets turned into a baby by Strange, is punched to oblivion by Nebula, gets his left arm cut off by Thor, and finally gets accidentally disintegrated by Thor.
    • Lampshaded in Guardians Vol. 2 when Ego succeeds with his Expansion plan, which swallows Earth and the Villain Pub, with Thanos muttering that he doesn't approve being beaten to the punch.

    Malekith

Malekith the Accursed

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hishemalekith.jpg
"Hey, Loki! Thanks for hogging my spotlight, you jerk!"
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter

The Dark Elf nobody takes seriously.

  • An Arm and a Leg: He got both arms severed by Selvig's gravitational tripods' portals in Thor: The Dark World, and thus appears as such in the film's HISHE short.
  • Generic Doomsday Villain: He gets mocked for having a plan that sounds way too cliché for the Pub's regulars. And he's way too uncharismatic to be in the same league as them (and since Loki stole him the spotlight...).
Zod: Noob think because he has an army he's automatically the next big thing.
  • The Roast: He gets roasted by the Villain Pub's regulars for being uncharismatic and being defeated in a stupid manner. A "The Reason You Suck" Speech from Loki prompts him to leave the Pub.

"NOOO!!! You were supposed to collapse from ze inside!"
Voiced by: Joshua Ovenshire

A former Sokovian special operations colonel with a very personal (and not so well-planned) vendetta against the Avengers.

  • Big "NO!": He does two of them:
    • The first one is when Iron Man spares Bucky's life instead of succumbing to Revenge Before Reason.
    • The second one happens when he finds out Bucky has plugged his ears to not listen to the Russian Manchurian Agent trigger words.
  • Butt-Monkey: Both of his plans fail, and in the alternate scene for the Civil War hishe he's squeezed into a jet with Black Panther and Iron Man and reduced to making petty taunts.
  • Didn't Think This Through: He didn't count on Iron Man's forgiveness, and he also didn't expect Bucky to simply plug his ears, nullifying the effect of the trigger words.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: His whole plan hinged on something as simple as Bucky apologizing and Tony forgiving him not happening.
  • Failure Is the Only Option: Many villains managed to win in HISHE, due to being utterly defeated in their actual movies. It's not the case here since his movie self manages to tear the Avengers apart. Here his attempts to pit the Avengers against each other fail repeatedly instead.
  • I Shall Taunt You: Taunts Iron Man in the alternate ending of the Civil War HISHE, which almost causes the Quinjet to crash.
  • Shipper on Deck: In The Stinger of How Captain America Civil War Should Have Ended, he is seen playing with action figures of Iron Man and Captain America, making them kiss each other.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Played for Laughs when Iron Man calms down, leading to him throwing a childish tantrum at his plan being foiled.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: His "Come on!" as Iron Man completely foils his plan.

    Dormammu

Dormammu

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dormammuhishe.jpg
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter

The great evil entity ruling the Dark Dimension.

  • Borrowed Catchphrase: Borrows Voldemort's "I hate you guys..." following Thanos' Incredibly Lame Pun.
  • I Lied: He comes back and crushes Doctor Strange after the time loop bargain that had Strange coercing him to leave the Earth alone.
Dormammu: (crushes Strange) PSYCH! Just kidding, I changed my mind!

"Dubstep?"
Voiced by:

An Oscorp electrical engineer who turned into an electricity-controlling being and became an enemy of Spider-Man.

  • Costume Evolution: When he returns in the No Way Home HISHE, his design is changed to match his appearance in that movie.
  • Dubstep: He becomes a successful dubstep DJ after Spider-Man suggests him to try his luck in that business.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: The Dead Pool has him against the idea that Thanos might kill Spider-Man in Infinity War, while the Vulture and Thanos consider him fair game. To be fair, it's not the same Spider-Man he went up against himself.
  • Happy Ending: Spider-Man encourages him to become a dubstep musician, as "kids love that stuff", which he does, with much success. The Villain Pub then celebrates his birthday, and his album goes platinum.
  • Mundane Utility: He uses his powers to produce dubstep music.
  • Not-So-Forgotten Birthday: A photo shows the whole Villain Pub celebrating his birthday in the Happy Ending sequence of How The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Should Have Ended, a far cry from the actual movie where the lack of attention people had towards him was a major factor in his descent into villainy.

    Apocalypse

En Sabah Nur / Apocalypse

"I need powerful mutants on my side, and I have this weird thing where I can only use four, and the best you can do is Birdman over here?!"
Voiced by:

The First One, an ancient powerful mutant... and kind of a Generic Doomsday Villain who could make better use of his powers.

  • Crazy-Prepared: He summons a small pyramid above himself and Charles Xavier so the Grand Theft Me ritual he wants to accomplish in the film to have his mind transferred into Xavier's body in order to gain his telepathic powers won't be interrupted.
  • Generic Doomsday Villain: As pointed out by Quicksilver.
Peter: The whole "World Domination" thing? It's super-played out...
  • Happy Ending: He doesn't end up disintegrated by the Phoenix and becomes a hairdresser / makeover specialist on Xavier's, Storm's and Moira's suggestion.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: He is baffled at the fact that Angel, the "powerful" mutant Storm and Psylocke told him to pick up as Horseman, is just a guy with wings.

"Thought it was time for a change!"
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter (The Dark Knight Joker), John Tillman (DCEU Joker)

You know him, you love him, the Clown Prince of Crime.

  • The Ace: His portrayal in the trio with Loki and Voldemort is given with this vibe. Considering the time he has films decades before them and the time he spent at the pub in the 80's.
  • Adaptational Heroism: The Joker HISHE has him adopted by the Waynes, and once they die, he instead becomes a superhero named Wisecracker with Bruce as his sidekick, Bat-Boy.
  • Adaptation Personality Change: He is genuinely friendly and affable in HISHE when compared to his Monster Clown self in the Dark Knight trilogy.
  • Affably Evil: He's the friendliest member of the Villain Pub regulars.
  • Back Stab: Does this to Voldemort in the Infinity War HISHE.
  • Bandage Mummy: After Batman rams him with the Batpod in the Dark Knight episode.
  • Character Catchphrase: "Do you wanna know how I got these scars?"
  • Characterization Marches On: He'd been portrayed with his The Dark Knight appearance since the series' inception, but in August 2015 he switched to his Suicide Squad look, much to the ire of his fellow bad guys. When he is turned back to the previous appearance in Villain Pub - Boss Battle, nobody complains.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: The other villains didn't want to give him the time of day when he first visited the Pub, resulting in him promising to outshine them all in the coming decades as one of the greatest villains of all time.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: The Villain Pub don't like his Suicide Squad outfit. When Batman punches him back in time across his appearances with the Infinity Gauntlet, they decide not to stop him, probably because it makes him end up back on his The Dark Knight self.
Loki: Should we try... to stop him?
Voldemort: Not in this case, no, I don't think so.
  • The Heart: Everybody loved the Joker in The Dark Knight and everybody loves him here too. Voldemort admits he can't stay mad at him. His switch to his Suicide Squad outfit was less well-received.
  • Lounge Lizard: In the Suicide Squad HISHE, he sings a new cover of "I Started a Joke"note  on a stage at the Pub, twisting the lyrics into laments about most of the scenes he shot being cut out of the movie.
Loki: Oh, the cutting room blues...
  • Origins Episode: How Joker Should Have Ended, much like how the source film portrayed a possible origin for the character, shows the first time Joker visited the Villain Pub.
  • Shout-Out: His various versions show up in cameos at times. Most notably, Batman punches him repeatedly with the Infinity Gauntlet in the "Boss Battle" short, and he turns into every major version of himself backwards in time with each punch (Heath Ledger, Mark Hamill, Jack Nicholson and even Cesar Romero).
  • Strawman Has a Point: invoked
    • After Loki shoos away Malekith when the latter called out the Norse God for taking his precious screen-time, Joker points out that Malekith has a case considering that the Dark World movie was too focused on showing off Loki rather than taking the time to develop the war against the Dark Elves.
    • invoked When Bane says that it's too soon in regards to him switching from his Dark Knight appearance to Suicide Squad, Joker points out "it's been seven years".
  • Wild Card: He admits this is his strategy, he likes to mix things up and keep people on their toes.

    General Zod

General Dru-Zod of Kandor

"Heroes are so annoying..."
Voiced by: Daniel Baxter

The military leader of Krypton who will forever be remembered as the guy whose neck was snapped by Superman.

  • Brutal Honesty: He reminds Loki that Odin would have most likely given him the throne to Asgard had the god just been a better son to his adopted father.
  • Continuity Snarl: Played for laughs after Batman defeats him, where he comments how he clearly remembers his body being turned into Doomsday the last time they fought.
  • Demoted to Extra: Zig-zagged. Zod starts off looking like one of the main recurring villains in the Dark World HISHE, but ends up getting pushed to the background in later Villain Pub videos. However, he does eventually return to being one of the pub's main patrons again several years later.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Has one when Loki informs him that he was better off trying to colonize Mars over Earth.
Zod: You're blowing my mind, Lok!
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He is a fan of Groot and is upset that Thanos killed him in Infinity War, and flat out punched the High Evolutionary for killing him in one of the endings.
  • Hypocritical Humor: When everyone is criticizing The Joker's "Unnecesary Makeover", Bane complains about unnecesary reboots, when Zod almost joins before remembering his last encounter with Superman was a reboot itself.
  • Kryptonite Factor: As with all Kryptonians, Zod is vulnerable to Kryptonite which Batman exploits when he raids the Villain Pub.
Zod: [after batman puts a Kryptonite necklace on him] Oh poop! He's got Kryptonite!... I'm out. [collapses on the floor]
  • Neck Snap: Due to how Zod was killed off in Man of Steel, the show makes fun of him by always having him wear a neck brace.
  • Pretender Diss: Calls Malekith a "Noob" for thinking his plan of destroying earth is interesting.

    Bane

Bane

"No, listen! You guys are the ones that will make me blow it up, OK? You're kind of ruining my speech here!"
Voiced by:

The venom-enhanced physical threat to Batman in The Dark Knight Rises, who isn't actually venom-enhanced. He's best known for breaking the Bat's back.

  • Adaptation Personality Change: He has some pretty genuinely goofy moments compared to his actual movie self, such as getting in a bitter argument with the prisoners of Gotham over what to do with the city nuke.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Expecting a brutal fight with Batman, Bane becomes confused when he gets hit by a Bat tranquilizer.
  • The Gadfly: Bane gets a short bonus-clip connected to the The Dark Knight Rises HISHE where he gets in a verbal argument with the prisoners over what to do with his city nuke. He chooses to get rid of it to make the prisoners happy only to reveal that he's not going to do it, which irritates the prisoners.
  • Recurring Character: Despite not being one of the main patrons of the Villain Pub, he makes the occasional appearance off to the side, such as being the one to discuss villain masks.
  • Shout-Out: His defeat to Batman in The Dark Knight Rises HISHE, who shoots tranquilizer bat-darts at him, has a similar Major Injury Underreaction to the Great Goblin from the first Hobbit movie.

    Harley Quinn

Harleen Frances Quinzel / Harley Quinn

"I say we give him a chance!"
Voiced by: Melissa Tillman ("The New Smile" episode only), Anna Brisbin

The Joker's girlfriend. She has been coerced into serving in the Suicide Squad

  • BFG: Wields a bazooka in Bat Blood.
  • Boom, Headshot!: Rick Flag shoots her in the head in the alternate ending of the Joker's Gunship Rescue scene in Suicide Squad.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: She appeared in Villain Pub - The New Smile, the first HISHE short to feature characters from Suicide Squad, and Bat Blood.
  • The Exile: Her and the rest of the Suicide Squad are kicked out of the Villain Pub for not being "true villains" (as they saved the world). However, she comes back in The Boss Battle to knock Batman out. She is seemingly accepted again in the Pub afterwards.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: When she's told that Katana's sword traps its victims' souls, she thinks it sounds exciting and wonders if they're going to get to see it in action (they don't).
  • The Pollyanna: She's the only person in the whole Villain Pub who is enthusiastic about Jared Leto's Joker once his (divisive) look is revealed, and she's very willing to give him a chance to prove that he can be a great villain. Subverted during the HISHE for Birds of Prey where she immediately goes over to Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, saying that's exactly how she wanted him to look the first time.

    Deadshot

Floyd Lawton / Deadshot

Voiced by:

A hitman with Improbable Aiming Skills and the secondary leader of the Suicide Squad.

  • I Need a Freaking Drink: He badly needs a drink after the battle against Enchantress. Harley Quinn then suggests the Suicide Squad to go to the Villain Pub.
  • Take a Third Option: In the HISHE alternate ending of Suicide Squad, when Amanda Waller offers the Squad two options — going back to prison or getting their heads blown off —, Deadshot simply shoots her in the head, and shoots her detonator app phone as well.

    Captain Boomerang

George "Digger" Harkness / Captain Boomerang

Voiced by:

A bank robber who skillfully uses bommerangs and was coerced into serving in the Suicide Squad.

  • Bank Robbery: What he is seen doing in the Batman GO short when Batman catches him.
  • Boomerang Comeback: As Killer Croc is about to throw the bomb at Enchantress' vortex, Boomerang asks him if he can do it himself since throwing things is his shtick and he didn't have much things to do up to this point. He then throws it... only for it to somehow come back like a boomerang and explode in the Squad's face.
  • Rogues' Gallery Transplant: Captain Boomerang is an enemy of the Flash usually, and he's arrested by Batman in Batman GO.
  • Vocal Evolution: His voice was deep in Batman GO. In Suicide Squad, his voice is lighter.

    El Diablo

Chato Santana / El Diablo

Voiced by:

A latino gang leader with pyrokinetic powers who was coerced into serving in the Suicide Squad.

  • Disney Death: He turns up alive in Suicide Squad's HISHE after the Final Battle, whereas he likely died with his Heroic Sacrifice in the actual movie.
  • Naked People Are Funny: When he's revealed to have survived the battle against Incubus and Enchantress, his clothes have burned off and he's naked, covering his intimate parts with his hands.
