One of the Three Sorcerer Generals who makes spiders appear with her talismanic magic. Under orders from Nei, she is out to assassinate Dark Schneider. She doesn’t have much experience with men, and she is loyal and has a pure heart.

Her name is a reference to Diamond Head vocalist Sean Harris.

  • Adaptation Expansion: The 2022 anime adaptation did this to both her and Kai Harn. The two were teased during Dark Schneider's battle against Omega Abigail, then eventually helping the heroes out once it's clear Abigail is still alive.
  • Aren't You Going to Ravish Me?: Inverted. After Dark Schneider successfully seduces her, it turns out he stopped at third base, getting a ridiculous reaction from Sean Ari by nibbling on her ear and spends the rest of the episode wondering why he didn't just waltz his way past third base over to home.
  • The Beast Master: Able to summon spiders using her talisman.
  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: Massive tatantulas big enough to grapple a man to his doom.
  • Defecting for Love: How Dark Schneider manages to best her. See No Guy Wants an Amazon below.
  • Honey Trap: In her attempt to assassinate D.S., she disguises herself as a lord's daughter to lure him in. She nearly succeeded.
  • The Immodest Orgasm: Her first time with Dark Schneider is not subtle to say the least - Lars in particular is left in shock from the sound of it alone. Hilariously, it's revealed not long after that the two never actually had penetrative sex and she had that reaction from having her ear nibbled on.
  • No Guy Wants an Amazon: Became her biggest worry after learning of Talisman and Charm magic from Arshes Nei. Dark Schneider finds her adorable regardless.
  • Out of Focus: The '92 OVA infamously made her not doing much other than being one of Nei's followers. Her skill was never brought up once, and she didn't even get her own fight scene!
  • Paper Talisman: Her main method of casting spells.
  • Summon Magic: Summons several monsters with her talismans to fight for her.
  • Squishy Wizard: Downplayed, but she primarily fights from afar with her talismans and Summon Magic compared to the other Sorcerer Generals who mix it up with magic and melee in equal measure.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl to Kai's Tomboy.

    Kai Harn

Voiced by: Yuko Kobayashi (1992 OVA), Shizuka Itō (2022 ONA), Debra Jean Rogers (OVA, English dub), Kayleigh McKee (2022 ONA English dub), Danann Huicoechea (Latin American Spanish, 2022 ONA)

One of the Three Sorcerer Generals. She casts Ancient Language Spells that turn her enemies into stone. Like Nei, she uses the orthodox sword techniques of the Hariken School and is a proud magic swordsman. She despises men and believes in the strong bond of the Sorcerer Generals. Under Nei’s orders, she takes on Dark Schneider.

Her name is a reference to Kai Hansen, former singer of Helloween and leader of Gamma Ray.

  • Adaptation Expansion: The 2022 anime adaptation did this to both her and Sean Ari.The two were teased during Dark Schneider's battle against Omega Abigail, then eventually helping the heroes out once it's clear Abigail is still alive.
  • Ambiguously Brown: Has the tannest skin after Arshes out of all the main girls which is never commented on.
  • Anime Hair: Her hairstyle is this to add to her androgynous appearance. Stands out compared to the more realistic hairstyles of the other girls.
  • Armored Villains, Unarmored Heroes: She wears armor in her first appearance, but after her Heel–Face Turn dresses in more Stripperiffic outfits like the other females.
  • Ascended Extra: From a minor character in Dark Rebel Armies arc to one of the major players along with Yoko in Hell's Requiem arc, in which she leads the samurai army of Aian Meide.
  • The Beast Master: Kai can summon a Cockatrice as her trump card and controls it through a dark crystal - unlike her usual petrification magic the Cockatrice's petrification is not linked to any god, which means Dark Schneider can't just negate it by evoking his own pacts made with them. Too bad for her that a gust of wind would change the direction of the Cockatrice's breath in the last second...
  • Curtains Match the Windows: Her hair and and eyes are both blue.
  • Defeat by Modesty: Seemingly averted at first, D.S blows away her armor with an attack and leaves her with only undergarments on, which only seems to piss her off and make her bring out her trump card against him. Played straight later on as her Cockatrice's stone breath misfires at her and she's hit by Dark Schneider's magic while distracted, whereupon her undergarments are also ripped off and she's defeated, though the wounds (and infection) she got didn't help her situation. Played straight again by Yngwie reminding her of what Darshe did to her to get the upper hand in their fight.
  • Does Not Like Men: She despises men. That is until Dark Schneider shows her that men aren't so bad after all. In his own way, that is. Seemingly averted in the Hell's Requiem arc where she has some tension with Joshua.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: Has this reaction to Sean Ari fighting alongside Dark Schneider against her.
  • Hidden Buxom: With her armor on, Dark Schneider actually mistakes her for a pretty boy. Once her armor is destroyed, her ample bosom makes him realize right away that she is a woman.
  • Hoist by Her Own Petard: She summons a Cockatrice as a last-ditch effort to bring down Dark Schneider. While its petrification breath has a very wide area of effect, a change of wind direction is enough for the gas to backfire on her. Then as she frantically tries to avoid it, she drops her magic crystal, which she uses to control the creature, causing it to go on a rampage and injure her.
  • The Immodest Orgasm: After the Suck Out the Poison moment mentioned below.
  • Kamehame Hadoken: Does this pose when firing her Dio spell to try and kill Dark Schneider while he's being petrified.
  • Magic Knight: Kai is a master of Hariken School's swordsmanship style and is skilled in high ancient magic.
  • Restraining Bolt: Has a crystal that she uses to control her cockatrice. When the crystal is broken, it starts rampaging out of her control and nearly kills her.
  • Samus Is a Girl: Dark Schneider initially mistakes her for a young male warrior fighting to white knight Sean Ari after her defeat.
  • Suck Out the Poison: Much like what Princess Sheila did to him, this is how D.S. treats Kai's wound. Which happens to be located just slightly above her waist.
  • Summon Magic: Her trump card is summoning a Cockatrice to try and petrify Dark Schneider.
  • Taken for Granite: Her magic is able to turn anyone into stone. She also summons a Cockatrice with a Breath Weapon of similar properties to do so on a large scale.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Sean's Girly Girl, to the point that D.S. initially mistakes her for a young male warrior during their fight.
  • Wrecked Weapon: Dark Schneider destroys her sword in the same blow he destroys her armor.
  • You Just Told Me: Kai Harn gets so caught up in a rage with Sean Ari's betrayal and vow to protect D.S. at the risk of her life that she vows to cut down Sean Ari herself, all the while accidentally swearing by her patron god of war Yng Wie outloud to do it. Dark Schneider uses this knowledge to querie the gods related to Yng Wie and overturn his petrification.

    Di-amon

Voiced by: Shigeru Chiba (1992 OVA), Takehito Koyasu (2022 ONA), Kevin Seymour (1992 OVA, English dub), Bill Butts (2022 ONA English dub), Idzi Dutkiewicz (Latin American Spanish, 2022 ONA)

One of the Three Sorcerer Generals, Di-amon is a muscular immortal vampire. He is a “True Forefather,” making him the most powerful immortal in existence. In order to exceed Nei and Kall’s powers, he collects the blood of virgins. His appearance is marked by his bulging muscles and gaudy makeup.

Named and modeled after King Diamond.

  • Actor Allusion: Takehito Koyasu once again voices an evil vampire in an 80s fantasy series chock full of violence and musical references.
  • The Beast Master: He has a werewolf servant, whose human form looked like a bootleg D.S. with an eyepatch. In Hell's Requiem, he returns with a pair of weretigers.
  • Beautiful All Along: Played with. His current face is not his real one. His true face is actually quite pretty, but he considers it to be rather ugly and finds the one he wears to be much prettier.
  • Eye Beams: His signature "Vampire Assassin" beam attack.
  • The Igor: He has one named Jodoh. Whenever the poor sap screws up in anyway, he will get his blood sucked as punishment. Not that the Count likes the taste given that he prefers virgin blood.
  • Large Ham: Just as bombastic as D.S. himself.
  • The Juggernaut: As a vampire, he's functionally immortal (which he loves to remind the audience of) and can take Darsh's spells and Sean and Kai's attacks on him like they're nothing. Of course, as expected of a vampire he is also vulnerable to their most well-known weakness as pointed out below.
  • An Offer You Can't Refuse: How D.S eventually deals with him. Since Di-amon is immortal, D.S.instead casts the Accused spell on him, cursing him to turn into a toad should he ever fail to heed D.S.'s orders. Also serves as a bit of Foreshadowing of Arshes Nei's own situation.
  • Our Vampires Are Different: Originally a wizard before becoming a vampire to gain more power. Like many vampires, he's able to turn into a bat and is weak to sunlight.
  • The Starscream: Secretly plots to overthrow Arshes Nei and Kall-Su.
  • Virgin Power: His source of power is the blood he drank from the many virgins he kidnaps.
  • Weakened by the Light: As a vampire, he cannot witstand the sunlight and will be killed or at least forced into his bat form in order to regenerate if exposed to it.
