Nidhoggmon
A colossal Digimon that takes vast amounts of energy into its body, and is constantly overheating. The color emitted by its wings is the extent of its overheating; the redder it is, the more danger it poses. Nidhoggmon repeatedly destroys and absorbs things, leaving nothing behind in its wake.
Nidhoggmon appeared in Digimon Adventure: (2020), as the Mega form of Eyesmon.
- Draconic Abomination: It's a city-sized serpentine demon dragon covered in eyes and its wings look more like cannons than actual wings.
- Energy Weapon: Its Annihilention attack has it fire off red-hot beams from its eyes.
- Evil Is Burning Hot: It constantly destroys and consumes things and continually gives off massive amounts of heat as a result.
- Extra Eyes: It has nine red eyes on its head and see those things all over its body? More eyes. Yes, even the ones on its tongue.
- Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Its name is taken from Nidhoggr, an enormous dragon from Norse Mythology, whose name means "malice-striker".
- Red and Black and Evil All Over: Played with. Its body is pitch-black and several parts of it are red. While its wings and most of its eyes are yellow and orange, they'll turn increasingly red the more it overheats.
NoblePumpkinmon (NoblePumpmon)
A gentlemanly evolution of Pumpkinmon that aims to bring smiles to all Digimon. With a cheerful but occasionally mischievous personality, it can get along with any Digimon and is very popular. Its staff, "Assam Ring Jack", can create wonderful pumpkin dishes to treat its newly befriended Digimon.
NoblePumpkinmon is a partner Digimon in Digimon ReArise, with its partner being Nozomi Tamada.
- Badass in a Nice Suit: NoblePumpkinmon dresses in fine clothes, complete with Classy Cravat and High Collar of Doom.
- Cape Wings: NoblePumpkinmon has a pair of black wings that, when at rest, trail behind it like a dark cape.
- Captain Ersatz: If this well-dressed, spindly-limbed, super-popular, Halloween-themed entertainer had a skull for a head instead of a pumpkin, he'd be instantly recognizable as Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King.
- Force Feeding: Its Atlantic Dam attack involves it forcefully pouring pumpkin soup into an enemy's mouth until they explode.
- Loved by All: It's extremely friendly and personable, and liked by almost every Digimon it meets.
- Morphic Resonance: Its white clothes and cape wings are reminiscent of a normal Pumpkinmon's white body and scarf.
- Pumpkin Person: A Jack-'o-Lantern-headed humanoid who evolves from another pumpkin person and can conjure up both pumpkin-based dishes and giant explosive pumpkins.
- Shout-Out: NoblePumpkinmon's ring has two.
- The first part of the name is Wassamu, a town in Hokkaido famous for its pumpkin and cabbage crops, producing the best harvest in Japan for those products. The English version is named after Assam, a state in northeastern India, whose cuisine includes a lot of popular dishes that use pumpkins/squashes as their main ingredients.
- "Jack" is a reference to both the "Jack o'Lantern" and Jack Skellington.
- Winged Humanoid: It possesses a pair of blue-black Cape Wings.
Omedamon
A Holy Mechanical Soldier whose true form is unknown that came from a Digital World from another dimension. It was based on a certain game that became popular at the end of the 20th century in another dimension. It has the courage to undauntedly face any challenge. Its armor is composed of "Cyplasium Digizoid" and has the ability to itself with nanomachines, allowing it to battle unharmed in the next battle. It also comes equiped with a beam shaped cape on its back reminiscent of worn pieces of cloth.
This digimon was shown on April 1st, 2020 as part of a collaboration with Medabots who in turn made a Medabots version of Omnimon called "Omega Knight" with both franchises stating that it was just a joke. At least until April 1st, 2021 in which both franchises revealed that Omedamon and Omega knight were shown as the focus of their respective mobile games' April Fools events, which caused both Metabee and Rokusho to cross over to the Digital World and made Omega Knight obtainable alongside Grey Wars and Garuru Metal who are based on Omnimon's components, WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.
- April Fools' Day: It was released on this day as a joke collaboration with Medabots in 2020 and became the focus of an event exactly a year later.
- BFG: Beetle Cannon.
- BFS: Scissors Sword.
- Composite Character: It's basically an Omnimon comprised of Metabee and Rokusho.
- Fusion Dance: It is created through a Jogress Evolution between Metabee and Rokusho.
- Healing Factor: Its Cyplasium Digizoid armor heals itself from the damage it sustains in battle so that it can fight at full health in the next battle, which is basically the explantion how Medabots can continue to fight battles without the need of healing.
- Japanese Beetle Brothers: It's composed of Metabee who is based on a rhino beetle and Rokusho who is based on a stag beetle.
- Lost in Translation: Due to Omegamon being changed to Omnimon overseas, the pun behind Omedamon's name (a combination of "Omegamon" and "Medabot") is sadly lost on casual English audiences.
- Nanomachines: What its Cyplasium Digizoid is described as.
- Sci-Fi Kitchen Sink: It's made from two Medabots, which are human-sized battle robots, fusing into a being made from computer data which also happens to use nanotechnology to heal itself.
- Unobtanium: Omedamon is the only known Digimon to make use of Cyplasium Digizoid.
Ordinemon
- Debut: Digimon Adventure tri.
A Digimon with gigantic, jet-black wings; the truth about it is unclear, and it is theorized by a portion of researchers to appear whenever the Digital World has been plunged into chaos and is meeting its end. Although it was originally an angel Digimon whose role was to maintain order, it was said to have fallen due to its wrath and sorrow and fused with another Digimon, giving rise to Ordinemon. Negative emotions themselves flow out of Ordinemon's wings, and a flap of its wings will spread miasma throughout its surroundings. The endlessly overflowing miasma is capable of eventually covering the entire world, resulting in the end of all life. However, its true nature is one of kindness, a high-standing being who plans to save the world by first returning the world, which has lost its order, to nothingness.
Ordinemon was the final antagonist in Digimon Adventure tri., and was a forced Jogress of Ophanimon: Falldown Mode and Raguelmon. By proxy, it is partnered to Hikari Yagami (Kari Kamiya) and Meiko Mochizuki.
- Apocalypse Maiden: Researchers figure it's a harbinger of the end of the world. At the very least, it can definitely accomplish that.
- Angelic Abomination: Ordinemon is so twisted it can barely be called an angel anymore.
- Creepily Long Arms: Its arms are disturbingly long, and the forearms resemble tuning forks that turn from red to green to blue.
- Fallen Angel: It's the combination of two corrupted angel Digimon to create the most twisted being that can still technically be considered angelic.
- Fusion Dance: Between two fallen angel Digimon. Specifically, Ophanimon: Falldown Mode and Raguelmon.
- It Is Beyond Saving: Ordinemon is driven by a sense of compassion that seeks to end all suffering in the world. However, its mind is so distorted by its own suffering that it firmly believes that the only way to do that is to destroy everything so a new, "perfect" world can rise in its place.
- Lean and Mean: Its main body resembles a humanoid female with a thin waist and Barbie Doll Anatomy.
- Marionette Motion: Ordinemon's body just sort of hangs between its two giant wings.
- Mook Maker: Its feathers turn into Digimon which attack everything in sight.
- Morphic Resonance: Its wings have the same basic shape as Raguelmon's, who in tri was one of its component parts.
- Obliviously Evil: It wants to save the world by destroying it, and it's too far gone to realize that these goals are somewhat contradictory.
- Order Versus Chaos: It falls strongly on the side of order. In fact, the world falling into chaos is said to precipitate its arrival. Its name is even derived from the Italian word for "order".
- Our Angels Are Different: It's more like an angel from Evangelion than typical Digimon angels — an outright Angelic Abomination, made of evil, with a body that simultaneously looks human and very much not.
- Theme Naming: Two of its three attacks have to do with the end of the world.
- Tragic Monster: As destructive as it is, Ordinemon is not truly evil. It's a pitiable being driven completely insane from the sorrow and pain of its components.
Ornismon
An ancient Digimon that went extinct in the distant past. Boasting a size beyond imagination, it is called the "Ruler of the Skies". Its personality is ferocious, and it is said that it will frequently assault even larger Digimon.
Ornismon was prominently featured in the Frontier movie.
- Feathered Fiend: A very aggressive bird Digimon.
- Giant Flyer: Ornismon is supposed to be one of the largest bird Digimon in existence.
- Prehistoric Monster: A monstrous, dangerous and highly aggressive prehistoric Digimon.
- Purple Is Powerful: A gigantic purple bird who was powerful enough to be called "Ruler of the Skies".
Ouryumon
An imaginary Digimon born from the "Daydream of a DigiCore". Due to the interface on its brow, even its DigiCore's own creativity was miraculously released, and its form digivolved. Possibly because it naturally possessed the ferocious combat data of the "Dragons" and "Generals" of Japanese myth within its DigiCore, the form created by its DigiCore is a "Warrior Dragon", clad in frightening, majestic Japanese armor and holding swords in both of its hands. The left-hand sword is the "Gairyū Sadaijin" (鎧龍左大刃? lit. "Armored Dragon Left Greatsword"), and the right-hand sword is the "Gairyū Udaijin" (鎧龍右大刃? lit. "Armored Dragon Right Greatsword"). The blades of the wings on its back are called the "Gaiba Daimeijin" (鎧馬大名刃? lit. "Armored Horse Famous Blades").[3] The characters on its swords are their names. Together, its swords are called the "Gairyū Daijin" (鎧龍大刃? lit. "Armored Dragon Greatswords").
Ouryumon is the Mega form of Ryudamon, and is the main partner of Yuji Musha from Digimon Chronicle and Shēngjiàn Fāng from Digimon D-Cyber. It is capable of transforming into the Ouryuken for Alphamon to wield, with the two combining into Alphamon: Ouryuken.
- Armored Dragons: Ouryumon is a dragon Digimon noted for being clad in amazing armor, something it has in common with all members of its most common evolutionary line (Ryudamon, Ginryumon and Hisyaryumon).
- Dual Wielding: It wields two swords.
- Equippable Ally: To Alphamon, forming Alphamon Ouryuken.
- Our Dragons Are Different: It's based on eastern-style dragons.
Parallelmon
A cool-headed mutant monster who wanders through space-time and hunts Tamers.
It acted as the main antagonist of "Double Tamer!! The Great Superdimensional Battle!!", a crossover between Digimon V-Tamer 01 and Digimon Adventure 02, where it was fought and defeated by Taichi Yagami and Zeromaru, and Daisuke (Davis) Motomiya and his V-mon, who was able to go into Magnamon.
Parasimon
A Digimon that can't survive without leeching off of other beings, even though it is a Mega. Parasimon is powerless when by itself, but when it gathers in numbers, it can easily defeat Champion Digimon. When Parasimon leeches off of another, it can draw out the host Digimon's abilities to their utmost limit, exhibiting a dreadful power. It can amplify the host's desires, and it is capable of taking advantage of those weaknesses. The existence of Parasite Digimon types other than Parasimon has been confirmed, and the influence of Parasite Digimon, in addition to viralization, is considered the cause of berserk Digimon.
Parasimon served as the main antagonist of the second Tamers movie. A Parasimon is also under ownership of Airu Suzaki.
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: An arthropod Digimon bigger than a person.
- Cyclops: It has a single, gigantic eye dominating its forward end.
- Glass Cannon: Once it's ripped from whatever host it's occupying, it's susceptible to whatever punishment you wish to throw at it.
- Puppeteer Parasite: Not to the extent of other examples, but Parasimon can control and influence the feelings, emotions and desires of the Digimon it latches onto.
- Weak, but Skilled: Given it can't even beat a Champion-level by itself, it's definitely one of the weakest Mega Digimon in the series. However, once it attaches itself to someone, it easily makes up for its shortcomings, and can still move around and attack with its sharp legs.
- With Great Power Comes Great Insanity: Parasimon inflicts this on its host. It draws out the host's potential to its fullest while amplifying its desires, turning it into a puppet for the big bug to utilize.
- Zerg Rush: The only way they can defeat a Champion-leveled Digimon with ease is through sheer numbers.
Pharaohmon
Pharaohmon's body shines gold enough to be baleful. It is said that it evolved from Mummy Digimon, and it boasted absolute power in the ancient Digital World, ruling many areas. As for the mysterious ancient ruins that dot the Digital World, many Digimon were under Pharaohmon's control at the Genesis of the Digital World, and from these places which are said to have been raised in just a few days, that control can be perceived.
- Bling of War: It wields a golden shield that looks like a sarcophagus lid.
- Gold Makes Everything Shiny: Its body is almost entirely gold.
- Large and in Charge: Exact size wavers between depictions, but most of them agree Pharaomon is quite large indeed.
- Look on My Works, Ye Mighty, and Despair: It used to rule large swathes of the Digital World, but now all that's left of its domain are mysterious ruins.
- Nefarious Pharaoh: It's a Virus type with an attack that either completely dissolves enemies or bends them to its will forever.
Phoenixmon (Hououmon)
A Holy Beast Digimon based off of the mythical phoenix, or houou, that possesses four shining, golden wings. It is considered the head of all Bird Digimon and the supervisor of Holy Digimon. In fact, it is considered the ultimate form of all Bird Digimon. It draws unfathomable Holy power from the two Holy Rings on its feet. The grains of light that fall from its wings can purify wickedness.
The Digimon Adventure (PSP) game, WonderSwan games, Digimon Adventure tri. and Digimon Adventure: (2020) depict Phoenixmon as the Mega form of Sora Takenouchi's Biyomon. It is also partnered to Akiho Rindou from Digimon World Re:Digitize, and Fei Wong Tomoe Ignacio in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth.
- Amplifier Artifact: Its two Holy Rings, which provide it with power.
- Back from the Dead: In Digimon World 2, Crimson Flare revives fallen allies.
- Big Good: Its profile describes it as the leader of all Bird and Holy Digimon.
- Divine Birds: A phoenix-themed Digimon described as the highest-ranking Bird Digimon, and also holds authority over Holy ones.
- Giant Flyer: Phoenixmon is consistently portrayed as a gigantic Bird Digimon. Granted, that's hardly unique to Bird Digimon starting with their Champion stages.
- Holy Hand Grenade: "Starlight Explosion".
- Hot Wings: "Flaming Wing".
- Inconsistent Dub: Localizations tend to have a hard time deciding whether to call this Digimon Phoenixmon or leave it as Hououmon. Phoenixmon has been used in Digimon World, Digimon Adventure tri. and Digimon Masters, while Hououmon is used just about everywhere else.
- Mana Drain: "Life Force", which drains the power from its opponents.
- Olympus Mons: It's considered the ultimate Bird Digimon.
- The Phoenix: It's based on the fenghuang, or "hō-ō" in the Japanese language, which is China's version of the bird in question (think the Pokémon Ho-Oh). The English name Phoenixmon makes it much more obvious.
- Playing with Fire: It's still able to use fire attacks, as shown when it fires its "Crimson Flame" from its mouth or tackles the enemy with its "Flaming Wing".
- Retcon: As it debuted in Digimon World, it was originally depicted as an Ultimatenote . When the Wind Guardians Pendulum came along, it became a Mega.
- Toothy Bird: Has a few sharp ones more or less carried over from its Champion form, Birdramon.
PileVolcamon
PileVolcamon is a Cyborg Digimon. One of the evolutions of Volcamon, of which there are said to be seven types. It possesses tremendous power and destructive force, and is well-versed in all sorts of combat techniques, starting with those from pro wrestling. As it evolved, its original massive body was polished even more, transforming it into a smart form suited for hand-to-hand combat.
PileVolcamon is a possible canon partner for Keisuke Amasawa, should he have picked Gottsumon.
- Magma Man: The lava-spewing volcano on Volcamon's back has split into four.
- Megaton Punch: Its Diamond Fist is a punch that is powerful enough blow apart Chrome Digizoid.
- Tuckerization: Is based on former Digimon series planning director Pile Volcano Ota.
- Wrestler in All of Us: It uses wrestling moves.
PlatinumNumemon
An exceedingly rare Numemon that evolved by being among the first in the Digital World to discover the "Platina Mine", and absorbing the deposits found within. Since then, its personality has undergone a complete change, leading it to gather any and all jewellery it can find and using them to decorate itself, as if it had suddenly struck it rich. It is an extremely "gorgeous Digimon", regardless of its appearance. Its defense is fairly high thanks to its golden wings and the jewellery strengthening its body, but its offense is sub-par.
- Breath Weapon: It has a burping attack that works similar to one.
- Overly-Long Tongue: Its oversized tongue is always lolling out of its mouth, and it has an attack called Huge Yucky Tongue.
- Palette Swap: A silver recolor of GoldNumemon.
- Power Gives You Wings: The most notable difference between PlatinumNumemon and the lower levels of the Numemon family tree is the enormous pair of wings it gains upon evolving.
- Toilet Humor: It throws excrement to attack, much like all other members of the Numemon family.
Plesiomon
A Plesiosaur Digimon that was discovered in a computer found in a British laboratory dedicated to mysterious creatures. Treated as a rumor among researchers, Plesiomon tends to appear in locations where it can be poorly seen, and seems to create a mysterious fog wherever it goes.
For several years, Plesiomon was regarded as the Mega form of Gomamon, appearing as such in one of the WonderSwan games, but as of the release of the Digimon Adventure RPG, Vikemon, originally the Mega form of Shakkoumon and therefore Armadillomon, takes that role. Nonetheless, this can still be considered a "canonical" evolution.
- Japanese Ranguage: Bandai of America refers to this Digimon as "Preciomon". The anime dub thankfully averted this.
- Making a Splash: In the dub version, anyway.
- Mighty Roar: How its "Sorrow Blue" attack works.
- Morphic Resonance: Plesiomon bears a striking resemblance to the Rookie-level Gomamon; Plesiomon was introduced to the series as Gomamon's Mega.
- Palette Swap: In Digimon Linkz, being mutated by Volcanicdramon darkens its color scheme slightly and turns the spines on its back blue.
- Prehistoric Monster: It's a giant plesiosaur with Gomamon's fur markings.
- Sea Monster: As the Loch Ness Monster is supposedly a plesiosaur, it fits.
- Shrouded in Myth: It's treated as such in universe, as Digimon researchers doubt Plesiomon even exists and it has the ability to keep itself from being seen clearly.
- Stock Ness Monster: It's more or less based on the Loch Ness Monster, as evidenced by its elusive nature and appearing while shrouded in fog.
Plesiomon X (Plesiomon (X-Antibody)).
According to the latest research analysed from its high-pitched, crystal-clear cry, it has become clear that most of Plesiomon's configuration data is surprisingly "poetry" data. It has taken on a beautiful, noble, yet elegant form, and very rarely appears, causing some researchers to question whether it is related to the legend of a tragic poet who was unable to show themselves to the world after turning into a dragon, and recieted poetry about their deepening sorrow.
- Hair of Gold: Befitting the Plesiomon species' role as mysterious and pure beings.
PrinceMamemon
Having taken in data on the Net concerning a royal family, it is a prince of the Mamemon world. Partnering with KingEtemon, it plays the part of a mock royal family of the Digital World, and that's why it looks so gorgeous. Although its personality isn't awful, it was incited by KingEtemon and is convinced that it truly is a member of the royal family, and the embarrassing thing is that it considers even the "Royal Knights" to be its subordinates. Despite its appearance, the part that it boasts is its tremendous destructive power, since it is a Mega, after all.
- Cephalothorax: Like other Mamemon variants.
- King Mook: A golden, crowned Mamemon with a royal title, apparently so due to having incorporated data on human royalty into itself.
- Perpetual Smiler: Much like other Mamemon variants, it's usually seen with a smile.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: It's bigger than Mamemon, but still small for a Mega.
- Shout-Out: Its "Purple Rain" attack is named for the song by Prince.
PrinceMamemon X (PrinceMamemon (X-Antibody))
Additional royal records were recovered were partially highlighted and recovered. Although there is a rumor that its "Secret Boots" are responsible for its long legs, it is said that its very gorgeous and elegant "Delmo Walking" causes even enemy Digimon to make way for it.
- Bishōnen Line: Much more humanoid than the standard form.
- Staff of Authority: Now wields a royal scepter.
Proximamon
A phantom Digimon that is said to govern over destruction and creation, and possess immense power. Since it is a Digimon whose "theoretical" manifestation was predicted in a simulation within a high-speed computing device, it is unknown whether it exists in the real Digital World. It has the ability to generate the opposing forces of holy energy and evil energy, and is said to be capable of disassembling every constituent substance in the Digital World with evil energy, and reconstructing the disassembled substances with holy energy to create new ones. Because it disassembles and recreates everything such as the Digimon in its surroundings and the environment merely by existing, there is a risk that the Digital World will be completely rewritten in the blink of an eye as a result of this Digimon manifesting. For that reason, in order to prevent any possible abuse, the simulation information on the evolution requirements for manifesting Proximamon is strictly kept secret.
- Classified Information: Digimon researchers keep all information on its existence and evolution requirements secret in order to prevent its power from being abused.
- Expy: Of Hadesmon. Both are reptilian centaurs and where Hadesmon can hack both matter and data into whatever it wants, Proximamon can disassemble things down to their constituent parts and re-form them into new structures.
- Fusion Dance: Of Siriusmon and Arcturusmon.
- Holy Hand Grenade: Half of its power is holy in nature and grants it The Power of Creation through its Light of Recreation.
- Olympus Mons: It's theoretically powerful enough to disassemble and remake the Digital World and can do so instantly, putting it on par with with other world-remakers like Susanoomon. Not only that, one of its constituent Digimon evolves from an Ultimate that's already as strong as one of the Four Great Dragons.
- Our Centaurs Are Different: Its quadrupedal lower half is made mostly from Arcturusmon. The rest is mostly made from Siriusmon. The end result bears more than a passing resemblance to Hadesmon.
- The Power of Creation: Its Light of Recreation allows it to rebuild anything it disassembles with its Extinction Cloud into a new structure.
- Stellar Name: It's named after Proxima Centauri, the closest star outside our solar system.
- Unholy Nuke: Half of its power is evil in nature and grants it the power of destruction in the form of its Extinction Cloud.
- Yin-Yang Bomb: It wields both holy and evil power in equal measure, granting it the powers of creation and destruction respectively.
Pukumon
A "British punk" Digimon that was brought into existence when Britain's strongest hacker caused a mutation in a computer virus, into which it poured all the knowledge it possessed. Although Pukumon is small, it has a rebellious personality that contends for "first place" in the Digital World. It can't help picking fights, no matter whether the opponent is stronger or weaker than itself. It tends to prefer to use its fists to settle disputes, but will not hesitate to use the spikes built into its Chrondigizoit helmet.
- Cool Helmet: A Chrondigizoit spike-shooting helmet, no less.
- Evil Brit: Was brought into existence by Britain's strongest hacker, and is always picking fights with other Digimon.
- Evil Counterpart: To MarinAngemon in the Deep Savers Pendulum. Both are tiny Megas, one Vaccine and the other Virus.
- Flying Seafood Special: As shown in its blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo in Digimon Tamers.
- Good Old Fisticuffs: Its "Britain Punch" attack.
- Painful Pointy Pufferfish: Its design is clearly based on the pufferfish and one of its main attacks is to shoot its quills at enemies.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Yet another In-Training or Rookie-sized Mega.
- Playful Hacker: Pukumon owes its existence to one.
- The Quincy Punk: It's a "British punk" Digimon created by the strongest British hacker. It's noted for its rebellious and violent personality.
- The Runt at the End: The smallest and least-threatening of the first generation of Mega-level virus-types from the v-pets, which is probably why it was passed over for a spot on the Dark Masters in Digimon Adventure in favor of the data-type Metal Seadramon.
- Spike Shooter: Its "Needle Squall" attack.
Quantumon
A Mega Digimon enshrined in the aerial city of "Larc", which floats above the vast Net Ocean, shrouded by enormous clouds. Quantumon extracts huge amounts of data from the Net Ocean using the expansion devices installed on Larc, and conducts millions upon trillions of simulations of the future. Together with its Digimon followers, Quantumon implements the best measures it has formulated against disasters that are predicted to occur in the Digital World.
Quantumon is simultaneously the Greater-Scope Villain and the Big Good of Digimon Ghost Game.
- Cool Mask: Quantumon's face is hidden by an elaborate golden mask.
- The Fair Folk: A Fairy type Digimon who generally keeps itself hidden, but intervenes to prevent disasters.
- For Science!: It can use its "Unlimited Journey" attack to send Digimon to another dimension, to see what will happen.
- Hu Mons: At first glance, Quantumon might look human. Except for the blue skin and green hair. Oh, and the nigh-godlike powers.
- Power Palms: The centers of its hands glow with light.

Quartzmon
A colossal Digimon that continues to absorb data and amplify its power. The large, wicked ball that corresponds to the majority of its body is a fusion reactor that generates its power source, the 'Gyuputo Particles', from the data it absorbed. Quartzmon's true body is at the top, and can act away from the large wicked ball, and it's also possible for it to change its form. It has a greed for the data of the entire world, and completely swallows and absorbs Digimon.
Quartzmon acted as the main antagonist of Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time.
- Belly Mouth: Its true body has one.
- Cannibalism Superpower: It absorbs data to amplify its power, including other Digimon.
- Combat Tentacles: Uses them to fill its enemies full of explosive particles.
- Eldritch Abomination: Its true form at the top is a multi-armed monstrosity with red eyes.
- Expy: Shares a lot of traits design-wise with Apocalymon and the D-Reaper.
- Extra Eyes: Has six red eyes on its face.
- Generic Doomsday Villain: Wants to eat the entire world, because it can.
- Nightmare Face: It has no eyes, only six red dots.
- Sinister Geometry: Its main body is a sphere. Its core is a cube with its face on one of the sides.
- Spider Limbs: Its true body has these.
QueenChessmon
The strongest of the Chessmon series, QueenChessmon possesses extreme range and offensive ability. It is a reliable being that defends the cowardly KingChessmon. That superior offensive ability is a power that sometimes seems rather inhuman. Its catchphrase is "God of Chess, bestow pardon!"
- Bodyguard Babes: Its description indicates it defends the cowardly KingChessmon.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: QueenChessmon is part of the black-colored line of Chessmon, while KingChessmon evolves from the white-colored line.
- Cool Mask: Like Angewomon, it has an Eyeless Faceplate with a cross-shaped marking.
- Foil: The immensely powerful combatant QueenChessmon contrasts with the tactically-minded intellectual and Dirty Coward KingChessmon.
- God Save Us from the Queen!: Its ruthless, almost inhuman offensive capabilities make it the true leader of the Chessmon line, compared to the Dirty Coward KingChessmon. To further drive it home, she's a virus Digimon.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Its Heartbreaker attack impales the foe with the swords on its armor.
- Ms. Fanservice: Par for the course with female humanoid digimon; QueenChessmon is technically fully dressed in armor, but the layering and color of her armor evokes the image of a woman in a bikini.
- Shout-Out: QueenChessmon is decorated with Heart Symbols and her staff is a very long croquet mallet, both nods to Lewis Carroll's Queen of Hearts.
- Super-Strength: Its offensive might seems inhuman.
- Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: The Statuesque Stunner QueenChessmon is a far cry from the portly dwarf KingChessmon.
Rafflesimon
A Mega-level Fairy Digimon said to be the largest flower in the Digital World. While its appearance is so beautiful that it enraptures all who lay eyes on it, the stench it emits is out of this world. There are a number of people who fell for Rafflesimon's beauty at first sight and sought to find it again after a single glance. However, Rafflesimon's lifespan is short, and its life processes will cease after just several days have passed. Because of the extremely low likelihood of being able to catch sight of a Rafflesimon, it is also known as the "Miraculous Flower". Despite its circumstances, Rafflesimon never expresses any pessimism about its looming death, constantly yearning to live a normal life and dancing elegantly to its very last.
- Attack Reflector: It's surrounded by hovering flower petals it can use to deflect attacks.
- BFG: It can turn its giant, poofy dress sleves into cannons.
- Eyeless Face: Like Rosemon, its upper face is covered by a flower-themed helmet.
- Fairy Sexy: Rafflesimon has legs and curves.
- Flower Motif: The Rafflesia Arnoldi, also known as the corpse lily, which only blooms for a few days of its life, and smells awful.
- Fusion Dance: Of Rosemon and Lotusmon.
- The Pollyanna: The fact it only gets to spend a few days alive doesn't get Rafflesimon down at all.
- Short-Lived Organism: Rafflesimon's life span is very short and it dies after just several days.
Raguelmon
A Mega Level Digimon who observes all Angel Digimon with eyes of distrust, in order to prevent the fall of other Angel Digimon. The moment it detects an Angel Digimon which has begun to fall, it will attack and destroy them before they would have fallen completely. However, because it was shunned for its role as an observer, it began to be filled with nihilistic thoughts until its sole line of thought was to reject everything. At that stage, it no longer discerns between friend or foe, turning into a fearsome Digimon that carries out destruction indiscriminately.
Raguelmon is the Dark-evolved Mega level of Meicoomon, having evolved from Meicrackmon: Vicious Mode. It appears in Digimon Adventure tri., and is partnered to Meiko Mochizuki.
- All the Other Reindeer: Other Angel Digimon avoided it, because they knew Raguelmon was only watching them to see if they needed to be pre-emptively killed.
- Bling of War: It wears golden gauntlets and pants.
- Cat Folk: A humanoid cat.
- Evil Counterpart: To Rasielmon. This one evolved from Meicrackmon Vicious Mode.
- Fallen Angel: A Fallen Angel-type Digimon.
- He Who Fights Monsters: After suffering a bout of Sanity Slippage, Raguelmon has become a Fallen Angel-type, the very thing it dedicated itself to destroying, and an unbelievably dangerous one at that.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: It attacks by impaling enemies on its claws and tail.
- Purple Is Powerful: Its claws and tail glow purple.
Raidenmon
A heavyweight-class Machine type Digimon equipped with electromagnetic weapons. It was created as a shooting-type, unlike Raijinmon who similarly uses lightning as its energy. Although it is not as adept in close combat, it defends itself using its thick armor, and counterattacks with its left arm. It is not afraid to do a life-risking tackle to take down its target.
Raidenmon debuted as a boss in Digimon World 3, and was partnered to the Chief Officer of MAGAMI.
- Energy Ball: Its Rising Sun attack fires high-temperature spheres from its Shoulder Cannons.
- Fusion Dance: Of Fujinmon, Raijinmon and Suijinmon.
- Gonk: The three component Digimon it's made from are humanoid. Raidenmon looks like a cycloptic frog-tank... thing.
- Shock and Awe: Its Kirlian Brand is a 45,000-volt electrical discharge.
- Shoulder Cannon: It fires its Rising Sun attack is fired from the cannons on its shoulders.
Raijinmon
A Cyborg Digimon known as the Thunderclap General. Its lightning, which is powerful enough to pierce the sky, conceals sufficient power worthy of the name "Raijin" of Oriental folklore. It excels in close combat.
It debuted as one of Lord Megadeath's partners in Digimon World 3.
- Arm Cannon: Like Suijinmon and Fuujinmon, it has a copy of one of Justimon's weapons.
- Elemental Punch: Its Blitz Arm attack is a barrage of electrified punches with its Blitz Arms.
- Cyborg: Classified as a cyborg type.
- Shock and Awe: Its attacks all revolve around thunder.
Rasenmon
Rasenmon's true form, which it attained after accepting its negative emotions without fearing them and regaining the courage it needed to believe in itself. Having broken free of the negative emotions that shackled it down, it is now reborn into this new form and is able to completely control the power that drove it berserk in the past; its violent temperament has also faded, and it now sports a kind and gentle personality.
In battle, it is capable of amassing even more power by absorbing the energy derived from its allies' emotions; however, it is only able to use this ability to carry out actions it believes are right.
Rasenmon is the Mega level of Herissmon.
- Emotion Eater: It can feed on the emotions of its allies, but can only use the power gained from doing so if its motivation for doing so is pure.
- Enlightenment Superpowers: It gained this form after accepting its negative emotions.
- Spectacular Spinning: All of its attacks involve spinning in some way. It spins its gauntlets for Gyro Smash and Qualialise Blast and its forms its detachable spines into a drill for Spiral Vanish.
- This Is a Drill: It detaches its spines and combines them into a drill when using Spiral Vanish.
- Tornado Move: Qualialise Blast creates tornadoes by spinning its gauntlets.
Rasenmon Fury Mode
A ruthless, nine-tailed Ultimate Digimon that became unable to control its power of darkness due to the large volume of negative emotion data that flowed in from others while it was evolving from a Perfect Digimon. It is a destroyer that gave in to its rampaging power of darkness the moment its evolution was complete, bringing devastation to its surroundings solely on impulse. It suffers from inner conflict stemming from its fear of and attempts to reject the swirling negative emotions inside of itself, which gave rise to its destructive impulses and subsequently its vicious personality.
- Asian Fox Spirit: Where its nine tails come from.
- The Berserker: It destroys and rampages on impulse.
- Beware My Stinger Tail: A variation in that its tails are themselves sharp without needing anything attached.
- The Corruption: It's the result of being overloaded with negative emotions while evolving.
- Enlightenment Superpowers: Inverted. This form results from a lack of the self-acceptance that created base-form Rasenmon.
- Multiple-Tailed Beast: It has nine tails. All the better to shred you with.
- Palette Swap: Its concept art gives it a bluer color scheme than it already has.
- Prehensile Tail: They're also sharp. Its Desperate Vortex attack involves it stabbing its opponent repeatedly with them.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: It has multiple pairs of glowing red eyes.
- Tornado Move: Its Spiral Hell attack has it create tornadoes while attacking everything in sight.
Rasenmon [Anniv.]
In June of 2020, recolored versions of both forms of Rasenmon were released to commemorate the second anniversary of Digimon ReArise's launch date.
- Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs: The only visual difference between these and the originals is that each has the other's color scheme.
- Palette Swap: This version of Rasenmon has Fury Mode's color scheme while Fury Mode now has base-form Rasemon's color scheme.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Rasenmon now has red eyes.
Rasielmon
An Ophan Digimon that was once appointed to the same rank as Ophanimon. It possesses the mysterious power to foresee everything in the world from the "Kernel" (God's domain). It is said that it knows all about events throughout the Digital World, and has gained a divine amount of knowledge with that power.
Rasielmon is the true Mega form of Meicoomon, evolving from Meicrackmon.
- Cat Folk: Though more human-looking than Raguelmon.
- Confusion Fu: Sefer Raziel uses "any kind of miracle to exterminate the enemy", although it's apparently random enough that even Rasielmon doesn't know what it'll conjure up.
- Elemental Powers: It uses the magic circles on its hands to attack with the five Chinese classical elements in any combination.
- Geometric Magic: The magic circles on its hands let it use its Elemental Powers for its Knowledge Stream attack.
- Our Angels Are Different: Rasielmon shares the Ophan type with Ophanimon, despite looking vaguely feline.
Ravemon (Ravmon)
At the Genesis of the Digital World, it served under a certain God Man Digimon and was titled the "Silver Crow", but it is said that it was touched by that god's anger and one of its wings was dyed black. The true terror of Ravemon is in its covert actions. It conceals its figure with its black wing, and slashes the opponent with its white wing. Suddenly appearing out of nowhere, it brings down the opponent in a single blow. Its sword "Chouou-maru" (烏王丸? lit. "Raven King") is unleashed with nimble movements.Its left hand is equipped with the "Raven Claw".
Ravemon is seen as the Mega form of Falcomon (2006 Anime Version), and is the partner of Ikuto Noguchi (Keenan Crier) in Digimon Data Squad. It is also partnered to Sho Kahara in Digimon Next.
- Blade Below the Shoulder: The wing on its left arm is a bladed weapon used for melee attacks.
- Feather Flechettes Fires feathers made of Chrome Digizoid with Shadow Pierce.
- Tornado Move: Has an attack called Dark Tornado.
- Winged Humanoid: Its wings are attached to its arms.
Ravemon Burst Mode
A Ravemon that has temporarily reached the limits of its abilities through Burst Evolution, it is a unique form which wears all the energy within the atmosphere as an aura.
- Dance Battler: Its Dotou-Yami-Kumo-no-Mai is a boisterous dance driven by fury.
- Purple Is Powerful: Its wings, arms and legs are now purple.
- Super Mode: Burst Evolution has temporarily allowed it to reach the limits of its abilities.
Reapermon (Gokumon)
A fugitive Digimon born from the data of wanted criminals. To tell the truth, there is actually a price on its head, but it isn't distrusted as it is believed to be a "Bounty Hunter", as it is a strange villain on a hunt for criminals.
It was the Final Boss of Digimon Rumble Arena, and wouldn't make another proper appearance until Digimon Adventure: (2020) nearly two decades later.
- Chain Pain: It can fire off a chain from its left arm to incapacitate enemies.
- Characterization Marches On: Its current description has nothing to do with its original incarnation as the newest form of Adventure's Optional Boss Diaboromon.
- Generic Doomsday Villain: When it debuted in Rumble Arena, it was played up as the newest One-Winged Angel evolution of Diaboromon, at the expense of motivation or goal. Part of this involved the use of Final Boss, New Dimension, with the arena being an empty, dark plane with long chains of Kuramon eyes, like those that appeared in Diaboromon Strikes Back.
- Hunter of His Own Kind: Despite being considered a villain, Reapermon hunts down and kills other criminals, in an extremely brutal fashion.
- Playing with Fire: It's "Dokuro Senpū" and "Jaen Rengoku", the former of which combines this with Tornado Move and Spectacular Spinning.
- Sinister Scythe: Attached to its right arm.
Regalecusmon
An aloof aquatic Digimon that hates crowds. As a pirate who repeatedly assaults and loots the feeding grounds and territories of other Digimon, it is also the ruler of the abyss that stands at the apex of the food chain due to its overwhelming power. Its sword, made after tearing off a Zudomon's horn, and the giant pincer on its left arm, are symbols of awe which strike fear into those who see them.
- Arm Cannon: The pincer attached to its left hand fires plasma that blows everything around it away in a massive shockwave.
- BFS: Its sword is nearly as big as its entire body. Then again, it's made from a severed Zudomon horn and Zudomon are gigantic.
- Cool Sword: It wields a sword made out of a Zudomon's horn, which it tore out. Grisly.
- Fish People: Based on the giant oarfish. It even has the entire body of one for a head.
- Meaningful Name: Its name is derived from regalecus glense, the giant oarfish.
- Serrated Blade of Pain: Its sword is made from a Zudomon's serrated horn.
- Shock and Awe: Its Briona Strike attack accompanies a jab of its sword with a lightning bolt.
Regulumon
A Mega form of Leomon, alternate to SaberLeomon. It appeared as Leo's Mega level in Digimon V-Tamer 01.
- Out of Focus: Hasn't really appeared anywhere since V-Tamer.
- Panthera Awesome: It's a lion-man Digimon.
- Stellar Name: It's named after the star Regulus, which is part of the constellation Leo.
- Sword Beam: Its Regulus Cutter attack generates these.
Rosemon
A Fairy Digimon who has an appearance like a rose and is called the "queen of flowers". Possessing the form of a beautiful woman, it desires to remain such a way forever. Despite being pre-occupied by its looks, Rosemon's strength is still comparable to that of other Mega digimon, making it more than just a pretty face. It wears a jewel called the "Tifaret", which is engraved with the symbol of love and beauty and is said to give its wearer eternal beauty and power. Rosemon's specialty is "taming" other digimon, and those who are struck by her "Thorn Whip" technique become her slave in mind, body, and soul.
Rosemon is the Mega form of Yoshino (Yoshi) Fujieda's Lalamon in Digimon Data Squad, as well as Mimi Tachikawa's Palmon in the Digimon Adventure RPG, the WonderSwan games, Digimon Adventure tri., and Digimon Adventure: (2020). It's also been partnered to Mari Goutokuji of the Alias III.
- Amulet of Concentrated Awesome: Her "Tifaret" jewel. In her "Burst Mode" (see below) it even becomes weaponized.
- Badass Cape: A white cape with gold markings.
- Chained by Fashion: She has thorny vines wrapped around her body.
- Charm Person: The effect of getting hit with "Thorn Whip", combined with "Dominatrix" below. Any Digimon hit by this are enslaved as Rosemon's devoted servants. Either that, or they're just electrocuted.
- Cool Sword: Her "Roses Rapier", which still has her use the whip, but extended like a rapier and covered in electricity.
- Dominatrix: She's clearly designed with this in mind, and invoked with the effect of "Thorn Whip".
- Eyeless Face: She has a rose replacing her upper cranium, leaving her with no recognizable facial features above her nose.
- Fairy Sexy: Being a Fairy-Type Digimon, and being also clearly designed to be attractive, Rosemon fits this trope.
- Flower Motifs: It's named and designed after a rose.
- Green Thumb: Her "Ivy Hug" attack has her stab a vine into the ground, causing several more to bind and damage the opponent.
- High-Class Gloves: Has a couple of these, indicating its regal status.
- High Collar of Doom: Wears one based on a rose's stem.
- Immortality Begins at Twenty: She's eternally young and beautiful.
- Instant Sedation: Its "Rosy Cradle" attack puts enemies to sleep with a rose-scented gas.
- Kamehame Hadouken: One of the ways "Forbidden Temptation" is fired in Digimon Data Squad.
- Morton's Fork: A Yuramon can either Digivolve into a Tanemon or a Budmon, and their respective Ultimate forms Lilymon and Lilamon can both evolve into Rosemon. Lilamon however can potentially Digivolve into Lotusmon as well, but Rosemon appears to be the more common result.
- Ms. Fanservice: One of the most notorious examples of this in Digimon. In particular, "Forbidden Temptation" has her becoming completely naked... while her body is cloaked in energy to giver her a Barbie Doll Anatomy, of course. She also tends to be liberally used for fanservice in her anime appearences, most notoriously through liberal use of breast bounce.
- Navel Window: Her outfit shows her navel, and the opening looks vaguely heart-shaped.
- Navel-Deep Neckline: Her outfit is slit from her neck to her navel.
- Petal Power: "Forbidden Temptation" is this, combined with Distracted by the Sexy and Frickin' Laser Beams.
- Plant Person: A woman with a rose motif, which evolves from plant-based Digimon.
- Shock and Awe: "Thorn Whip" can deliver a shock to her enemy if she doesn't feel like enslaving them.
- Something about a Rose: As her name implies, Rosemon is a rose-themed Digimon. It's headgear is even in the shape of a rose.
- Spike Shooter: "Thorn Shot" and "Danger Thorn" both have her fire thorns at the opponent. Thorn Shot only fires one thorn, while Danger Thorn fires several.
- Vine Tentacles: Rosemon's signature Thorn Whip is an attack made with its thorn-covered vine whip.
- Whip of Dominance: Rosemon uses a whip in combat, which complements the Dominatrix motif of her design, with her wearing a Stripperiffic red leather suit, thigh-high heels and High-Class Gloves. Often the Thorn Whip attack has a Charm Person that leaves the Digimon struck by it become submissive to her.
- Whip Sword: "Roses Rapier" is depicted as such in Digimon Savers, whipping outward and growing to reach and spear her target.
Rosemon X (Rosemon (X-Antibody)).
Rosemon's vivid beauty has been drawn out, and its appearance, dyed a crimson so deep that all its red parts cause it to look completely washed out, even gives an overwhelming sense of inferiority to those who see it.
- High Collar of Doom: It's grown even larger, and now has a redder color.
- Ms. Fanservice: Worth noting again, in that she switched out the skin-tight body suit in favor of a multi-piece ensemble that includes chaps.
- Pimped-Out Cape: Its cape has gone from white to green, but the gold markings still remain.
Rosemon Burst Mode
Rosemon is also capable of entering Burst Mode by reaching the limits of her abilities via Burst Evolution. Exhibiting a unique aura of love and beauty, Rosemon's outfit has turned white and black, its cape appears to be made of energy, and it is surrounded by multiple Tifaret jewels.
- Beam Spam: "Aguichant Lèvres" fires beams from numerous heart symbols.
- Deliberately Monochrome: Its outfit is now prominently white, with her cape and collar being colored pink.
- Energy Weapon: Her cape generally qualifies as this, given she uses it to envelop her opponent when performing her "Charité" attack.
- Everything Sounds Sexier in French
- Heart Beat-Down: Its Aguichant Lèvres creates heart symbols that fire lasers.
- Kiss of Death: When using "Aguichant Lèvres", blowing a kiss precedes the "energy beams that blow the crap out of everything" part.
- Pure Energy: Her cape is covered in an aura of love and beauty, brought on through the pure energy that Burst Mode gives off.
- Spam Attack: Its "Tifaret" attack barrages the opponent with Tifaret Jewels.
- Super Mode: Burst Mode allows her to reach the limits of her abilities.
- Toyless Toyline Character: ShineGreymon, MirageGaogamon, and Ravemon all have Burst Modes in the Digivice Burst toy. Rosemon doesn't despite getting one in her anime appearance.
RustTyrannomon (RustTyranomon)
The ultimate form of Tyrannomon, which has been living through the fierce, long-lasting battles since Digital World's birth by evolving alongside it. It has endured many years in harsh enviroments as MetalTyrannomon, and its whole cyborg body is rusting. Its tactics specialise in annihilation warfare, mowing down its enemies along with their bases as one. RustTyrannomon predates on Digimon, gorging on hundreds of thousands of Digimon within a short period without leaving any trace.
- BFG: Somewhere along the way it acquired a large electromagnetic cannon
- Cyborg: It's a mechanical Tyrannomon.
- Kill It with Fire: It's "Rust Breath" attack unleashes scarlet flames which also induce rust.
- Meaningful Name: RustTyrannomon is so called because its mechanical parts are starting to rust.
- Stronger with Age: It was a MetalTyrannomon, which has lived for an incredibly long time and evolved somewhere along the way.
SaberLeomon
An Ancient Beast Digimon said to be capable of moving at mach speed. Its origins are unknown, but it is theorized that it was originally a Leomon transformed into a beast. Others think that it is actually Leomon's ancestor. With its speed, it can easily dodge attacks, and its overdeveloped fangs and claws possess great power. The needle-like hairs on its back are poisonous, and its claws can tear an enemy to shreds.
SaberLeomon appears in Digimon Adventure as the Mega form of Leomon. According to the D-Power line and official toys, it is also the Mega form of Juri Kato (Jeri Katou)'s Leomon.
- "Blind Idiot" Translation: "Twin Fang" is the dub name for "Infinity Arrow", which does not involve its teeth at all. The same goes for "Howling Crusher", the dub name for "Nail Crusher".
- Impossible Thief: Inverted. Saber Leomon's paws have all been sheared, and you can find the furs being worn by the Tailmon species as gloves.
- Informed Ability: SaberLeomon's supposed ability to move at mach speed has never been shown in its fictional appearances. Its Digimon Survive variant does have some of the highest base speed in the game, however.
- Lightning Bruiser: It's described as moving at mach speed, and has the power to match.
- Mega Neko: A form of Leomon that resembles a smilodon. It can also evolve into Dinotigermon, which is the size of a bus.
- Panthera Awesome: Naturally being a variety of Leomon along with a saber toothed cat, but it also has tiger-like stripes. Does that make it a liger?
- Prehistoric Monster: A smilodon that's also a member of the Leomon line.
- Retcon: When it debuted in Digital Monster Version S, it was a Level V monster, but it was almost immediately bumped up to Level VI with the release of the Pendulum v-pets.
- Spike Shooter: Its "Infinity Nail" technique has it harden its mane and fire the hairs at opponents. The hairs are also venomous, and paralyze on contact.
Sakuyamon
Sakuyamon holds the role of a miko, acting as an agent of a god's will. Like Taomon, it freely uses Onmyoudou techniques in battle, and has the ability to employ God Beast-species Digimon. It always carries four pipes on the belt around its waist, within which lurk four kuda-gitsune that possess the attributes of Fire, Water, Wind and Thunder, respectively. It's able to use these kuda-gitsune for everything from attacking to gathering information. Just like MagnaAngemon's Priest Mode, it is able to change into a Miko Mode that administers Shinto rituals. It wields the "Kongou Shakujou" (金剛錫杖? lit. "Vajra-Khakkhara"). Its gloves bear the Zero Unit, and the characters on the foreheads of the red, blue, green, and yellow kuda-gitsune read "Fire" (火 Hi?), "Water" (水 Mizu?), "Wind" (風 Kaze?), and "Thunder" (雷 Kaminari?), respectively.
Sakuyamon is Renamon's natural Mega form, and is partnered to Ruki Makino (Rika Nonaka) in Digimon Tamers and Miyuki Minase in Digimon Survive. One is also used by Fei Wong Tomoe Ignacio in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth.
- Asian Fox Spirit: Sakuyamon has four kudagitsune—fox spirits living in pipes—who assist her with elemental techniques.
- Bishōnen Line: From a humanoid fox as a Renamon and Taomon to a humanlike Digimon clad in armor designed after foxes.
- Familiar: She summons fox spirits.

- Informed Attribute: Sakuyamon's ability to summon God Beast digimon has never really been applied in any Digimon media. Admittedly this is a very restricted pool—for years, the only God Beast species that could be summoned was Huanglongmon, one of the Olympus Mons of the franchise.

- Ms. Fanservice: As is par for the course with feminine humanoid digimon, Sakuyamon is quite sexy.

- Petal Power: She can summon a storm of cherry blossoms.
- Sensual Spandex: Sakuyamon wears a tight black bodysuit. In the anime, she can donate her power to another digimon, which will cost her her armor and leave her in nothing but the bodysuit.

Miko Mode
A form Sakuyamon takes when it performs Shinto rituals and listens to God's will. It seldom fights in Miko Mode, but has strengthened its ability to exorcise evil spirits.
- Multiform Balance: Miko Mode is rarely recognized as a Super Mode (like Imperialdramon's Fighter Mode or Dukemon's Crimson Mode); it has stronger exorcism abilities but is apparently less useful for combat.
- Too Many Belts: SMM holds her hakama up with a pair of belts.
- Vapor Wear: Sakuyamon's red hakama have gaps in exactly the right places to indicate she isn't wearing anything underneath.
- Zigzag Paper Tassel: Sakuyamon Miko Mode carries an Ōnusa.
Sakuyamon X (Sakuyamon (X-Antibody))
Beginning with necromancy and Onmyoudou, it has grown into a specialist who has mastered every secret art that has been passed down through the eastern Digital World. By attuning itself closely to the Digital World's nature, it is able to transform various object data such as flora or rocks into shikigami in the shape of flowers or foxes, and order them to do its bidding. It is skilled in using its kuda-gitsune and shikigami for reconnaissance and espionage; acting as a watchman of the darkness, it strikes at its foes from the dark using the information it has obtained.
- The Archmage: As the master of every secret art passed down through the eastern Digital World.
- Shoulders of Doom: Sakuyamon X's bulbous spherical shoulder armor seems distinctly reminiscent of Samus' Varia Suit.
Shakamon
Rumored to be the being closest to Yggdrasill in the Digital World, Shakamon is the one that has protected the eastern Digital World since ancient times. It is a being replete with love, but it will occasionally impose an ordeal upon the Digital World in order to have it leap forward even further. Those ordeals are also Shakamon's love, and it is said that Shakamon is still waiting for the arrival of the Digimon that will overcome the ordeals. It is something meaningless to challenge Shakamon, who understands the underlying principles of heaven and earth.[1] The characters on its spheres read "One" (一 Ichi?) through "Sixteen" (十六 Jūroku?), a reference to the Sixteen Arhats.
- Big Good: Since it's apparently Yggdrasil's second in-command.
- Blue-and-Orange Morality: Most of its actions, beneficial, detrimental or otherwise are all in the name of progress for the Digital World and its inhabitants.
- Secret Test of Character: Routinely implements these, though apparently so far, no-one has actually overcome one.
ShineGreymon
A Light Dragon Digimon which fights with the red-hot solar energy it accumulates, and whose "GeoGrey Sword" contains the condensed power of Gaia. ShineGreymon is the Mega form of Agumon (2006 Anime Version), and is Masaru Daimon (Marcus Damon)'s partner in Digimon Data Squad.
- Chest Blaster: Fires its Glorious Burst and Corona Splash attacks from the lens on its chest.
- Double Weapon: It wields a double-ended sword called the GeoGrey Sword.
- Flaming Sword: It can envelop its sword in flames.
- Gold Makes Everything Shiny: Its mutant variant in Digimon Linkz wears armor that's mostly gold. Its version of the GeoGrey Sword is also almost entirely gold.
- Palette Swap: In Digimon Linkz, being mutated by Volcanicdramon alters it to a much darker color scheme, with its armor mostly being black and gold. Most of the rest is a much darker shade of red.
- Playing with Fire: Shoots bullets of fire from its chest with Corona Splash.
- Power of the Sun: Powers its attacks with sunlight, which it focuses through the lenses on its wings.
- Recurring Element: Being the armor-clad Mega level to a form of Agumon, this trope is to be expected.
- Solar and Lunar: It is strongly connected to the sun, with many of its attacks relying on accumulation and release of solar energy, contrasting it with the lunar-themed MirageGaogamon.
ShineGreymon Burst Mode
A ShineGreymon which has temporarily reached the limits of its ability through Burst Evolution, it is a unique form which wears an aura of solar-class high energy flames.
- BFS: Its "Corona Blaze Sword" has it fuse its sword and shield into one large greatsword.
- Flaming Sword: It now wields a sword that is made of fire, which it can merge with its fiery shield.
- Hot Wings: Most official artwork shows it with these emitting from its armor, though Digimon Data Squad shows its wings emitting a bright red energy instead.
- Super Mode: Burst Mode a temporary state, but allows a ShineGreymon to wield the absolute limits of its power.
- Temporary Online Content: Its first appearance is as a downloadable Digimon for the DigiWindow in November of 2006.
ShineGreymon Ruin Mode
A form of ShineGreymon, who defeated its comrades, hurting its pride, that unleashed its power through hatred. Its desire for unlimited power transformed its solar energy, which was originally "positive" energy, into dark energy, which is "negative" energy. Its Special Moves have all been drastically enhanced by dark energy as well. However, if it draws out dark energy that exceeds its limits during battle, it will run the risk of turning into a Digi-Egg.
- Casting a Shadow: It now wields dark energy and its wings are made of the stuff. Despite this, it shares the Light Dragon type with its other forms.
- Deadly Upgrade: If ShineGreymon stays in this form long enough or overuses its dark powers, it runs the risk of turning back into a Digi-Egg.
- Palette Swap: Of Burst Mode.
- The Power of Hate: ShineGreymon only reaches this mode through hatred.
- Red and Black and Evil All Over: Its torso armor, helmet, and extremities have this color scheme, fitting with it being the Evil Counterpart to Burst Mode. The DS-era games applied this to all of its armor, with even the lightest parts being slate-gray at the brightest.
DotShineGreymon
- Everything's Better with Rainbows: Lost Evolution gives it an attack called Omega Rainbow Flare. In Digimon World Dawn, it has Omega Rainbow Force as an equippable ability.
- Playing with Fire: In Digimon World Dawn, it has ShineGreymon's Glorious Burst.
ShinMonzaemon
A Puppet Digimon that evolved as a result of Monzaemon taking in nightmare-related analysis data. At first glance, it is shaped like a teddy bear, but it is actually a fluffy, amorphous Digimon with a mysterious nature, like a cross between slime and clouds. It is a moody Digimon that has a childish personality and does not act intelligently. It has a habit of liking and taking in simple and cute things, and chooses immature Digimon that are Child-level and below as its targets. On the other hand, since it considers Digimon that have matured to be "repulsive beings with impurities mixed in with their data", it hates even getting close to them. When it feeds, it extends its soft wings to envelop its targets. Because its whole body is made up of powerful energy, weak Digimon are said to completely lose consciousness just by touching it.
- Adult Hater: It sees mature Digimon as repulsive and impure due to its own immaturity, but avoids them rather than attacking them.
- Blob Monster: The purple amorphous mass is its body and it now wears its former teddy bear body as a suit.
- Eye Beams: Its Sweet Lovely Attack is one of these fired from its left eye and aimed at its target's digicore.
- Killer Teddy Bear: It used to be a regular Monzaemon, but absorbing nightmare data has turned it into a Blob Monster in a teddy bear suit.
- Manchild: Despite being a Mega level, it's become far more childish than it was as Monzaemon, and is prone to throwing tantrums.
- Meaningful Name: "Shin" is a word with multiple meanings in Japanese, including "true", "new" or "god".
- Power Gives You Wings: The boost of power that allowed Monzaemon to evolve has also given it a pair of wings.
- Power-Upgrading Deformation: The same nightmare energy that has allowed it to evolve has torn Monzaemon's body apart, so much so it's lost its right arm, left leg and pretty much all of its torso.
- Purple Is Powerful: The energy it absorbed has come out in a purple aura.
- Shapeshifter Weapon: Its Fancy Fantasia turns its arm into a hammer.
Shivamon
An Insect Mega Digimon that digivolved by achieving enlightenment through yoga. It is a rigorous seeker of peace who attempts to guide others with its calm spirit. It shows its violent disposition to those who lack decorum or disturb the peace, and annihilates them without mercy. The energy concealed within its body is as powerful as nuclear fuel, and it is a god of destruction that pulverizes everything when push comes to shove.
- Enlightenment Superpower: Its evolution came from achieving enlightenment specifically through yoga.
- Levitating Lotus Position: Played with. Its feet are crossed in the lotus position but it doesn't levitate itself, rather it sits on a floating lotus shaped pad.
Shoutmon DX
The "Crusade Mode" born when OmegaShoutmon, who boasts the swiftest speed, obtained the fighting strength of ZekeGreymon, who boasts unparalleled power, incarnating in its high defensive and offensive power without losing OmegaShoutmon's speed by obtaining ZekeGreymon's "Gold Digizoid". There is never an opponent too formidable before the "Crusade Mode", who boasts high mobility and offensive power.
Shoutmon DX possesses a disposition that contrasts clever divinity with ferocious bestiality, deriving from the instincts within OmegaShoutmon and ZekeGreymon. Although it normally has a mild, kind, and friendly personality, once it gets into battle, it has a complete about-face to a warrior burning with fury. It becomes both cool and audacious enough for battles to get violent, and that appearance is fitting to the name of "Crusade Mode", as it seems to be one who acts as an agent of divine punishment.
Due to being Xrossed from OmegaShoutmon and ZekeGreymon, it is naturally partnered to Taiki (Mikey) Kudo and Kiriha (Christopher) Aonuma.
- Arm Cannon: It has a small gun on its right arm that it uses for its Electric Buster Xros and Hyper Rock Magnum attacks.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Once it gets into battle, it stops being nice, thanks to the ZekeGreymon parts of its psyche.
- Blade Below the Shoulder: It has a two-bladed sword on its right arm and a shield with Wolverine Claws on its left.
- Chrome Champion: Just like OmegaShoutmon and ZekeGreymon.
- Double Weapon: The sword on its right arm has two blades.
- Draconic Humanoid: It primarily takes OmegaShoutmon's form.
- Foe-Tossing Charge Its Brave Beat Rock Double Xros attack has it perform one while Wreathed in Flames.
- Fusion Dance: A merged OmegaShoutmon and ZekeGreymon.
- Homing Projectile: Its Hyper Rock Magnum attack shoots homing fireballs from its Arm Cannon.

Shoutmon EX6
Shoutmon EX6 has become the "Evolution Mode". It is formed from the digixros of evolved Digimon that included OmegaShoutmon, and is considered to surpass Shoutmon X7 in defensive and flying ability because its body and wings shine gold and silver. The "Demolition Horn" on its left arm destroys any armor in addition to super-oscillating the instant it pierces it. Also, it is equipped with the "Sol Calibur" sword on its right arm.
It is the ultimate Xros between the strongest forms of Shoutmon, MetalGreymon (2010), Ballistamon, Dorulumon and Sparrowmon in Digimon Xros Wars. Due to their components, it is partnered to Taiki (Mikey) Kudo, Kiriha (Christopher) Aonuma, Zenjirou (Jeremy) Tsurugi, Akari (Angie) Hinomoto, and Kotone Amano.
- Blade Below the Shoulder: Its right arm has two, with one or both of them called the Sol Calibur. It also has a drill called the Demolition Horn on its left arm.
- Chrome Champion: What with OmegaShoutmon, ZekeGreymon and RaptorSparrowmon' Gold Digizoid armor. Original art for it in the manga depicted it as completely gold and silver, even the Ballistamon and Dorulumon parts.
- Cool Sword: The Star Sword is replaced with the "Sol Calibur", formed from RaptorSparrowmon's pinions, and can actually be reattached as its own tail.

Shoutmon X5B
The "Pegasus-Wargod" Mode formed when Beelzebumon granted further power to Shoutmon X5, which incarnated from five Digimon. Beelzebumon's firepower has been added to the full power of Shoutmon X5, who boasts of being unmatched either on land or in the air, boosting its fighting strength exponentially.
Even though it's a variation of Shoutmon X5, it is considered a Mega level unlike the Ultimate X5 and is listed here as a result.
- Ability Mixing: Its Burst Dash Stream attack combines Meteor Buster Attack, Meteor Impact, and Chaos Flare into a single move.
- All Your Powers Combined: Has the combined ability sets of Shoutmon X4B and Shoutmon X5, plus an added attack that combines one of the former with two of the latter.
- Chest Blaster: It still has Shoutmon X3's Three Victorize and gets a new attack called 5B Victorize.
- Our Centaurs Are Different: It's basically Shoutmon X4B with all the upgrades that Sparrowmon gives X5 including flight.

Shoutmon X7
The "Ardor-Burst Mode" which digixrosed together four Digimon with Shoutmon DX and attained further power. Its four passionate hearts burn within the "Gold Digizoid" that comprises its body, and emits a diving aura. When Shoutmon X7 stands upon the battlefield, it is the realisation of a peaceful world, which is the entire goal of the Digimon that digixrosed into Shoutmon X7. If it carries those wishes in its heart, it is able to keep going forward without even yielding to any kind of attack.
Shoutmon X7 is a Xros between OmegaShoutmon, ZekeGreymon, Ballistamon, Dorulumon and Sparrowmon, and is among the strongest Xrosses in Digimon Fusion. It's partnered to Taiki (Mikey) Kudo, Kiriha (Christopher) Aonuma, and Nene Amano.
- ArmCannon: This appears to be the arm that doesn't hold the sowrd still has Sparrowmon's Zanahoria pistols.
- Beam Spam: Seven Victorize Maximum fires seven V-shaped beams that can also be combined into a single beam.
- Chrome Champion: The parts of it that come from OmegaShoutmon and ZekeGreymon are made of Gold Digizoid.
- Fusion Dance: Between OmegaShoutmon, ZekeGreymon, Ballistamon, Dorulumon, and Sparrowmon.
- Hot-Blooded: It's formed from the shared passion of its components. Its "Xros Burning Rocker" has it concentrate all its burning passion into its staff, which becomes wreathed in hellfire, then smashes the enemy with it.

- Iconic Item: It wields a giant version of base-form Shoutmon's mic.
- Implacable Man: So long as it retains its desire for a peaceful world, X7 just won't stop.

Shoutmon X7 Superior Mode (Shoutmon X7F Superior Mode)
The "Awakening Mode" that Shoutmon X7 powers up into by turning several desires for peace into strength. The radiance of the aura overflowing from its Gold Digizoid has increased further, and it possesses wings of holy light. While carrying all hopes on its shoulders, it fights evil to guide the Digital World to peace, concentrating its blazing heart into the "Burning Rocker".
In Digimon Fusion, Shoutmon attained this form by DigiXrosing with nearly every Digimon alive, potentially making the Fusion version of Superior Mode the strongest iteration of any Digimon throughout the franchise.
- Characterization Marches On: In its debut in Xros Wars, it was a fusion of every Digimon ever. Its profiles treat it more logically as just being a Golden Super Mode for Shoutmon X7.
- Chrome Champion: Is now almost completely gold digizoid, even more so than X7 proper.
- Good Hurts Evil: Its Final Xros Blade is harmless to good Digimon, but instantly kills evil Digimon and reverts them to digi-eggs.
- Laser Blade: The only attack it doesn't share with X7 is Final Xros Blade, a sword of light formed by concentrating power into its microphone.
- Mythology Gag: Its official description describes this form as X7 turning several Digimons' desires to peace into its own strength, similar to how its initial debut showed it being formed from every ally Digimon willingly pooling their strength together to form it. It's just not as literal as was back then.
- One-Hit Kill: Though harmless to good Digimon, its Final Xros Blade is instantly lethal to evil Digimon.
- Power Gives You Wings: Has sprouted glowing golden wings from its back and legs.

Shroudmon
- Blood Knight: Loves fighting to the point it forces opponents it's already beaten to keep fighting.
- Elemental Punch: Its Gokuen Hakaishu is an all-destroying fiery roundhouse kick.
- Evil Counterpart: To Kazuchimon. Shroudmon fights purely for its own enjoyment whereas Kaduchimon believes that battle is a sacred art form that must always be refined.
- Red Baron: It's known as the Fierce God.
- Playing with Fire: Two of its attacks use fire and one is said to boast the greatest firepower of any single Digimon.
An Ultimate-level Light Dragon Digimon that is affiliated with the group of justice, the Virus Busters. Whenever it senses a voice crying for help or ill intent, even from far away, it will descend like a comet and bring down the enemy with the "Sylvia" composite gunblades equipped to both its arms. However, even in battle, it is a kind-hearted being who brightens up everything around it to the point that if it senses a change of heart in its opponent, it will lay down its arms and open up to them.
Siriusmon is the Mega form of Gammamon and is partnered to Hiro Amanokawa.
- Arm Cannon/Blade Below the Shoulder: Its arm-mounted Sylvias double as both cannons and blades.
- Cast from Hit Points: Its Planet Knuckle is a punch powered by its life energy.
- Energy Weapon: Its cannons fire energy beams for its Photon Blaster attack.
- Light 'em Up: Its ranged attacks are both light-based. It also shares the Light Dragon type with ShineGreymon.
- Primary-Color Champion: Its armor is mostly white with red and gold parts while its wings and Sylvias are blue. Both the armor and weapons add pink to the mix.
- Star Power: The Sword Beam fired during its Break-Quasar attack is made of starlight.
- Stellar Name: It's named after Sirius, the brightest star in the sky.
- Sword Beam: Its Break-Quasar is a slash of starlight that follows the shot from its Photon Blaster until the two attacks collide and explode.
SkullMammothmon (SkullMammon)
Once a Mammothmon, it continued to battle with Virus-species Digimon until its body was eroded away completely, leaving nothing but bones. However, its Vaccine based survival instincts are strong, even in death, and it exterminated the virus that left it this way, unexpectedly losing its emotions and intelligence in the process. Its Digicore remains intact, allowing SkullMammothmon to keep moving, but should it be struck, it would spell the end for it.
- Attack Its Weak Point: SkullMammothmon's Digicore is exposed for all to see, and any damage to it would mean death for the Digimon.
- Ballistic Bone: Its "Spiral Bone" attack involves throwing one of its vertebrae at its enemy.
- Creepy Shadowed Undereyes: It has them under its mask.
- Dem Bones: A Mammothmon rendered down to its skeleton, leaving its Digicore exposed.
- Elephant Graveyard: A walking elephants' graveyard.
- Honorable Elephant: It kept on fighting Virus Digimon until its flesh had completely eroded. If that doesn't qualify, what does?
- Loss of Identity: Its continued survival resulted in this.
- Prehistoric Monster: Like the prior Mammothmon, SkullMammothmon is based on the woolly mammoth.
- Raising the Steaks: A skeletal, undead mammoth.
- Spikes of Villainy: Its profile doesn't call it evil, but the spikes running up and down its back are definitely evocative.
SkullMammothmon X (SkullMammon (X-Antibody))
Having continued to battle despite turning to bones, all that awaited it was actual death, but only its skeleton started to grow due to the influence of the X-Antibody. It stands completely on two legs, and its forelimbs have changed to being claw-shaped to tear up the enemy. Its skull developed abnormally and now has gigantic horns, becoming powerful weapons that inflict heavy damage to the enemy when it charges at them.
- Bishounen Line: It walks on its hind legs, rather than all fours.
SlashAngemon
- Debut: Digimon World 3Attacks: (Original) Heaven's Ripper, Holy Espada; (Dub) Golden Ripper, Heaven's Sword/Blade of the True
A Power Digimon that commands the Powers and cuts through the vanguard in battle. As it persists in justice, it does not fear death. Along with the blades of its metal wings and hands, its entire body has gained a razor-sharp appearance, and it is surely an Angel Warrior created in order to battle wicked beings.
SlashAngemon appears in Digimon World 3 as the natural Mega form of Kotemon. It also appears as a frequent Mega level to Shakkoumon, but is not currently partnered to anyone yet.
- Absurdly Sharp Blade: Its wings and arms each consist of blades, with which it uses to cut enemies to ribbons with its Heaven's Ripper attack.
- Bishōnen Line: In Digimon World 3, it's the final form of Kotemon. That means it goes from a vaguely reptilian kendo student (Kotemon), to a human-sized lizard (Dinohyumon), to a Kamaitachi (Kyukimon), to a human angel clad in armor.
- "Blind Idiot" Translation: Is rather infamously called "SlushAngemon" in the dub of Digimon Fusion.
- Inconsistent Dub: It's known as GuardiAngemon in Digimon World 3 and Digimon World DS, SlushAngemon in Digimon Fusion, and kept as SlashAngemon just about everywhere else.
- Light 'em Up: Its signature move, Holy Espada, where it creates a cross-shaped blast and launches it at its opponent.
- Rank Scales with Asskicking: It's said to command the Powers from Christian mythology, and its more battle-ready design evokes this aspect. It's even referred to as an "Authority Type" in English.
Slayerdramon
A Dragon Man Digimon whose body is clad in Chrome Digizoid scale armor. It is said that its form is one that can only be attained by those who complete the training that is called "The Trial of the Four Great Dragons", which can only be challenged by Dragon Digimon. It carries the extensible greatsword Fragarach, and has mastered the original fencing technique "Ryuzanken".

- Badass Cape: Slayerdramon has a green one on its back.
- Clean Cut: "Tenryūzanha" (translated as Divine Dragon Slash Ripper), which can cut clean through an opponent vertically.
- Gratuitous Japanese: Unlike most Digimon attacks, Slayerdramon's are named and transliterated from Japanese.

- Shout-Out: Fragarach was the sword of Mannanan mac Lir and Lugh Lamfada in Celtic Mythology.
- Sword Beam: "Shouryūzanpa" (lit. Rising Dragon Slash Wave)
- Training from Hell: To obtain this form, a dragon must undergo the "Trial of the Four Great Dragons."
- Tron Lines: Has them on its Chrome Digizoid armor.
- Whip Sword: While not whip shaped, it has been depicted to extend not unlike Ivy's.
Spinomon
It inhabits the green depths of the jungle. It boasts the greatest and strongest powers among the Dinosaur Digimon living in the Digital World, and it is said that it possesses strength equal to that of Dinorexmon. Due to its extreme belligerence it leads a highly brutal existence, but the latest research has made it clear that it possesses astonishing intelligence. The blades on its back have become its greatest feature, and since they possess excellent defensive and offensive power, if it suffers a direct attack, the attacker is forced to suffer nearly fatal wounds. It can also shoot off the blades on its back, and since they keep growing back in an inexhaustible supply, don't count on it running out.
- Breath Weapon: It can shoot a lance of 15,000°C plasma from its mouth.
- Dinosaurs Are Dragons: It's part of the Dragon's Roar field, despite being a fairly typical pseudo-dinosaurian monster otherwise.
- Savage Spinosaurs: It's — very loosely — based off of Spinosaurus.
- Spike Shooter: It can fire off the blades on its back in a deadly burst.
Suijinmon
A Machine Digimon which possesses parts from both Justimon and Mugendramon. While the reason why these parts are used is unknown, there is no doubt it has great combat strength. It debuted as one of Lord Megadeath's partners in Digimon World 3.
- Arm Cannon: On both arms. They happen to be copies of Justimon's Accel Arm.
- Cyborg: It's been upgraded with parts from Justimon, using its Accel Arms, and Mugendramon's Mugen Cannons.
- Our Centaurs Are Different: It has a quadrupedal lower body.
- Top-Heavy Guy: Its top half is very bulky.
Surfimon
Although it is an aquatic Digimon, it has been enhanced to allow for quick movement even outside of water. It has the personality of a lone wolf, and dislikes schooling like fish due to its great pride.
- Chainsaw Good: It can move the spikes on its armor like the blade of a chainsaw. The hoverboard also has a buzzsaw on it.
- Eyes Do Not Belong There: That green gem-looking is actually a third eye that it uses to summon its hoverboard. It falls into this since the perception-based symbolism for the third eye is completely avoided and the top of Surfimon's head is further away from its regular eyes, what with it being a Shark Man and all.
- Hover Board: It flies around on a hoverboard that it summons from its third eye.
- Named Weapons: Surfimon's hoverboard is named the Dash Slider.
- Pride: The reason why it's a loner and dislikes forming schools with other fish Digimon.
- Shark Man: A humanoid with the head of a shark.
Susanoomon
Tactimon
A soldier Digimon that possesses a peerless sword called Jaejetsufufin-maru. Within the Jaejetsufujin-maru is sealed a sinister power strong enough to split a star in two, so drawing this sword marks the collapse of a star. Therefore, Tactimon fights without drawing the sword, but even so it exhibits the destructive force of its menace. If it stabs the ground once it generates an earthquake, if twice it awakens one hundred dead warriors, and if thrice it collapses the surrounding land with a shockwave. The Jaejetsufujin-maru, which conceals such power, is not just a sword that anyone can handle. From that alone can you understand the depths of Tactimon's true might. Even more than its merit as a soldier, it excels in strategy with plans that are said to be "ingenuity itself, as if gushing forth like a spring", so Tactimon's true merit is not in physical strength but in ingenuity. When Tactimon leads an army, the outcome has already been decided, and it has been said that "the victory has been decided before it has even fought". Due to the various plans it has laid out, when Tactimon stands upon the battlefield it has already guaranteed its absolute advantage.
Tactimon was one of the Three Generals serving under the Bagra Army in Digimon Fusion and its manga adaptation.
- Badass Cape: It appears to have a red lining and black back.
- Bowdlerize: Its bio was altered to remove any mention of earthquakes.
- The Chessmaster: A genius strategist. If Tactimon decides to take part in a fight, it's already as good as won.
- Cool Sword: Tactimon's Jaejetsufujin-maru (Snake and Iron Sealed God), apparently strong enough to split stars in two.
- Dishing Out Dirt: Can cause earthquakes with Ichi-no-Tachi and San-no-Tachi.
- Night of the Living Mooks: Capable of using its sword to summon a hundred dead warriors.
- Power Limiter: A self-inflicted version. Tactimon fights without drawing its sword.
- Retcon: In 2020, the Digimon Reference Book made it a Mega.
- Samurai: Wears a samurai helmet.
- Shoulder Cannon: Has two of this that it uses for its Tanegashima attack, which is named for a Japanese matchlock rifle.
- The Strategist: It's in his name.
Takutoumon
A God Man Digimon born from the data of a certain warrior from Chinese legend. It is a hero who despises deceiving others, and uses its sword to resolve actions that deviate from the path of righteousness. It frequently imposes its own sense of justice onto others, and since it does not even make the effort to explain itself again, it often fights alone. It has abandoned dialogue with anyone else and remains extremely taciturn, possibly because it believes that one's own thoughts are enough as long as they make sense to oneself. When forced into a conservation with someone, Takutoumon's white mouse-shaped, mechanical pet "Paishū" (White Mouse) will speak on its behalf. As such, whenever Takutoumon speaks itself, it is limited to when it has something particularly important to say. Also, its treasure tool "Bǎo Tǎ", which contains data from Shakamon, is housed within the gauntlet on its left palm, and since it can use this to seal away the opponent's fighting spirit, Takutoumon forces the Digimon that oppose it to become more docile.
- Fusion Dance: It's a fusion of Beowulfmon and Bryweludramon despite neither of them being based on Chinese myth. note
- Hard Light: Its pagoda is a construct of glowing energy that becomes semi-transparent when enlarged and dropped on another Digimon.
- Magical Floating Shawl: It has a gold one due to being based on a Buddhist deity and having access to some of Shakamon's data.
- The Quiet One: To the point that it mostly relies on a robotic mouse to speaks for it. Takutoumon only speaks if it has something especially important to say.
- Religious and Mythological Theme Naming: It's named after Takutō Tennō, the Japanese name for Li Jing. In Chinese media, its name is Píshāménshòu, after Píshāméntiān, the Chinese analogue of Vaiśravaṇa, one of Buddhism's Four Heavenly Kings.
- Sword Beam: Its Tenseizan has it swing its sword to emit blades of light.
Takutoumon: Wrath Mode
The form that Takutoumon boldly Mode Changes into when throwing itself into great battles. The Bǎo Tǎ has materialized into armor, its white mouse-shaped karakuri has transformed into a trident, and its appearance is a manifestation of the data of an "Eastern God" who is identified with a legendary warrior.
It amplifies its own power by releasing the vast amount of fighting spirit it had stolen and sealed within the Bǎo Tǎ all at once. However, it is an extremely aggressive and dangerous form that went into a state one can safely say is berserk as a result of gaining this immense power.
The Bǎo Tǎ, which is now its armor, not only protects its body, but can also be detached into smaller components and deployed as autonomous attack units for long-range shooting.
- The Berserker: This form has gone berserk from the massive amount of fighting spirit it has realised.
- Equippable Ally: Its mouse companion has become a trident.
- Red Is Violent: It has gained several red pieces of armor and is now a berserker.
- Reflecting Laser: Its Ryūsen Rangeki reflects beams from its trident off of its drines to hit enemies.
- Wave-Motion Gun: Its Bishamon Hakkyoku Senjin is a beam powerful enough to destroy a mountain.
TigerVespamon
It defends the mysterious "aerial, covert honey base, Royal Base". Vespamon boasts an astounding degree of stamina that could not be imagined from its slight and thorny silhouette, and it never stops moving during combat. The best of the best, said to be the top 0.08%, are inducted into the "covert honey corps, Royal Commando", and awarded a codename. Its codename "Tiger" comes from the fact that it is by far the best in solo combat, and it wields twin blades shaped like tiger fangs, the "covert honey arms, Royal Meister" (Deu: Royal Master).
TigerVespamon is the main partner of Fei Wong Tomoe Ignacio in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, and is also partnered to Takuto from Digimon Story: Lost Evolution.
- Dual Wielding: With laser-blades.
- Laser Blade: It wields two of them.
A Mineral Digimon that can be said to be the avatar of nature, ruling over rain and thunder. It has the ability to bless dry land with rain, and inflict divine punishment upon those who destroy nature with lightning to purify them. It is usually cheerful and calm, but occasionally displays ferocity to the point of being brutal. Its dual nature, akin to embodying nature itself, awes the Digimon that inhabit the land. While it has a cute, child-like appearance, it has extremely high specs even in battle, and its body, which is made of ore data, boasts high hardness, and it attacks by freely manipulating the grass and vines that grow all over its body.
- Bolt of Divine Retribution: Due to its command of thunder, it can blast destroyers of nature with purifying lightning.
- Fusion Dance: Despite not looking remotely like any of them, it is fromed by a fusion of any two out of SaberLeomon, ElDoradimon, and MetalEtemon.
- Green Thumb: it can manipulate the plants that grow from its body, though neither of its attacks involve it doing so.
- Making a Splash: It has power over water, which it channels through its left-hand staff, with its command of rain.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: it has a child-like appearance dispite being a jogress of two other Megas.
- Plant Person: Downplayed. It has a lot of plants growing from it, but its main body is made of ore data.
- Religious and Mythological Theme Naming: It's named after Tláloc, a rain god from Aztec religion. Its attack names follow a similar religious theme. Netotiliztli is named after a religious dance. Its second attack, Nahui Quiahuitl, is named after the third of the Five Suns, which Tlaloc presided over.
- Shock and Awe: It has power over thunder, which comprises half of its domain. Its artwork shows it channeling its lightning powers through its right-hand staff.
- Wave-Motion Gun: Its Nahui Quiahuitl has it combine its water and thunder powers into a massive beam.
TonosamaMamemon
A Mamemon that read the image data of a jidaigeki and mutated. It is easygoing, carefree and always cheerful, dragging along its hakama, which is hard to walk about in, and constantly tripping over, rolling and getting tangled up in it, bringing laughter to those who see it and brightening their spirits. It is tolerant in that it will accept any Digimon that comes to its castle, but once a Digimon that disturbs the area around the castle appears, it will... punish them without mercy... while rolling.
- Beware the Nice Ones: An affable sort with an amusing walk who welcomes all kinds of Digimon into its abode. Disrupt the peaceful atmosphere, and it will show no mercy towards you.
- Cherry Blossoms: Depicted in its official art in the middle of a shower of cherry blossom petals.
- Combat Hand Fan: It wields one.
- Expy: Of PrinceMamemon. One's a (faux) western prince, the other is a feudal lord.
- It's Personal: Ruin the peace it cultivates in its castle and it will kill you.
- King Mook: It's a Mega level member of the Mamemon family.
- Petal Power: Has an attack called Appare Zakura.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: As with most Digimon related to Mamemon.
TyrantKabuterimon
The "King of Bugs" that governs all Insect Digimon. Its stronghold, the "Under Forest", exists deep underneath the darkest forest, and it is said that it only moves at night. It is able to manipulate every Insect Digimon at will, so it almost never fights in person. Due to the high density Chrome Digizoid which compose its shell, it is thought to be impossible for ordinary Digimon to even scratch it.
TyrantKabuterimon is a possible canon partner to Keisuke Amasawa, should he have chosen Tentomon.
- Flunky Boss: Summons and manipulates the other insect digimon to fight for it.
- Horns of Villainy: its massive jaws is actually it's two horns with its actual face located at the base of its lower horn with virus typing and the fact that it has tyrant in its name along with the fact that it uses other insect type digimon to fight for it it is possible that some of the more violent insect digimon are actually acting under its control and not their own volition states that this is not a nice digimon.
- Orcus on His Throne: Due to its ability to control every other insect type digimon it barely ever fights itself.
- Purple Is Powerful: It is the strongest of all insect type digimon and its body is mostly covered in purple digizoid armor.
UltimateBrachiomon (UlitmateBrachimon)
A Cyborg Digimon which boasts of being the largest on land, and the heaviest. The boosters equipped to its back spray downward, supporting the weight of its colossal body, and are used when moving. It has undergone very heavy-duty remodelling, and although its moving speed is by no means fast, its bulky armor makes it unnecessary for it to evade the enemy's attacks, and it is impossible to prevent the backlash of its superweapon, released from the gunport on its chest, unless you are UltimateBrachiomon's weight.
- "Blind Idiot" Translation: The official translation is "Ultimate Brakimon". The dinosaur is "Brachiosaurus".
- Cyborg: A cyborg dinosaur, no less.
- Mighty Glacier: It was incredibly slow and heavy even before it got all that bulky armor added to it. Fortunately for UltimateBrachiomon, it can just tank any attack.
- Mix-and-Match Critters: Mostly a sauropod-based Digimon, but its head looks more like a ceratopsid's than a Brachiosaurus.
UltimateChaosmon
UltimateChaosmon is a Digimon born from the fusion of BanchoLeomon, Darkdramon, Varodurumon, and Kentaurosmon. Because of the strain that comes from fusing four mighty powers at once, Chaosmon's power is concentrated in its arms and they have grown massive as a result. Because it is unable to store its Digicores within its body, so the two of them are now exposed bare upon its shoulders. It is unable to suppress its power, and it constantly flows from its body as though it were leaking out. As such, Rookie digimon and below are unable to approach it without being deleted.
UltimateChaosmon appears as the final enemy of the manga version Digimon Xros Wars, as a form taken by ZeedMillenniumon at the end of the story.

- And Show It to You: A variant like Chaosmon above, in that its separate Digicores are exposed. Unlike Chaosmon, in this case, they're absolutely huge and look like an enormous pair of eyes.
- Body Horror: Has severely oversized limbs, a withered, out of scale torso, two exposed Digicores that look like enormous eyes, and some of those limbs are twisted, tortured-looking versions of the Digimon that comprise it.
- Dub Name Change: Its original dub name was "UltimateKaosmon".
- Eldritch Abomination: Based on the original Eldritch Abomination from Greek Mythology.
- Fusion Dance: Between BanchoLeomon, Darkdramon, Kentaurosmon, and Varodurumon.
- Good Wings, Evil Wings: Has one bird-like angelic wing from Varodurumon, and one demonic dragon wing possibly from Darkdramon.
- Greek Mythology: In addition to being named after "chaos", as in "disorder", UltimateChaosmon is also based on certain depictions of the primordial Chaos from this.
- Mother of a Thousand Young: In the Xros Wars manga, its existence begins creating such digimon as Megidramon.
- Multi-Armed and Dangerous: Varodurumon's claw and BanchoLeomon's hand are corrupted into darker variants, and BanchoLeomon and Darkdramon's spirits can be seen acting as extra arms.
- Reality-Breaking Paradox: Chaosmon is already a living computer glitch that should never have existed. This evolution goes even further. By all rights, its code should have collapsed in on itself the moment it was formed. It's so unnatural and unstable that its mere existence strains the Digital World.
- Top-Heavy Guy: Its arms and Digicores are absolutely massive, but the core of its body is extremely tiny in comparison.
- Walking Wasteland: Rookie-level Digimon and anything lower can't even approach it without being deleted.
- Wave-Motion Gun: "Ultima Burst" fires a blast of energy from its Digicores.
Valkyrimon
A Warrior Digimon of Norse mythology. It is accompanied by the golden bird "Flare" (Freyr), which informs it if danger approaches. It is said that it produces an aurora from the shining armor it wears, which resurrects the data of heroes that have fallen in battle, and returns them to a new Digi-Egg. It is the possessor of such speed that it shows up like a gale, then slashes at the opponent with a swiftness too quick to catch with the eyes. It wields the cursed, absolute zero "Feral Sword" (Fenrir Sword), and the unerring "Aurvandil's Arrow" (アウルヴァンディルの矢 Aurvandil no Ya?).
Assorted Wonderswan games depict Valkyrimon as the true Mega form of Miyako (Yolei) Inoue's Hawkmon from Digimon Adventure 02.
- An Ice Person: It can freeze its opponents with Feral Sword.
- Familiar: The golden bird on its shoulder, Freyr, is one.
- The Straight and Arrow Path: It can shoot homing arrows.
- Tornado Move: Its Sanction Storm attack creates tornadoes.
- Valkyries: As the name will tell you, Valkyrimon is based on these female Norse warriors. Its sword and arrow are even named after figures of Norse mythology to drive the point home.
Varodurumon (Valdurmon)
A mythical Holy Bird Digimon that inhabits the stratosphere 40,000 meters up in the sky. It possesses six gigantic wings, and when it spreads them to their widest its wingspan reaches as much as 30 m. According to legend it's the guardian of the sky, and it's said that it is an ancient Digimon that has existed since the creation of the Digital World. Its feathers normally emit the holy light of its "Purge Shine".
Varodurumon is a partner to Kizuna in Digimon Story: Lost Evolution, as well as the Mega form of Minoru Hinata's Falcomon in Digimon Survive.
- Care-Bear Stare: It can nullify attacks motivated by malice with its Purge Shine attack.
- Divine Birds: Varodurumon is a Holy Bird type Digimon, a type that it shares with the Deva Sinduramon and the Holy Beast Zhuqiaomon. It evokes the look of a holy beast and, in at least one instance, is seen leading a group of Holy Digimon against the forces of darkness, including the Three Great Angels themselves.
- Giant Flyer: A bird with the wingspan of a small airplane.
- Japanese Ranguage: Its dub name is how Valdurmon is pronounced in Japanese.
- Light 'em Up: Its signature attacks are Purge Shine, where it creates a barrier of light around itself that nulifies all attacks that have an evil will behind them, and Aurora Undulation, where it fires light directly at the enemies.
- Vertebrate with Extra Limbs: A bird with six wings, the last pair doubling as legs.
VenomMyotismon (VenomVamdemon)
A Demon Beast Digimon with the lower half of a Beast and an upper half covered in a beetle-like shell, VenomMyotismon is the true evolved form of the "King of Darkness", Myotismon. In unleashing its hidden power, VenomMyotismon possesses nothing but omnicidal, violent impulses. Thus, Myotismon, who conducted itself in the manner of a gentleman, hates revealing its true form.
VenomMyotismon appears in Digimon Adventure as the evolved form of Myotismon.
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: It's depicted in most media as being kaiju-sized, as well as a tough opponent to take down.
- Beast Man: Myotismon is still humanoid, but it now has the appearance and mentality of a mindless beast.
- Big Red Devil: Evokes this appearance, and makes its grand anime debut through invoking the Number of the Beast.
- Breath Weapon: "Inferno" is a blast of fire from VenomMyotismon's mouth.
- Chest Blaster: "Chaos Flame", though it's really more of "mid-torso", or "upper crotch" blaster...
- Cool Mask: The same one that Myotismon wears.
- Creepily Long Arms: All the better to smash buildings with.
- Eyes Do Not Belong There: Four of them, right there, on its stomach/crotch area. Its true form, Myotismon's leftover consciousness, is revealed to reside there.
- Good Wings, Evil Wings: Batwinged, torn, and out of scale with the lower body. There's also a much smaller pair sprouting out of its shoulders, and another slightly larger pair right above its hips.
- Horned Humanoid: It has a couple of devil horns on its head.
- Number of the Beast: In its anime debut, it appeared when the clock struck the "hour of the beast", which was 6:06 and 6 seconds, which really helps with the Big Red Devil theme.
- One-Winged Angel: Myotismon heavily dislikes using this form due to discarding his Faux Affably Evil nature for that of a mindless brute, but it's a last resort it can take when all else fails.
- Plague Master: "Venom Infuse" works by VenomMyotismon injecting its enemy with computer viruses, disrupting their data, and then terminating their functions.
- Sanity Slippage: In evolving into VenomMyotismon, Myotismon loses its mind, quite frankly.
- Spikes of Villainy: On the arms and knees.
- Winged Humanoid: It's still humanoid, but it now has a pair of giant wings. It rarely seems to use them, however.
- With Great Power Comes Great Insanity: Myotismon is suave and cultured, but evolving into VenomMyotismon turns it into a ravenous beast with no intelligence.
- Yellow Eyes of Sneakiness: It now has a pair of these, in contrast to the normal eyes that regular Myotismon had.
VenomMyotismonUndead (VenomVamdemonUndead)
An undead version of VenomMyotismon debuting in the stage play.
- Good Wings, Evil Wings: VenomMyotismonUndead's bat wings are even more torn apart than VenomMyotismon's bat wings.
- The Undead: An undead demon beast.
VictoryGreymon
A subspecies of WarGreymon, whose body is clad in armor of the super-metal "Chrome Digizoid", it easily wields its gigantic crushing sword "Dramon Breaker", and is the "Dragon Warrior of Heroes" that fights against its opponents with unique sword techniques. Furthermore, VictoryGreymon possesses an evolutionary code that differs from Digimon that were naturally born in the Digital World, and it is thought that it is a Digimon that digivolved from a Digi-Egg that was produced due to artificial data intervention.
VictoryGreymon is an alternate Mega level to Agumon (2006 Anime Version), and is the partner of Tsurugi Tatsuno in Digimon Next.
- BFS: The main difference from WarGreymon is that VictoryGreymon wields the Dramon Breaker, as opposed to WarGreymon's Dramon Killers, which are Wolverine Claws.
- Combined Energy Attack: It has a similar to WarGreymon's Gaia Force. It splits the Dramon Breaker in two and attaches the pieces to its arms, then fires them from the tips with its "Trident Gaia" attack.
- Draconic Humanoid: Much like WarGreymon, he's a humanoid dragon.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: It can use the shells on its back to wield its "Victory Shield".
- Tyke-Bomb: It was deliberately engineered as a Digi-Egg to be so powerful.
Vikemon
A Mega Digimon that governs the freezing lands of the permafrost, where nothing ever thaws. Its fur has become like ice crystals, and is said to be as hard as Chrome Digizoid. With the morning star "Mjöllnir" it carries on its back, it can annihilate a mountain in one swing, distorting space itself. It manages the Ikkakumon and Zudomon corps, and although in the midst of battle it appears as a heartless berserker, it shows a face of great compassion for its subordinates.
The Digimon Adventure RPG, followed by Digimon Adventure tri. and Digimon Adventure: (2020), have Vikemon as the canon Mega level of Jou (Joe) Kido's Gomamon, replacing Plesiomon. Prior to this, the WonderSwan games depicted it as the Mega form of Iori (Cody) Hida's Armadillomon from Digimon Adventure 02.
- The Berserker: In battles it appears like this.
- Bruiser with a Soft Center: It is extremely compassionate to its allies in spite of its vicious temperament in battle.
- Horny Vikings: It wears a horned helmet despite the fact that Vikings didn't actually wear them. However, it makes sense when you realise that it created by the coalesence of all the internet's information about Vikings, both the factual and the fictictious.
- I Call It "Vera": The morning stars it carries on its back are named Mjöllnir.
- An Ice Person: With Arctic Blizzard, it can flash-freeze an opponent by forcing the surrounding area down to absolute zero.
- Impossibly Cool Weapon: Mjöllnir isn't just a pair of morning stars — it's a pair of morning star nunchucks.
- Literally Shattered Lives: After using Arctic Blizzard, it will usually try to smash the opponent with Mjöllnir.
- Mighty Roar: Bazooka Howl.
Volcanicdramon
A Digimon said to be a dragon that swims in magma, it is thought to live in a place so deep underground that not even Digimon that move about there can reach it. According to some researchers, there are a few who argue that it might have been Volcanicdramon that supported the world from deep beneath the ground ever since the Digital World was created. If it gets to a point where Volcanicdramon rises to the surface, it may be that some kind of crisis is occurring in the Digital World.
- Beware My Stinger Tail: Has a rather ornate tail spike that is, oddly, not used in either of its attacks. Some early concept art has a sword at the end of its tail instead.
- Breath Weapon: Volcanic Flare is a fire breath attack.
- Foe-Tossing Charge: Glide Blaze is an aerial one performed while Wreathed in Flames.
- Hot Wings: Jets of fire can be seen emitting from gaps in its wings.
- Magma Man: Oddly downplayed compared to its previous evolutions. This one puts more emphasis on fire than lava, though it can certainly live in lava.
- Our Dragons Are Different: It's a wyvern made of rock and fire.
- Playing with Fire: Both of its named attacks are fire-themed.
- Wreathed in Flames: It performs its Glide Blaze attack while engulfed in fire.
WarGreymon
A strong dragon warrior clad in Chrome Digizoid armor and the Mega form of Greymon-species Digimon. Though it differs from other, more monstrous Digimon that bear the Greymon name and has a humanoid form, it has greatly increased its speed and power. The Dramon Killer weapons on its arms are especially effective against Dramon-species Digimon, but because WarGreymon is a dragon-like Digimon itsself, they effectively serve as a double-edged sword and endanger their wielder as well. In addition, the two shells on its back can unite to form the strongest shield, the "Brave Shield."
WarGreymon is the Mega form of Taichi Yagami (Tai Kamiya)'s Agumon from Digimon Adventure, as well as the 2020 reboot. As such, has a sort of legendary status in the Digimon mythos. It pretty much set the precedent for most of the final forms of protagonist Digimon that came afterwards, including other Digimon that bear the "Greymon" name. Another notable user of WarGreymon is Takuma Momotsuka on Digimon Survive's Moral Route. It can fuse with MetalGarurumon into Omegamon and has an "evil" counterpart in the form of BlackWarGreymon.

- Bishounen Line: It's described as being as such for the Greymon family in its profile, in that it's humanoid while (most) Greymon are big and monstrous.
- Cool Helmet: It looks like it has a metallic one around its head.
- Elemental Absorption: In a variation where the user draws on ambient elemental energy instead of the opponent's attack, WarGreymon's profile describes "Gaia Force" as gathering energy from the surrounding atmosphere and throwing it in the form of a high-temperature energy ball. In Digimon Adventure: (2020), it's taken a step further and is even able to absorb the light of the Digital world's denizens, making it more of a Combined Energy Attack and a deliberate Shout-Out to the Genki-dama/Spirit Bomb.
- Energy Ball: Its "Gaia Force" technique, which takes the form of a massive fireball.
- Fiery Redhead: It has red hair and many flame-based attacks along with bearing the crest of Courage.
- Flight: Shown to be capable of it in all of its fictional appearances.
- Inconsistent Dub: Just look at its attack listing above. Of course, that's the best we could do for organizational purposes; the fact of the matter is, the dub used different attack names for different attacks regularly.
- Kill It with Fire: "Gaia Force" and "Grey Fire" are both heat and fire based.
- Lizard Folk: Classified as a "Dragon Man" type.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: The Brave Shield, whose halves are mounted on the backs of its shoulders.
- Spectacular Spinning: "Brave Tornado" and "Great Tornado".
- Takes One to Kill One: WarGreymon is a dragon-like Digimon, and the Dramon Killers are effective against other such Digimon. Of course, this doesn't exclude it from being vulnerable to their effects, either.
- Weapon of X-Slaying: Rather infamously, its Dramon Killer weapons.
- Wolverine Claws: The Dramon Killers effectively fit this trope at least visually, occupying the position of its "knuckles" while its actual hands are free.
- Your Size May Vary: It's typically depicted as slightly taller than a human male, but the one seen in the recent Digimon Adventure: (2020) is on par with the more kaiju-sized Mega levels and even the normally larger MetalGreymon.
WarGreymon X (WarGreymon (X-Antibody))
Because of its mission as a true hero, it must have 100% success in battle. It has imparted the super toughness of the Brave Shield to the Dramon Killers, leading to it possessing perfected equipment of unified offense and defense. Due to its fighting style, in which it instantly plunges into the heart of the enemy with the vernier it has equipped to its back, which boast explosive acceleration at the expense of it being able to fly for extended periods, it has certainly become the strongest form of land combat Digimon.
WarGreymon X appears as a major character in Digimon X-Evolution alongside MetalGarurumon X.
- Elemental Absorption: Noteworthy because it appears on screen in Digimon X-Evolution, with fiery energy drawn from the ground to create "Gaia Force" and water from the ocean to create "Posideon Force."
- Making a Splash: "Poseidon Force."
- My Hero, Zero: Invoked in its "Gaia Force ZERO" and "Grey Fire ZERO" attacks.
- No Range Like Point-Blank Range: Its profile describes it performing "Gaia Force ZERO" this way.
- Power Crystal: Like many other X-Antibody Digimon, it has several of them adorning the armor.
WarGreymon [Story Climax Anniv.]
A recolored version of WarGreymon released in February of 2022 during a climactic story event.
- Bling of War: The parts of its armor that aren't red are either gold or silver.
- Palette Swap: Its body is the same color as BlackWarGreymon, but with gold claws, red eyes, and iron-gray hair. Despite this, it's a variant of WarGreymon.
- Primary-Color Champion: Its armor is mostly red and gold, though not in a way that matches Omegamon BP. The underside of the Brave Shield is also a blue-gray color.
A Holy Bird type Digimon with such a massive body that it can cover several mountains. Xiangpengmon usually sleeps deep in the Net Ocean, and its data keeps its environment stable. It awakens if there's a problem with the ocean waters, moving quickly to fix the problem before going back to sleep. Due to its size, the flaps of its wings cause abnormal weather conditions to occur. While it's sleeping, several species of aquatic Digimon build their homes on Xianpengmon while giving their energy to it in turn, creating a symbiotic relationship that benefits all parties involved. All of Xianpengmon's attacks hit multiple targets and cause widespread annihilation, as opposed to just focusing on one target.
- Giant Flyer: Its' big point of interest is just how big it is, dwarfing several mountains at once. It's so big that entire civilizations can thrive on its body.
- Making a Splash: Its Sea of Destruction attack makes a giant sphere of seawater and fires it straight at the ground, no doubt causing tidal waves in its wake.
- Mix-and-Match Critters: It's based on the Chinese peng, a mythical bird that transforms from a giant fish, and has mostly avian parts while combining them with a fish's scales and tail.
- Shock and Awe: Its Lightning Scourge attack sends lightning bolts all over its opponent's surrounding area.
- Turtle Island: It's the size of several mountains, allowing aquatic Digimon to build their homes on it while it sleeps.
Zanbamon
A Majinnote Digimon dressed like a samurai with the lower body of a horse. It is the brave leader of the Musyamon Corps., and though it stands at the top of known warlords, Zanbamon prefers to fight by personally penetrating the enemy's ranks. Its body is fully integrated with its horse's in order to more easily move across the battlefield, and it can fight without losing its balance even during a furious battle. It wields a simple youtou in one hand, and the massive zanbato named "Ryūzan-maru"note in the other.
Zanbamon serves as one of the primary villains of Digimon Next, where is one of the Commandments and a subordinate of Barbamon.
- Anti-Armor: Its "Uchi Kubi Goku Mon" attack can cut the opponent no matter how strong its armor may be.
- Badass Cape: A tattered red cape.
- BFS: The "Ryūzan-maru", which is used in performing "Uchi Kubi Goku Mon".
- Bling of War: Its armor is all colored gold.
- Blood Knight: It enjoys a good fight and in Next the only reason it fought for Barbamon was to fight against strong opponents.
- Cool Helmet: It's a visual shout-out to Date Masamune, even.
- The Dragon Slayer: Invoked in the name of its weapon, the "Ryūzan-maru".
- Dual Wielding: Wields two katanas two fights.
- Everything's Better with Samurai: A demonic centaur samurai who is the leader of its own Corps? Hell yeah!
- Frontline General: It is the general of the Musyamon Corps., but that doesn't make it any less of an eager warrior; it voluntarily stands at the head of the army, leading the charge.
- I Call It "Vera": The "Ryūzan-maru".
- Nuckelavee: Its entire lower body is a demonic-looking horse, with Zanbamon's upper torso shoved to the end of the horse's body and the head of the beast intact.
- Sequence Breaking: A non-gameplay example; instead of having a standard Ultimatenote form in between, one of its trading card games indicates it evolves straight from Musyamon. However, other sources indicate it evolves more conventionally, sometimes from Asuramon or Vajramon.
- Sword Beam: "Jumonji Kiri" involves sending out these with its youtou.
ZeedGarurumon (Z'dGarurumon)
A subspecies of MetalGarurumon, the final form of Garurumon, it is the ultimate beast tank Digimon and equipped with the ultimate superdreadnought-class weapon, the Zeed Cannon. ZeedGarurumon's weapons and ammunition are equipped throughout its body, so its physical strength isn't consumed, and it can sustain a rain of bullets for a long duration. The four laser sights on the tip of its nose have been improved for its ammunition, and can now lock-on to hundreds of objects. Furthermore, ZeedGarurumon possesses an evolutionary code that differs from Digimon that were naturally born in the Digital World, and it is thought that it is a Digimon that digivolved from a Digi-Egg that was produced due to artificial data intervention.
ZeedGarurumon is an alternate Mega level of Gaomon, and is partnered to Yu Inui in Digimon Next.
- BFG: The "Zeed Cannon" on its back.
- Breath Weapon: Blowback Breath.
- Macross Missile Massacre: Fullmetal Blaze.
- Tyke-Bomb: It was deliberately altered when it was a Digi-Egg to be more powerful.
ZekeGreymon
ZekeGreymon is a form obtained when the legendary Digimon bestowed the "evolution" upon a MetalGreymon that sought perfect victory. Its body armor, bestowed by the legendary Digimon, is solid, virtual super-metal called Chrome Digizoid, and the armor attained even further heights and became a body of "Gold Digizoid", which emits high-class golden radiance simply due to its dazzle. As its defensive power is immense and lightweight, its movements are surprisingly more agile than it appears from its giant armor.
ZekeGreymon is partnered to Kiriha (Christopher) Aonuma.
- Chrome Champion: Its body is comprised of Gold Digizoid.
- Cyborg: Much more machine-like than MetalGreymon was who was Greymon wearing MailBirdramon as an armor..
- Depending on the Artist: Is it yellow-gold or gold-gold? Official artwork is unable to make up its mind.
- Flight: Still capable of this.
- Golden Super Mode: For the Xros Wars version of MetalGreymon.
- Kill It with Fire: Its "Zeke Fire" attack has it incinerate the enemy with its hellfire flame breath.
- Light Is Not Good: It shines with a noble light, but it's still the same vicious Virus type it was as a MetalGreymon.
- Lightning Bruiser: You might think a giant T-Rex covered in metal would be pretty slow. You would be wrong.
- Retcon: In 2020, the Digimon Reference Book made it a Mega. It previously did not have a level due to debuting in the Digimon Fusion continuity.
- Unobtanium: Its armor is made of solid Gold Chrome Digizoid.
Zephagamon
An Ultimate Digimon known as the God of Wind, it is an embodiment of the wind data that flows in the Digital World. It primarily operates in forest regions, and uses the wind to carry warm air, ripening the fruits of the trees, and protects not only Digimon but also the environment itself.
Zephagamon's Digicore, the source of its power, is situated beneath the wings on its chest, and is constantly protected by whirling winds. In addition, it is said that, in the event of an emergency, it prevents disasters by expelling energy directly from the atmosphere through its exposed Digicore.
The wind Zephagamon surrounds itself with and unleashes has magical properties, and it is considered one of the heroes of the Vortex Warriors.
- Battle Boomerang: It turns its swords into boomerangs and throws them to unleash slashing attacks enveloped in whirlwinds.
- Bird People: It's an avian humanoid like GrandGalemon before it, though wth more emphasis on the humanoid build.
- Blow You Away: All of its attacks channel wind magic from its Digicore, which it also uses to manipulate the wind outside of its attacks. Its Divine Tempest is a blast of wind magic powerful enough to scour the earth and send enemies hurtling into the distance.
- Dual Wielding: It wields two wing-shaped swords that it can channel its wind magic through.
- Magic Knight: It's a knightly Digimon that wields powerful wind magic and is typed as a Magic Knight Digimon. It's also a member of the Vortex Warriors.
- Razor Wings: Its Anemoi Embrace turns its wings into solid forms made of wind magic to bisect its enemies as it charges past.
- Tornado Move: Its Gale Braver has it throw its swords like Boomerangs and creates tornadoes around them.
