For a company with more than 200 talents, it's no surprise that many of them can sing and they're very good at it.

Main Branch

    Original Songs
  • "Virtual to LIVE", sung in celebration of Nijisanji's first anniversary, is their de facto anthem, promising to move towards a better tomorrow together regardless of everyone's differences.
  • "Antigravity Girl", Mito's song from the "SMASH THE PAINT" album, was composed by Taku Inoue, most famous for releasing awesome music for THE iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls, and the result is a memorable and uplifting banger.
  • ChroNoiR's "Bloody Groovy", composed by Kanaria, showcases the duo's harmonious vocals with a funky swinging tune that you can't help but bob your head to.
  • VOLTACTION's "Watercolor", composed by the band Novelbright, is an optimistic and uplifting rock ballad that shows off the group's phenomenal vocals - vocal training is a core part of the VTA curriculum, and it shows.

    Debut Singles
  • VOLTACTION's explosive debut song, "Inlaid"note , introduces the second VTA graduate group with a bang. It is arranged and composed by professional Lantis music producer R・O・N and has all the makings of a powerful Shōnen anime opening.

    Cover Songs
  • Mito's Chururira Chururira Daddadda! is a song befitting her "class president" lore. Her sweet vocals combined with the song's lyrics wouldn't sound out of place for her role as the class's sadistic killer throughout the entire song.
  • Hibari's "CHAINSAW BLOOD" cover is an excellent example of how well his vocals suit rock songs as well as his technical skill as a singer. The amount of personality he brings to the cover through the spoken parts of the song is the icing on the cake.
  • ChroNoiR once again showing out with their cover of Camellia's "HIASOBI", an incredibly catchy yet intense electro-swing song that's seen many high energy MMD dance covers and UTAU covers, but not many human covers. Not only do they keep up with the song's breakneck speed and aggressive bass, they manage to match the energy of the original incredibly even while mellowing the sound.

Nijisanji EN

    Debut Singles
  • LazuLight's debut song, "Diamond City Lights", composed by Mafumafu, a well-known utaite and music producer. It's calm melody and hopeful lyrics sets the tone of the beginning of their debut - and to EN as well.
    • This song was covered by livers from other branches. Seffyna of the KR branch performed a Japanese language cover, and was part of a Korean language cover alongside Song Mia and Ban Hada, with this cover posted on the latter's channel.
    • Finally, as part of Lazulight's first anniversary, Sara Hoshikawa, who did the "storyboarding" for the song which served as a basis for the lyricist to compose lyrics for, also performed her own cover of this song, also in English.
  • OBSYDIA's debut song, "Black Out", composed by TeddyLoid, who also did work on Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. The song's harder beats and fast-paced lyrics makes it an energetic song and a great Foil to DCL.
  • Ethyria's debut group song, "God sees all", composed by ChibaNyan, who mixed the legendary Era Otogibara version of "Gomikasu". Slightly tenuous lyrics aside, the instrumentation and the quartet's powerful vocals immediately enthrall you.
  • Luxiem's debut song, "Hope in the dark", also composed by ChibaNyan. The catchy electro swing music and the passionate lyrics will have you falling for the boys. It's so awesome that the music video gained the most views on the channel. For Christmas 2021, Enna sang a short holiday arrange of it with her sultry voice, catching fellow livers and fans alike off-guard. Bonus points for Enna's opening line being a direct response to Vox's bout in the original song.
  • Noctyx’s debut song, "Stuck In The Abyss", composed by MATZ and BBY NABE. Just like how "Black Out" is the dark side to "Diamond City Lights", this techno song contrasts to Luxiem’s charming melody with a chaotic (yet equally hopeful) tune.
  • ILUNA’s "Let’s Get It Started", also by MATZ. Lots of autotune aside, the cheerful EDM perfectly matches with their encouraging lyrics of being who they are. Ren and Maria also made their own solo versions with Maria almost nailing the rap parts of the song and Ren singing the girls' portions with his own pop star-ish voice. The NIJI ex-ID version has Xia, Reza, and ZEA nail the rap portions with their own diverse vocal ranges...backed up by the combined harmony of Taka, Amicia, and Nara during the chorus.
  • XSOLEIL's debut song is the futuristic hip-hop anthem "HOLD IT DOWN". The wild, bombastic song manages to showcase all the members' wildly different voices without sacrificing cohesion. In Kotoka's solo version, she does a voice impression of her debut mates with ease.

    Group Singles
  • LazuLight's rendition of "Virtual to LIVE" in celebration of the first anniversary since the English branch's debut deserves special mention since the MV features footage filmed by Pomu, who hooked the acrylic stands of the LazuLight members to a weather balloon and sent it up the stratosphere (thus explaining her breaks in the preceding months). And as the weather balloon reaches 20,000m, all members of NijiEN (up to Noctyx) join in for the final chorus.
  • Luxiem’s "Jazz on the Clock!!" has an amazingly groovy beat with lyrics talking about, well, jazz and living their lives. Bonus points for the song including a snippet of the opening from "Hope in the dark".
  • To celebrate their second anniversary (and the anniversary of NijiEN as a whole), LazuLight released "Light Me Up", an energetic number that wouldn't be out of place in a rhythm game.

    Individual Talents
  • Finana's first solo song, "TSUNAMI", a Boastful EDM where she compares herself to the titular natural disaster.
  • In a unique twist, Uki's lore video doubles as an MV for his original song "Deja Vu", composed by Pretty Patterns. The song showcases his soothing voice and features a gentle, hypnotic melody with beautiful lyrics that tells how he acquired his powers and ended up in the past. This song is considered to be his theme song and a staple in the Nijisanji community. Additionally, the song features a post-chorus in Latin which is translated below:
    Star from the empty space
    Reveal yourself
As we travel on in time
  • During his debut, Ren released his song "Blue Sugar", an upbeat sugar pop song that's about his struggles with mental illness. Despite the dark subject, the song still begs to be danced to and it's not uncommon to find fans and fellow Niji talent quoting the lyrics. Ren has also done an acoustic version of his song on stream, giving fans taste of his energetic voice and singing range on their own.
  • Roll Dat Dough is an...unusual song for both Enna and Pretty Patterns. However, the catchy melody and Enna's beautiful voice made it a favorite among her fans, despite being a humorous song about Mexican food. Enna later shared the story behind it, that Patterns made the song for a random dude he met, but he never showed up again, so Enna took the song for herself.
  • "Birds of Time" is a particular standout among Enna's several original songs. It's a thoughtful, wistful ballad, almost a lullaby, depicting Enna reflecting on her quest for redemption.
    Oh, can't you see?
The universe never meant harm to me...
  • Enna's ETHYRIA, a heavenly chant sung entirely in Conlang, released to celebrate the one year anniversary of the group. One year later, it was remixed as ETHYRIA //TRUE.END to both celebrate the group's second anniversary as well as a final send-off to Nina Kosaka, who has graduated by then, featuring her prominently in the MV.
  • "Legatus 505", Fulgur's deliciously angsty tie-in song for his novel of the same name, blends a catchy synthwave melody with dark, thoughtful musings on love, guilt, and trauma.
  • After "Blue Sugar"'s runaway success, Ren released a Spiritual Successor entitled "Amplify", inspired by his triumphs over the mental struggles that gave rise to "Blue Sugar". It's fast-paced, invigorating, and overall brimful of the hope that it chronicles - and, if anything, it's proven even more successful than its predecessor, topping charts within days.
  • Just shy of one year after his debut and the release of "Deja Vu," Uki collaborated with Pretty Patterns once again for a Sequel Song called "Starlight, Stargazer". It is just as beautiful as its predecessor, with the added emotional impact of it serving as thanks to the Stargazer community for staying with him for so long. And much like Deja Vu, it has its own Latin portion (translated below):
    Love from the Milky Way
    Keep us together
  • On the day of Noctyx's first anniversary, Uki released "LUNAM" as a slow, reflective Sequel Song to "Stuck in the Abyss" that affirms the bond that Noctyx shares with one another that grows ever stronger as time passes.
  • "Wanderer" stands out not only by being slower and darker in tone to Ren's previous songs, but also by being the first to have a fully animated music video.
  • Hex's first solo song, "U GOT HEXED", is a Boastful Rap that makes excellent use of his gravelly bass voice.
  • In what would be his first (and sadly only) original song, Mysta released "DETECT MY LOVE", which was made in collaboration with Camellia. The self-aware song, which dives into Mysta's feelings of fame and thoughts as a streamer, is not only a fun banger with an explosive impact, but it has incredible energy and attitude from start to finish with Mysta displaying impressive lyrical and vocal prowess, along with a rapping speed that matched Camellia's aggressive electro-swing hard beats perfectly. Despite previously expressing that he's not a singer or a rapper, Mysta, as Ike said, ate and left no crumbs with this one.
  • Enna's original song Mushroom, an ethereal-sounding folk song about struggling with mental illness, accompanied by a beautiful yet haunting, dark fairy-tale styled music video. It was released as a fundraiser to spread awareness of mental health, which Enna herself has stated she is struggling with. Additionally, how the song came to be is a Moment of Awesome in itself. It originally was just a song snippet Enna made up during her playthrough of One Hand Clapping, which caught the attention of keiki (the song's composer), and then it became a full blown song more than a year later.

    Cover Songs
  • Enna puts her own spin on "KING", making full use of her rock vocals and changing the instrumentation to match.
  • Millie's cover of "Marshall Maximizer" has her break out her powerful and aggressive vocals, with next to no empty space getting in the way of each chorus's buildup.
  • In stark contrast to his typical cheerful and friendly image, Luca's cover of "Mafia" has an incredibly menacing aura. Combined with the impressively deep gravel of his voice, it's easy to believe that he really is the "mean and evil" Mafia boss he claims to be.
  • After he showed us his impressive vocals during his karaoke stream, Ike released an epic cover of "Chronos", matching his high vocals with the rock beat. And then he lets out that metal scream during the beat drop...
  • Despite his wave not having a debut song, Vezalius still gives a powerful first impression with his cover of "The Disease Called Love" by Neru and k'5, which has the added emotional impact of tying into his lore.
  • Millie's affinity for Kikuo songs once again makes itself known with her cover of "The Good Child and the Fox Spirit". Her vocals not only make the atmosphere of her cover just as good as the original, but the fact that it's dedicated to Nina makes it all the sweeter as you can feel her love for her pouring out.
  • To celebrate Pomu's 2023 birthday the entirety of Nijisanji ENnote  up to that point came together for an uplifting cover of Goose House's "Oto no Naru Houe" that gives everyone a chance to shine. Special mention goes to this cover also doubling as a heartwarming final send-off to Nina Kosaka, as it released just under a week after her graduation.

    BGM
  • The BGM that plays out during Selen's first alternate outfit reveal is a remix of "Black Out", fashioned to resemble a military anthem; fitting, since Selen's outfit turns out to be inspired by military uniforms.
  • Hex’s Lullaby is a piano piece by YUY_IX that serves as Hex Haywire’s stream intro and background music. It somehow manages to be both haunting and comforting at the same time, perfectly fitting for XSOLEIL's Sage of Grief.
