A group of Digimon from Digimon World 2 that serve as leaders of the games' villain group, the Blood Knights. All of them are based on an existing digimon, and the first three guard a particular area, forcing the player to challenge them one by one in order to collect their Chaos Rings and challenge Chaos Lord. After being defeated, their data is combined with the Tamer Crimson in order to create NeoCrimson.
For more information on these species, please see the tropes listing for MetalSeadramon, WarGreymon, BlackWarGreymon, Piedmon, and Machinedramon.
Tropes that apply to more than one of them or the group as a whole:
- Deliberately Monochrome: ChaosMetalSeadramon, ChaosBlackWarGreymon, and ChaosPiedmon, who are all some combination of black, white, or silver (though they do have some splashes of color here and there).
- Expy: The group is almost entirely a duplicate of the Dark Masters of Digimon Adventure, with the Puppetmon role instead filled by a variant of WarGreymon, who was one of the heroic Megas of the same series.
- Palette Swap: The three above. Averted with Chaos Lord, who has some unique additions from Machinedramon's model.
- Red and Black and Evil All Over: The only one who doesn't have a hint of red is ChaosBlackWarGreymon.
- Terrible Trio: ChaosMetalSeadramon, ChaosBlackWarGreymon, and ChaosPiedmon all have to be battled before you can face Chaos Lord.
ChaosMetalSeadramon (ChaosSeadramon)
- Sea Monster: As a Seadramon variant.
- Unusual Weapon Mounting: It has a cannon on its nose.
ChaosBlackWarGreymon (ChaosGreymon)
- Inconsistent Spelling: It is referred to by three different names all within a single battle. On the domain map, he is called by his Japanese name "ChaosGreymon", but refers to himself in his dialogue as "ChaosBlackWarGreymon", and in-battle is named "C-WarGreymon" (ChaosWarGreymon).
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Other than its name and how it was created, it is difficult to say how else it is different from any other CBlackWarGreymon.
ChaosPiedmon (ChaosPiemon)
- Ascended Extra: It and the other Chaos Generals were completely forgotten after Digimon World 2, only for this guy to show up in Digimon Masters as an obtainable digimon.
- Energy Ball: ChaosPiedmon's version of "Mask's Square" differs from vanilla Piedmon by being a black, "Spirit Bomb"-like attack, instead of a Space Master technique.
- Monster Clown: A more powerful version of Piedmon.
- Psychotic Smirk: Its default expression.
Chaos Lord
Chaos Lord is a specific Chaosdramon and is the head of the Blood Knights. In order to reach Chaos Lord, the player must first defeat the three Chaos Generals and take their Chaos Rings.
- Big Bad: For the Chaos Generals and Blood Knights, not so much for Digimon World 2 itself.
- Blade Below the Shoulder: Its right arm ends in a spear.
- Law of Chromatic Superiority: It's both the leader of the Blood Knights and colored red.
- Wolverine Claws: On its left arm.
NeoCrimson
A digital lifeform created by combining the data of the Chaos Generals with the Blood Knight, Crimson. Though NeoCrimson is not actually a digimon, it is listed here for completeness sake.
- Fusion Dance: It's made of pieces of all of the generals.
- Gameplay and Story Segregation: Despite being a combination of the three Generals and Chaos Lord, two of its attacks are derived from unrelated Digimon: Mushmon, a Child/Rookie digimon, and HerakleKabuterimon.
- Mix-and-Match Man: Comprised of parts from the three Generals and Chaos Lord himself.
- Poisonous Person: "Poison Smash."
- Shock and Awe: "Giga Blaster".
