• The game frequently goes out of its way to remind you that you're weak and vulnerable. The odds are always stacked against you and the survivors you control will die if you let your guard down for even a moment. That makes it all the more gratifying when you successfully evade death using your wits and whatever meager supplies you can get your hands on. This is doubly true if you get the best ending while playing Survival mode, as it means you've completed this long, arduous journey as the same ordinary person you've been controlling the entire game.
  • Doing the above is extra sweet if the survivor you're controlling had a mundane profession prior to the outbreak. You can find the Panacea and narrowly escape the destruction of London even as a humble custodian or copywriter.
• If you emerge victorious from King Boris' gauntlet, a line from one of his henchmen implies that no one has ever pulled that off before.
