Anthrasax

Named after Anthrax.
- Apparently Powerless Puppetmaster: While the Dark Rebel Army covet a seemingly inactive Anthrax, she is revealed to have been pulling the strings of Abigail when he unknowingly broke the seal on her consciousness and later Kall-Su to have him break the final seal.
- Big Bad: She's the reason why the world of Bastard!! become the way it is, and she manipulated the Dark Rebel Army into break the four seals so she resume exterminating all life.
- The Corrupter: She can infect people with her cells, making them obedient slaves.
- Made of Evil: Stated to have been brought forth by humanity's malice and darkness and exists as part of these "qualities", though she's not dependent on them and averts Gods Need Prayer Badly, having no problem almost annihilating life in the planet once she came to be. Downplayed in when revealed to be an Angel in body created by humand who is acting on her kind's decree to kill every human on the planet.
- Kill All Humans:
- Knight Templar: She sees humanity's extinction her overall goal.
- Mix-and-Match Critters: Her physical form is created from the DNA of various lifeforms.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: A scene unique to the intro of the 2022 ONA has Anthrasax being attacked by air bombardments, tanks, artillery and more coming from what is presumably an entire modern army worth of weaponry, resulting in a grand total of no damage whatsoever to her. It took the Dragon Warrior for her to be defeated, and even then, she was only sealed, not truly killed.
- Our Angels Are Different: She is revealed to be created from an angel.
Ten Wise Men of Europa
A group of scientists who created Anthrasax and Dark Schneider, repopulating the world with numerous lifeforms based on the myths and legends of the old world. They were also aware of Anthrasax's return and took many precautions that include turning themselves into elvish beings.
- The Dividual: With the exception of Abigail, the names of the other nine are unknown.
- Greater-Scope Villain: They're the reason why the world of Bastard!! become the way it is.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: It was their act of studying spiritual energies that caught the attention of the angels and caused the chain of events that lead to Anthrasax nearly destroying the world.
- Science Wizard: They learned to harness spiritual energies, the foundation of the projects that lead to the creation of the Dragon Warrior and Anthrasax.
- Well-Intentioned Extremist: They only created Anthrasax to establish world peace, having no idea she had other plans in mind.
Michael
One of the four Archangels.
- Gender-Blender Name: Michael is usually a male name. This Michael is a female.
- Lady of War: The strongest and most powerful of the four Archangels.
Gabriel
One of the four Archangels.
- Gender-Blender Name: While the Biblical Gabriel is a male angel, this one is a female. Granted Gabriel can be both a male and female name.
Satan
One of the rulers of Hell.
Lucifer
