• AllMusic suggested that Elliot Goldenthal's score for the film, which shares a lot of DNA with his scores for Sphere and Alien³, would have been nominated for an Oscar if the rest of the film had been financially successful.
  • Lara Fabian's "The Dream Within" (one of the score tracks - "Adagio And Transfiguration" - with added lyrics) is pretty damn epic, too.
  • If you sit through the credits till the end of "The Dream Within", you'll be treated to a rare North American appearance by L'arc-en-Ciel!
  • "Code Red" is the song that perfectly exemplifies urgency and sheer bloody panic. Used particularly well during the Medical Scanner scene.
