Fighters

    Welltaro
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_welltaro.png
(Content Spotlight)

Welltaro is a curious individual who must explore a deep, hazardous well, equipped with the perfect tools for the job: a pair of gunboots that he can use control his decent and dispatch enemies in one go. Through the use of various ammo modules and styles, Welltaro can approach his increasingly perilous decent in a multitude of ways.

In Fraymakers, Welltaro's gunboots give him a play-style geared towards racking up damage and spiking opponents. True to his source material, Welltaro has a limited amount of ammo once he leaves the ground; scoring hits recharges his gunboots one by one, and landing recharges them fully. Certain shots consume multiple charges, so going for offstage glory can be a big risk.

Welltaro is also an assist; when summoned, he'll jump and fire a wide downward shot from his gunboots, serving as a reliable combo extender. He costs 50%.
  • Armed Legs: His central gimmick is the use of his "gunboots" to fight.
  • Balloonacy: He neutral-special activates a Heart Balloon, making him floatier.
  • Extremity Extremist: Welltaro kicks for the majority of his moves, given the power afforded by his gunboots. His forward- and up-tilts in particular have him using Handstand Style to accomplish this. The main exception so far is him using Arm-Flail Style for his neutral combo.
  • Blush Stickers: Gains a pair for a split second when using the heart balloon.
  • Long-Range Fighter: A variant: Welltaro is the main roster's premier projectile user, but rather than shooting them horizontally, most of his attacks launch them vertically. As a result, a lot of his gameplan involves staying away from opponents, while still being either above or below them.
  • Recoil Boost: Much like his home game, shots from Welltaro's gunboots can briefly stall him from falling in the air.
  • Rocket Jump: his up-special.
  • Rolling Attack: His dash attack uses Boulder Style to roll up and knock opponents over.
  • Shockwave Stomp: His down-strong attack has stomp the ground, setting off explosions on either side based off of the Gunpowder Blocks.
  • Wave-Motion Gun: His down-special.

    Orcane
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_orcane.png
(Content Spotlight)

Orcane is a water-elemental trickster and thief, using his puddle-jumping skills to slip in-and-out of the miserly Water Trading Company to steal goods for its many underpaid workers. So good is he that the Water Merchants end up secretly hiring him to investigate a theft from the Air Armada.

In Fraymakers, Orcane carries over his kit from Rivals of Aether, with the addition of universal mechanics such as throws, ledge grabbing, and airdashing. His game-plan focuses on conjuring puddles that he can use for teleporting, boosting his strong attacks, or evaporating for direct offense.

Orcane is also an assist; when summoned, he'll leap back and fire a mighty stream of bubbles. He costs 50%.

See also Characters.Rivals Of Aether for further information
  • Bubble Gun: His forward air and down special fire a multi-hitting bubble jet.
  • Home Stage: His is the Merchant Port the regularly robs from.
  • Making a Splash: As in his home game, Orcane utilizes water powers in a number of tricky ways.
  • Mythology Gag: Their entire moveset is straight up replicating their kit from Rivals of Aether, with the sole changes being ledge mechanics, grabs, throws, and getup attacks, which no Rivals character had in the original game.
  • Portal Pool: He's capable of placing puddles of water and teleporting to them with his up special.
  • Water Is Blue: A water-based fighter who's colored deep blue.

    Ultra Fishbunjin 3000
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_ultra_fishbunjin_3000.png
(Content Spotlight)

Fishbuns are normally the most basic, nonthreatening enemies encountered in the Ittle Dew series... except for one. Through an intense regimen of push-ups, sit-ups, and plenty of juice, this particular specimen boasts a hulking frame, and can swing barebells and tank hits with ease. Since then, Ultra Fishbunjin 3000 has become something of a Breakout Character, since a weightlifting platypus leaves quite the impression.

In Fraymakers, Ultra Fishbunjin 3000 reprises his role from Slap City as the archetypal "tank", being the heaviest fighter in the game. He hits hard and can build some serious momentum, but remains highly susceptible to combos if he isn't careful.

See also Characters.Slap City for more information

    The Watcher
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_the_watcher.png
(Content Spotlight)

Four outcasts, each for their own reasons, have made it their mission to ascend an ominous, monster-laden Spire and destroy the Corrupt Heart within. One such outcast is the Watcher, a blind ascetic who seeks to "evaluate" the Spire on behalf of her peer, who mysteriously disappeared. Her fighting style revolves around her divine stances, specifically by switching between Calm and Wrath until she can achieve Divinity.

In Fraymakers, the Watcher brings her Stance System in the battle. Her down special switches between Calm, which increases jump height, and Wrath, which increases speed and damage (both dealt and taken). Landing a hit grants her a Mantra, and gaining five each stance with activate Divinity, which combines the positives of both stance, as well as the ability to cancel her moves into one another.

See also Characters.Slay The Spire for further information
  • Home Stage: Her's is the eponymous Spire that her home game centers upon.
  • The Smurfette Principle: The only female among the playable fighters so far.
  • Stance System: She can switch between her Jack of All Stats "Calm" stance and a Glass Cannon "Wrath" stance at will. Collecting five mantras in each stance will unlock her Lightning Bruiser "Divinity" stance. Her neutral-special also changes with each stance, being the healing "Like Water" when Calm, the multi-hitting "Reach Heaven" in Wrath, and the highly powerful "Conclude" when in Divinity.

    Octodad
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_octodad.png
(Content Spotlight)

Octodad is nothing more than your average everyday devoted husband and stay-at-home Family Man. He also happens to be an octopus, much to the surprise of almost everyone who knows him. Even though his skills are in the house and not the battlefield, he's able to pack a punch with his stretchy limbs.

In Fraymakers, Octodad is a tricky fighter with long, flexible arms and legs (strangely reminiscent of octopus tentacles, huh) to strike at long range and unique angles. His moves require careful precision to pull off, or he'll be wide open for counterattack.

See also Characters.Octodad for further information
  • Adaptational Badass: His home game contains little-to-no combat, seeing as he's just a father of two. Here, he can throw down with seasoned adventurers, athletes, and the like.
  • Badass in a Nice Suit: Wears a dapper blue suit by default.
  • Banana Peel: His dash attack is to slip on a discarded peel, of which were conspicuously omnipresent in his home game.
  • Combat Tentacles: Throws punches, chops, and kicks with his tentacle limbs.
  • Fighting Clown: He has an insanely goofy way of fighting; most of his attacks more closely resemble aggressively flailing in the direction of his opponents more than they do actual attacks.
  • Home Stage: His is the Backyard where usually does his daily chores.
  • Instant Flight: Just Add Spinning!: His neutral special — which is spinning his tentacles like a helicopter — helps him get a little extra height when recovering.
  • Killer Bear Hug: His side-special is a command grab in which he catches the opponent in a tight hug. The "Killer" part appears to be unintentional, though.
  • Long Range Combatant: His stretchy limbs give his moves incredible reach. His down tilt, for example, has range longer than he is tall. As a tradeoff, said moves tend to have a fair bit of windup that shorter-range characters can exploit.
  • Palette Swap: He has three based on his wife and kids, and even one based on Chef Fujimoto.
  • Spin Attack: His down-strong.

    Commander Video
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_commandervideo.png
(Content Spotlight)

The mind screwy psychedelic beats of BIT.TRIP discreetly chronicles the life of CommanderVideo, an alien athlete of unknown origin. Throughout his journey, CV discovers such concepts as life, ego, kindness, friendship, enmity, and reflection as he runs, jumps, slides, and kicks to the ongoing rhythm.

In Fraymakers, CommanderVideo boasts a fast and aggressive rush-down game-plan focused on maintaining momentum. His appearance comes from the RUNNER sub-series, while his move-set sprinkles in homages from across the entire series, even quickly morphing him into the control objects from earlier games.

CommanderVideo is also an assist; when summoned, he'll become the paddle from BIT.TRIP BEAT and deflect any projectiles in front of the summoner. He costs 100%.
  • Art Evolution: As shown off in this update, several of CV's animations were touched up to look more likely.
  • Attack Reflector: His down-special and assist move see him turn into a paddle that can deflect any projectile.
  • Close-Range Combatant: His fighting style is based around getting right in your opponent's face and staying there until they get knocked out.
  • Dance Battler: He performs a freeze for his up-tilt.
  • Everything's Better with Rainbows: His signature rainbow trail appears whenever he lands a hit, and disappears when he takes one. When it's out, his airdash gains a hitbox.
  • Eye Beams: He fires a blue laser blast (homaging BIT.TRIP FATE) from his visor for several of his stronger moves.
  • Home Stage: Stratostar, the first level of Welkin Wonderland, in turn the first world of Runner2.
  • Three-Strike Combo: His standard attack consists of two punches into a headbutt.
  • Video Game Sliding: He uses his Slide from the RUNNER series for his down-tilt and side-special. The former is animated in homage to the earlier titles, while the latter comes from his later titles and serves as the cornerstone of his combo game.

Assists

Assist characters are the central mechanic of Fraymakers. They function similarly to assists seen in more traditonal fighting games, being summoned at the press of a button once their meter is full, and perform a single move that suits their more competitive functionality. They are organized by the amount of damage one must deal to fill their meter, and assists that are also available as fighters shall not be repeated here.

50-75%

    Birthday
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_birthday_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

Everyone in the realm of Hatlandia quite literally lives and dies by their hats; not only are they a player's primary means of offence, they're also their Soul Jar — if one gets stomped, it's wearer croaks. Luckily, players come back just as easily — Birthday here considers every day his birthday specifically because he's been reborn again and again and again.

When summouned, Birthday will launch his hat in an arc forward, bouncing off opponents and launching them upwards on contact.

    Nikandreos
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_nikandreos_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

At the end of the Iron Age, Zeus has grown displeased with mankind and condemns them to death of deprivation. One warrior from the village of Dion takes up arms to topple the Gods themselves, potentially claiming their powers for himself and eventually achieving godhood.

When summoned, Nikandreos will perform a quick stab into uppercut with his xiphos, perfect for starting and extending combos.
  • Cool Sword: He might be a Walking Armory in his home game, but his xiphos is all he needs here.
  • Simple, yet Awesome: A two-hit sword combo might just be among the least flashy assist moves ever, but it's quick startup make it a highly versatile combo move.

    Kiwi the Bard
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_thebard_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

When the world faces imminent destruction, everyone expects The Hero to save the day, not knowing that an Angel has sought out someone else. That someone is a pacifistic Quirky Bard who sings For Happiness, and must now seek out the seven Overseers of the world to learn the legendary Earthsong.

When summoned, the Bard will sing to grant the player their song wheel, which pushes away any opponent on contact, impactfully disrupting their game-plan.

See also Characters.Wandersong for more information

    Josef
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_josef_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

Josef is your average steampunk robot inhabiting the run-down city of Machinarium, until he finds himself thrown out in the nearest scrapheap. For there, Josef must reassemble himself, make his way back home, and thwart the nefarious Black Hat Brotherhood behind all of this.

When summoned, Josef will use his segmented body to quickly extend straight upward, hitting any opponent in his way.

    The Ape
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_theape_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

Exactly how "Subject 4", aka the Ape, entered human captivity in unknown, as is the facility that dared to imprison it. All the Ape knows is that it wants out, and it's not shy about making Ludicrous Gibs of any would-be captor in its way. An adaptive all-percussion jazz soundtrack punctuates the Ape's chaotic quest for freedom.

When summoned, the Ape will barrel forward, grabbing hold of the first opponent it touches and hurling them straight ahead.

    Captain Viridian
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_captainviridian_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

When the D.S.S. Souley crash-lands into Another Dimension and an evacuation attempt goes awry, it's up to Captain Viridian to find the other five crew-mates. As opposed to the usual Jump Physics, Viridian must navigate the labyrinthine realm by flipping his personal gravity at will.

When summoned, Viridian will appear by the player's side, briefly flipping their gravity and sending them upward.

    The Kid
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_iwbtgkid_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

Equipped with only the Very Small Gun and the Cape of Heroes, a 15-year-old kid known simply as "The Kid" sets out of a quest to become "The Guy". Unfortunately, he's a One-Hit-Point Wonder facing one of the most sadistically, unfairly, inhumanly, over-the-top Platform Hellscapes known to gaming.

When summoned, The Kid runs forward beneath a slow-falling Delicious Fruit. As harmless as it appears, it's quite likely the most devastating hurtbox in all of Fraymakers.
  • Art Evolution: He has a higher pixel-count and more-detailed appearance here.
  • Powerful, but Inaccurate: It's rare that the Delicious Fuit will actually hit, but its mere presence makes for a potent stage controller in the hands of skilled players.
  • Stalactite Spite: The Delicious Fruit may not be an actual stalactite, but it sure is spiteful...

    Kragg
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_kragg_cutin.png
Kragg is a member of the Wallbuilders, a group dedicated to guarding and maintaining the great Rock Wall that protects the Aetherian Forest. Beffiting his position, Kragg possesses a loyal and study demeanor, as well as unique earth-elemental powers that make for an impregnable defense and control of the battelfield.

When summoned, Kragg will perfrom his Earth Pillar technique beneath the summoner's feet, acting as a wall, platform, and rising hitbox all in one for a variety of applications.

    Lea
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_lea_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

In the revolutionary MMORPG CrossWorlds, all game-play elements are fully corporeal thanks to the miracle of Instant Matter. It is here that an Amnesiac Hero known as Lea seeks the answer to her lost memories, unfortunately saddled with a glitch that limits her avatar's speaking capabilities. Her character class is a Spheromancer, which uses Virtual Ricochet Projectiles as her primary means of combat.

When summoned, Lea looses a flurry of VRPs diagonally downward, whereupon they'll bounce off of any surface, leaving opponents wide open should she land a hit.

    Peppino Spaghetti
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_peppino_cutin.png
  • From: Pizza Tower

One day, he is visited by the maniacal Pizzaface, who tells him of their plans to destroy his pizzeria with a Death Ray. His only hope is to collect the valuable Toppins found within the many perilous floors of the Pizza Tower to destroy it and save his restaurant.

When Summoned, Peppino will bolt forward with a powerful lunging grab, launching any grappled opponents with a powerful uppercut.

See also Characters.Pizza Tower for more information
  • Art-Style Clash: Peppino's home game boasts some incredibly Deranged Animation, giving him the wackiest appearance of any character here.
  • Grapple Move: He grabs opponents and socks them upward, perfect for opening their defences.

    Rhythm Doctor
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_rhythmdoctor_cutin.png
  • Origin: Rhythm Doctor
  • Platforms: Upcoming
  • Developer: 7th Beat games
  • Debut: Upcoming
  • Charge Amount: 75%
(Content Spotlight)

As an intern at the National Health Service, the so-called Rhythm Doctor finds himself treating a wide variety of crazy patients. His main procedure consists of hitting the Magical Defibrillator in sync with (usually) every 7th heartbeat, as task easier said than done when Everything Has Rhythm, and that rhythm tends to get complicated in a wide variety of ways.

When summoned, Rhythm Doctor's hand and button hover over the opponent's head, and a series of beats will play. On the 7th, the Doc will slam that button, spiking the opponent downward if they cannot dodge in time.
  • The Faceless: Just like in his home game, Rhythm Doctor appears only as an arm primed to slam the button... or in this case, the opponent's head.
  • Meteor Move: Once it connects, the slam will spike opponents straight downward, so players had best get their opponent offstage at the right time.

    Super Hexagon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_superhexagon_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

The Walls Are Closing In around a hexagonal grid, and you must move around the grid's center to dodge them for as long as possible! The grid's shape and and rotational direction will shift periodically, and the speed of the walls and rotation will increase as well.

When summoned, an auto-playing round of Super Hexagon will appear diagonally from your fighter. Any opponent caught by the walls get pulled and trapped into the center. Deals pitiful damage on its own, but is suitable at setting up combos by keeping your opponent where you want them.

80-100%

    Aine
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_aine_cutin.png
  • Origin: Renaine
  • Platforms: Upcoming
  • Developer: Squidly
  • Debut: Upcoming
  • Charge Amount: 90%
(Content Spotlight)

Aine is the "Phoenix Knight", known for her swift swordplay and ownership of the Spirit of the Phoenix, which will revive her from death as many times as needed. Her duty is to slay the Invincible Dragon and avenge her fallen friend Ren, a mission complicated by the Dragon's Curse, which completely rearranges the kingdom of Lineria every time she revives.

When summoned, Aine will attack with her signature four-hit combo to launch opponents forward, creating an opening for clever follow-ups.

    Crewmate/Impostor
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_amonguscrew_cutin.png

Whether it's a spaceship, a high-rise office, an isolated research facility, or a criminal empire's airship, somebody's gotta keep things running, and that job falls upon the Crewmates, adorable little bean-like beings that do whatever tasks they've been assigned. It's a perilous job, however, as one or more of their number are secretly Impostors, aliens that merely look like Crewmates with the aim of killing them off one by one until they're the only ones left, forcing the Crewmates to always watch their back and deduce who the Impostors are... Among Us.

Crewmate and Impostor are two assists in one. When the assist button is pressed once, Crewmate is summoned, and after a short animation of them fixing a damaged wire, all players within range of Crewmate (designated by a two-toned circle surrounding it) are buffed for a short time. When the assist button is double-tapped, Impostor is summoned instead, though opponents won't know that right away due to its animation being identical to Crewmate's up till the very end, and if they're within range of Impostor when its animation does end, they're stunned and launched diagonally upwards by a stab of Impostor's sharp tongue.
  • Air Vent Escape: If Impostor is summoned, they leave the stage by hopping into the floor panel they opened, which becomes a vent.
  • Ambiguously Human: Crewmates in Among Us are canonically incredibly short and light-weighted, and their bean-like spacesuits are apparently their actual bodies.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Impostors are aliens that resemble Crewmates, and can split their torso in two, revealing a mouth filled with pointy teeth and a long, sharp tongue that they can use to kill their victims, which acts as their method of attack in Fraymakers.
  • Confusion Fu: Referencing the Social Deduction Gameplay of Among Us, the Crewmate and Impostor look identical right until the last moment; the Crewmate gives a buff to players in their radius, while the Impostor strikes them with a powerful blow. In those few seconds they're fixing the wires in the vent, opponents will need to decide which one they are and plan accordingly.
  • Twinkle in the Eye: The Impostor gets a red spark in their visor right before dealing a tongue strike to whoever's in their radius.
  • Scare Chord: One plays when Impostor's attack goes off, taken directly from Among Us.

    Fancy Pants Man
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_fancypantsman_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

Fancy Pants Man is the premiere adventurer of Squiggleville, a teenage stick figure with spiky hair and, well, fancy pants. Whatever challenge lies before him, Fancy Pants lives up to his name by sprinting, leaping. flipping, sliding, and more with impeccable style and finesse.

When summoned, Fancy Pants will perform a jumping downward swing of his signature pencil. The move's startup and displacement make it tricky to land, but it packs a punch.

See also Characters.Fancy Pants Adventures for further information

    Niko
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_niko_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

Niko is a curious child of cat-like countenance who awakens in a dying world and discovers a powerful source of energy, a supernatural orb called "the Sun". Now designated the Saviour of this land, it's up to Niko and the player (whom Niko can communicate directly to) to solve many puzzles and bring the Sun to the Tower.

When summoned, Niko will use the Sun to shine a circular field of light which will increase the attack power of any allies standing within.

See also Characters. One Shot for further information
  • The Power of the Sun: The bulb Niko wields is known as "the Sun" for a reason.
  • Status Buff: The Sun's light powers up the summoner and any allies within its glow.

    Pizza
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_chicorypizza_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

Pizza serves as the custodian to the eponymous Chicory, one of the most renowned artists in the Picnic Providence. One day, a strange darkness encroaches the land, robbing it of all its color. With Chicory herself mysteriously disappeared, Pizza must overcome their self-doubt to take up Chicory's Brush to resolve this plague.

When summoned, Pizza will use the Brush to paint the ground in front of them, leaving behind a large stage-controlling hazard.

See Characters.Chicory A Colorful Tale for more information
  • Art Attacker: Their main attack is to leave a damaging streak of paint on the ground.
  • Hello, [Insert Name Here]: Pizza's name, color, clothing, and pronouns can be customized in their home game. For simplicity's sake, Fraymakers depicts them in their default settings.

    The Silent
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_thesilent_cutin.png
Four outcasts, each for their own reasons, have made it their mission to acsend an ominous, monster-laden Spire and destroy the Corrupt Heart within. One such outcast is the Silent, a swamp-dwelling huntress who intends to avenge her tribe. Her fighting style uses agility and cunning to stay light on her feet as she wears her adversaries down with deadly poisons and shivs.

When summoned, the silent will stab in front of her, poisoning any opponent she hits. You can extend the poison's duration by attacking the opponent, allowing you to rack up immense damage.

See also Characters.Slay The Spire for further information
  • Anti-Frustration Features: For the opponent, at least, damage dealt by the Silent's poison won't count towards filling the assist meter.
  • Close-Range Combatant: Seeing as her attack is a single stab with her dagger, you'll have to get in pretty close to make use of her poison.
  • Poisoned Weapons: Her dagger, natch.

Above 100%

    Diogenes
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_diogenes_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

Diogenes is a man confined to a cauldron from the waist down whose sole means of locomotion is very skillful usage of a yosemite hammer. His objective is to scale a mountain made of recycled assets that (by Foddy's own addmission throughout) isn't very nice, being designed just so that the slightest mistake could send would-be climbers tumbling back to the very start.

When summoned, Diogenes will cross the field the only way he can, dealing great damage to any opponent hit by his cauldron and hammer.

    Rockman
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_ftlrockman_cutin.png
(Content Spotlight)

The Rockmen of Vrachos V are a Proud Warrior Race known for their resilient rocky hide, hence the name. Their stolid, independent ways make earning their respect a daunting task, but doing so nets The Federation a powerful (if situational) ally force.

When summoned, a Rockman will move forward slowly until it gets close enough to deliver a mighty slam of its fist to the opponent that can potentially One-Hit KO, great for controlling the ground and finishing combos.

    Tankman
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fraymakers_tankman_cutin.png
  • Origin: Newgrounds/Tankmen
  • Platforms: Browser
  • Designer: Andrew J. Brozyna
  • Debut: 2000
  • Charge Amount: 125%
(Content Spotlight)

In 2006, the logo would gain a redesign and Web Animation series by Jeff "JohnnyUtah" Bandelin, establishing the character as "Sgt. John Captain", a half-hearted soldier in a war-torn world with a passion for classic cinema and bottom of the barrel jokes.

When summoned, Tankman will (naturally) fire a shot from his tank that comes out quickly and at a diagonally upward angle, making it well-suited for punishing jump-happy opponents or gimping recoveries.

See also Characters.Tankmen for further information
  • Guest Fighter: He's the only character in the game who doesn't directly hail from an Indie Game, instead originating as a website mascot. His inclusion is meant to celebrate said website serving as the Humble Beginnings for several indie devs.
  • Tank Goodness: He isn't the Tankman for nothing, folks.
